Chapter eighty four 84: WE

It's been two weeks since adria and Lee began to date, it's been nothing but peaceful and blissful, adria had never seen herself here in a moment like this, her and another guy who wasn't Ryan sitting together staring at the fireworks explode holding each other hand, this all felt good.

It was a festive season and she spent it with Lee, he has been so loving during this few weeks and though Lei wasn't pleased with Lee's decision to court a foreigner he didn't show much of it and Lee didn't care either.

They barely parted, most times adria came to spend time with him and they do nothing but stared at each other and though Lee had boundaries adria respected them, she never goes to the third floor when she's around, she always supportive and patient she didn't know if this was maturity or self realization but she was willing to build up a beautiful relationship even if Lee's grandma was angry at Lee she didn't mind, Lee's grandma had told him not to bring adria home but apart from that Lee has been so doting towards adria, he finally stood for what he believes in even if he knew it wasn't going to be easy he was still going to try.

Adria and the lu cooperation has been doing lots of paperwork to rap up there Contract as it was due, even if Berlina barely contacted her, Adria always left voice messages for her, telling her how things were going.

Akio was also going into a new class and it was a bit hard as lately he always asked about his dad but neither Adria or Yan had heard from him since and adria chose to kill the discussion as Akios father wasn't a good man.

Adria has also noticed few movements around her, she goes to the office and it felt like someone was trailing her, she had been quiet disturbed about it as her guts has been telling her it wasn't just a feeling and she's actually being trailed, so she told Lee who didn't think much to it, he would have appointed a guard to watch over her but she already had two so he just told her not to bother as it was nothing.

Today Adria went to work, she and asachi sat together discussing about how work would be without her, they laughed and spoke about some other things, Adria even mention the weird feeling she had been noticing about someone following her, Asachi was a bit worried but she changed the topic later and brought Sofia into her conversation while they spoke asachi tried to avoid all the talk as he kept on changing the topic Adria was also looking for a way to tell him about she and Lee getting together but she had to work things out between him and Sofia before spilling the beans, seeing that ash wasn't interested in Sofia's topic she stopped pushing him as she decided to bring it up again when they were all together.

Adria made a day for she and Asachi to chill as she invited Sofia secretly.

"Do you remember when we came to this restaurant and I was speaking of how Asians were so much of racist."

"Hmm and when you told me so much about Nigeria and skipped the fact you were a celebrity over there."

Adria laughed it off and said "Time has really past hasn't it...it been two years now right."

"I think it's been more than that."

"Life is so strange, we make mistakes we learn from them, we love we hurt we heal we move on, we can't get stuck between a block even if we do, we'll always find a way, just as you can't keep trying one method and expecting to get a different results at every try."

"Why do I have a feeling that we are talking about something else."

"Ash."

"Yeah."

"You need to understand that I don't deserve your love, your so concerned about me that you don't even see the people giving there all for you."

"And who are they?."

"Sofia."

"Oh please Adria."

Immediately Sofia walked by "Hey guys ah what a pleasant surprise."

"Speak of the devil." Asachi murmured.

"Hi Sofia, you mind seating with us." adria said and Asachi gave a disapproving look but she ignored him when Sofia sat down adria turned to Asachi "You both can't keep hurting yourself like this."

"No one is hurting anyone here adria." Ash said

"You both act like you guys never meant anything to each other." adria said

"Oh please Adria." asachi said in anger

"You both need to make amends."

Asachi got angry with adria's word about making amend with Sofia "That's not ur decision to make is it."

"I know it's not but you have to understand where I'm coming from ash she's in pain."

"What do you mean she's in pain, she wasn't in pain when she was going around with Lee's friend was she?."

Both ladies were shocked how did he know.

"You both are just being inconsiderate what about me Adria huh, what about me Sofia? have you both ever paused to think of how am feeling? you both plan a meeting and think I wouldn't know or you thought I wouldn't find out why you came crying at the office huh Sofia?."

"Please Ash." adria said

"You know I was really happy about this date Adria but you just had to ruin it." he stood up and strolled out.

"Asachi! asachi come on." adria screamed but he ignored,she turned to Sofia and pressed her hands in an assuring manner "He's going to come around ok."

Sofia nodded silently as she stared at Asachi's back "Thanks for trying to help but I think we'll have to work it out ourselves, he can't stand seeing the person he loves talking to him about considering someone else."

Adria nodded in understanding without saying a word, with time Asachi will surely come around.
