Chapter One-Luciana

Chapter One: Luciana

It was cold in Red City where a man with a protruding stomach was driving a car at night.

"Aaargh!" cursed the man as his GPS device stoped working and car too. He was in the middle of nowhere and the road was empty. No sign of life and cabs anywhere.

His neck twisted to check.

He managed to start the car again and it revved noisily. He drove into a weird-looking place and clearly ignored the no-entry sign. The place looked abandoned but the gentleman seemed to not mind. "What the…?"

He was suddenly stopped by werewolves and he knew he was in danger.

'Shit!'

He tried revising but about four werewolves climbed over his car and clawed his window. They bent his door with supernatural strength; exposing the terrified man.

"I..I'm sorry. P-please…!" He screamed but there was no considerate response.

The plumpy man fell to the floor, and the last thing he saw was a tall shapy silhouette of a woman clad in a red fluffy robe catwalking towards him.

She bent down watching the helpless man quiver.

"Welcome to Red city," the lady whispered.

***

Luciana Dubrev.

She stayed, lying down on her comfortable bed in her hotel room, facing up.

"Luciana Dubrev?" A voiced owned by a seemingly annoyed fellow spoke over the telephone. The hot redhead just snubbed him like she wasn't being spoken to. "You'll cause trouble in your town, you hear m…!"

Before the voice could continue, the line was cut with a beeping sound.

She leered and stood up to enjoy the beautiful view of her city. She was the Luna here. Luciana Dubrev.

The place was large. She had total control of this part of town and no one, no Alpha dared take over her town. Luciana was an independent woman with power.

"Miss Luciana! Miss Luciana!" Called a female from the other side of her door. Luciana went on to get the door with her fancy shoes hitting against the tile. "Miss Luciana," It was a scanty blonde who appeared shy.

"Hello, there. How may I help you?" The Luna lifted the side of her lips. Despite being powerful, Luciana was a compassionate ruler.

"Ma'am-"

"Lucy," She corrected and caressed her face. Her voice sounded more firm. "Come in,"

Cara was the girl's name. They both sat on the comfy bed. "My husband- He's taken all the money, abandoned I and my children… I don't know what to do." She sobbed into Luciana's shoulder and the Luna comforted her.

"He left you for another woman."

Cara nodded positively.

The Luna then rubbed her head. "This is what I tell you about men. Love is weak. Love is not what you should rely on. Give it to those who deserve it; like your children. Be tough. You'll understand."

Her door was opened unceremoniously and it was Wendy; a pigtailed attractive lady. She crossed her legs and leaned on the door's frame. She seemed tough and a bit muscular.

"Lucy,"She was the only one comfortable calling her that.

Cara exited the room and Wendy gave a look of pity at the woman.

Luciana smiled. "I knew my plan would work."

"You sabotaged her and let a fellow woman like you seduce her husband."

She stood up. "I was testing him."

"He was bound to fall, have you seen Jemima?"

Luciana busied herself with pouring whiskey into glasses. "I was just looking out for my girl, that's all."

The masculine but beautiful Wendy walked in closer. "Well you have to get doing that because there's a cop here to see you."

The memory of what happened last night flashed through Luciana's mind and she knew what was up.

She collected her robe from the bed and exit with a grin.

"There's case of a missing man. His name is Timmy Redcliffe, and he was last seen yesterday, heading towards this direction," said a cop to the Luna and other girls present.

"What's your name?" asked Luciana.

"Uh, Kye Western?"

"Kye~" Luciana sang it like a song with a grin on, as her fellow ladies circled the cop. This raised tension in the man despite the ladies having smiling faces.

"Me and ma girls didn't do anything,"

"But—"

A mysterious female stealthy snuk up on him from the back, and Kye got startled by the cold but feminine voice tone, "Why do you assume we had something to do with it?"

"I've heard cases of my kind coming in here and not stepping out the same." The policeman feigned toughness but Luciana could smell fear.

"Ladies, don't make the environment hostile for him." Complained Luciana. She went further to narrate. "There were two dead bodies found on the road and I wanna know whose been terrorising my town. I suspect your Alpha may have a clue on whose in charge of the sudden deaths in my territory."

"The Alpha will not be pleased if anything happens to me." Kye gulped down saliva nervously.

Wendy gave him a punch on his face. This caused policeman Kye to produce blood out of his nose. Wendy warned in a whisper, "Then tell him to send someone more capable next time."

She used her wild strength to push him against his car, then opened it just so he could be urged inside.

"Bye, bye," the creepy girl waved as the cop's car's engine rumbled. The mysterious girl's name was Denna. She had pale skin and a silver hair. She asked her Luna worried, "I hope we did the right thing."

"I hope so to," added Wendy in doubt.

"What if he calls the All-Alpha…?"

"Nobody's calling the All-Alpha," this was from Luciana. She also placed her palm over Denna's shoulder. "We need to revenge our dead sisters. We must find who killed them, even if it's means sending such messages."

All Red city dwellers watched as the police car drove away.

Wendy spoke to Luciana privately as they ambled away, "Don't let your emotions get the best of you, my Luna. If Alpha Damon was to come here, we'd be screwed."

Lucy: "Don't worry, that guy's just a lowlife worker," she leered. "And I'm not scared."

"Is this feud still about Julietta? Your dead sister?"

DEAR JULIETTA.
