"Let's end this," Said Jinwoo to which Yoo Jinho nodded as Jinwoo walked towards the heavily wounded body of the spider.
He took out the Dagger.

Cutting open the spider's body, he found his answer. The corpses of many half-eaten bug magic beasts fell out of the stomach. The light was coming from each of the bugs.

Going from bug to bug, he found a magic core in each of them. Some of them were smaller due to being digested, but many more were in perfect condition. Combined, he obtained 10 more magic cores.
"Awesome!"
He came here for rent money. He would walk away with a mortgage of treasures.
He then stored the spider and Light magician's corps in inventory which again shocked Yoo Jinho.
As he was thinking how much he could store? And why only their bodies? What would he do with them? These questions were raised in his mind but he didn't have the courage to ask Jinwoo, a man who killed 8 people without batting an eye.
"Thank you very much, Hyungnim!"
Yoo Jinho stood up and bowed his entire upper body, making a 90-degree angle at the waist. The smile returned to his face.
While Yoo Jinho went around gathering Hwang Dong Seok party's bags with the magic cores, Jinwoo went and picked the pocket of everyone in the Hwang Dongseok party.
'Gotta take what's mine.'
The contractual wage for today was 2 million. He was not going to let the man go to the afterlife without paying him. In Hwang Dongseok's wallet, he found just a little over 2 million won. He recalled Hwang Dongseok saying he would be paid in cash, right after the Raid; it seemed the man was not lying. After all, you couldn't cut off the tail every time. If nothing unusual like the appearance of mana crystals had occurred, they would've probably finished the Raid with no trouble.

But there was a loose end to tidy up before leaving.

Jinwoo thanked no one in particular, then got up and left. Yoo Jinho, who had gone to place the Hunters' magic cores in his bag, panicked when he saw Jinwoo missing after coming back.

Only the corpses of Jinwoo's victims were scattered about.

Turning blue, Yoo Jinho frantically chased after Jinwoo.
At the scene of the incident, the Association's investigators and staff had arrived. The protocol in the case of death during a Raid was simple. Yoo Jinho put on a proud expression.

The longsword's price was 700 million, and the shield was 500 million. Produced from magic cores worth hundreds of million won and other expensive materials, these were powerful equipment that could raise the level of a D-rank Hunter to C-rank. A theory of what happened in the Dungeon was created in her head.

With a satisfied expression, she finished the recording of the incident.
"The investigation is now over. You are both free to leave. I know today must've been hard. The Association thanks you for your cooperation in this matter."

Jinwoo answered for the pair.
The investigator left as quickly as she had arrived.
"Thank you as well, Hyungnim."
Yoo Jinho bowed again at a 90-degree angle. Even after coming out of the Gate, his at-attention-attitude did not change. The young man probably went through a lot of scary things back there, Jinwoo thought.
"You did well, too."
"Eh, I didn't really do anything. It was all Hyungnim."
"Boss I'm here," said a man who just came out of a heavy-duty vehicle dressed in a working class outfit.
Hyungnim he is Mr. Hayna is the one I was talking about. He deals with buying and selling of magical crystals in our company, I know there are too many magical crystals, and I don't think you have that many connections to give the crystals and magic cores.
So I will take care of dealing with magical Crystals and cores and the money will transfer to your account"
Yoo Jinho respectfully said. Jinwoo nodded as he knew the man in front won't even think about cheating on him. So he took out Essence Stones Mana Crystals and dumped them into a commercial vehicle. When Hayna wasn't busy on the phone...
it was filled to the brim with Essence Stones Mana Crystals. The highest price for a magic core from a C-rank Gate was 10 million, even the lowest would be worth at least several million. Jinwoo tried to obtain a rough count of the magic cores he was holding and screamed inside in delight.

He had to hold back the laughter of joy.
"Hyungnim, what about the spider core and aren't there more?" Asked Yoo Jinho as after mining he was sure that there are more crystals and he didn't see the dungeon's boss core so he asked in curiosity.
"Aa don't worry about them. I had a use for them So I will be keeping the remaining ones with me.."
"I see, then good luck again thank you, and see you next time" Said Yoo Jinho in a very respectful manner even though he wanted to know what kind of use Hyungnim was talking about.
But he didn't ask it as he knew Don't meddle in others' affairs unless you want your own nose scraped a little.
After saying goodbyes and sharing contact numbers and Bank details both part ways.
Suddenly, drops of water appeared on the bag.

