Chapter 58 - Quagmire

Sharaina sat on Light's bed with her legs folded. She watched Light search his closet. Light walked out of the closet with the very book he didn't want her to read the last time she was there. He gave it to her and sat down close to her. Sharaina opened the book and she frowned at the encryptions Light used. She couldn't make anything of the secret gamarax manipulator language.

She started to read the words aloud when Light covered her mouth. She looked at him stunned as he shook his head sideways. He slowly took his hand off her mouth and he took the book away from her. He turned a few pages and handed the book back to her. Sharaina read again and this time she was able to understand.

"Do not read what you see aloud. I don't want my mother to sense what we are doing. Remember I told you that before you, I hadn't told anyone about this." Light cautioned her.

"I'm sorry, I will be careful from now on." Sharaina said.