It was nighttime and I arrived home with chicken wings and some other expensive food. After all, why not now I am rich?
As 1.7 billion won had been transferred to my account just an hour ago. In my past life, I never thought I would earn this much money in my whole life. Yes if it converts into USD it doesn't seem much but still, it's enough to shake my whole life.
Where it would take a NORMAL JOB WORKER their whole life even then he won't be able to get this much money and I got it in less than 8 hours.
This again shows that money doesn't mean anything. If you have power, money will come running straight to you.
And this has just started. Soon I will have so much money that it won't mean anything to me.

I still had the 10 stat points from the emergency quest. I was itching to use them up. It was an amount that normally required three days of daily quests (albeit missing a point or two) level-ups (but not freely distributable).
'First and foremost, strength so it can be even number and agility. Then, sense.'
I put 3 points into strength making it 60 as I felt a great strength flowing in my veins. Then I put 3 points into agility and the remaining 3 into sense. And last one into Constitution.

My attributes had risen quite a bit. Agility had almost caught up to my strength, and in no time, his sense had reached 49 points. Once agility and strength reached the same level, I planned on focusing on the constitution a little bit. Leaving aside intelligence, which is already high and with my permanent mana absorption I wanted to raise his stats evenly.
What made me the happiest registered first: and foremost is the title skill THE WAY OF THE SHAMBLU". Now thanks to that I can gain exp even from killing humans which opens up many many possibilities.
Yes, I don't have any plans of committing mass genocide it's far from that. But I also know I will encounter many enemies and with this, I will be less like to spare them.
Plus the bonus exp itself chary on the top, my level, which had jumped by 5 levels, and the newly earned "Bloodlust" skill. Thanks to the 10 stat points, my attributes looked great as well. Just all this would've made the second-best day of my life. but this was not all that he had earned today.

Having collected ten people's shares all to myself, I had earned an incredible amount. It was an unthinkable stroke of luck or just my doing.
I took out a bag and opened the bag full of the best quality Essence Stones Mana Crystals and the biggest and brightest one was from spider boss monster.
I plan to absorb them and hole these ones won't just give 0.1 mana. Plus I want to try out something that I came across in Reddit's one of the forums.
Yes, I read many of them and now I am eternally thankful for myself to read all that now very useful knowledge.
the way the mana described in many of the fantasy Japanese novels functions, but I'm having some difficulty with certain points. From the way I understand it, mana tends to be just another form of energy, which can flow through a circuit and power a motor (for example death march), or be converted back and forth between electrical energy and mana. From this I'm led to believe that it functions just the same as electricity, displaying the same type of electrical repulsion as you'd see between positive or negative charges.
Sometimes magic is manipulated by simply imaging (or exerting the powers of your spirit) the flow across your blood, soul, or some other type of medium that is kinda inconsistent. It also seems that mana can be stored in some kind of gem to act as a battery in magic tools, but in such a case what determines the direction of flow? Does magic in a circuit flow from positive to negative? Is it similar to an AC current where the direction of flow moves back and forth in wave form?
And finally, the most ambiguous point, what determines the change of state from magical power into the various elements? I've seen some novels describe a rune, but what principle determines the effect of the rune? Are they geometrical shapes that manipulate the repulsion force of Mana? Does mana break apart into different forms depending on the angle of collision (assuming that runes perhaps act as a kind of particle collider)?
Honestly, I'm just trying to wrap my head around magic circuitry so that perhaps I could make up a system of magic that utilizes the principles of computational science.
Mana is like having a new blood being transferred into your body and can cause unnatural causes to strengthen a part of your body, like giving you pink muscles(i.e making you stronger than a normal person on earth). Mana can also be more likely a new electrical battery that combines both negative and positive charges that living cells are made and formed(that would explain how magic can heals and fix missing limbs).
Things like "it's a form of energy" don't really do much in the way of describing it, I mean what sources of energy have you ever experienced? Electricity? Nuclear? Heat? Motion? Do any of those seem like a good descriptor of mana?
Always thought of mana as watery but textually it feels airy and cool. Like the feeling of it is like a breeze when calm and it warms up when the wielder is more emotional, reaching scorching levels when emotions are very raw. I visualize it as having water properties in its shape it's not as loose as air but is still very adaptable
electricity is at its simplest merely electrons moving between atoms. this would mean that magic is a form of energy that is able to either react to or force change at an atomic level assuming that it is magic that creates physical phenomena (isekai Mahou wa okureteru) as opposed to being a type of energy that is merely magic with an added attribute of something (kumo desu ga, nani ka?). Regardless of these, I would have to say that magic itself does not have a positive/negative charge as it is more of something that responds to the will of a living being, circuit, or even just the universe itself (i.e. floating islands).
