Vega D. Sirus?

I really don't like this. The old grandmother lady is nice of course but Vegapunk will just stare at me for lengths of time without saying anything. I can't even see his expression because of the mask! It is so creepy that I can barely even drink from the bottle, which is very embarrassing to do since I am mentally 28 years old! I can't even count how many times I have cursed Jan in my mind for putting me in this situation!

Well I am at least no longer worried about being experiment material. After I calmed down I remember that almost everything Vegapunk did was within morals unlike Caeser. Still I am unsure what he wants with me. Well other than some embarrassing things like very little bodily control, having to drink from a bottle, and having an old woman change me, being a baby does have it's perks. One of the perks is people don't try to hide what they say around you.

So I ended up finding out that we were in the South Blue and where I was picked up was called Baterilla which sounds very familiar but I can't quite recall it. I also heard some whispers about the Pirate King Gold Roger died about two years ago. This information keeps nagging at me. I know I heard all this before I just can't remember it.

Today we stop in a town, I don't know the name of it since no one says it around me. Anyway the old woman who has been taking care of me is carrying me while following Vegapunk. Sentomaru and a few marines are also tagging along. I am not sure what is going 'AH HEY!'

I am suddenly snatched from the old lady by some guy. Ugh this guy was ugly as sin his face seemed a bit deformed "Hahaha" He laughs turning to face the marines "Alright you b*st*rds! Drop your weapons or the kid gets it!" Sentomaru looks at the ugly man "That Clay Face of the Clay Pirates. He has the Clay Clay fruit which is a logia type. Bounty 27,000,000 B" Sentomaru just list the facts without much change of expression.

"Hahah that's right. That's that scientist Vegapunk right? Hah he comes with me or else this baby dies. Clay Clay Dagger" He says holding up his hand to my neck then blinks "I said Clay clay dagger!" Again nothing happened "WHY ISN'T MY DEVIL FRUIT WORKING?!" 'Ah this is such a lame villain. Did he really just announce he couldn't activate his power?!'

Seeing the situation Sentomaru immediately strikes the man in his chest with one hand while grabbing me with the other. This would be the first time Sentomaru has touched me but he immediately looks at me strangly 'My haki feels like it is gone.' He hands me back to the old woman 'Ah it is back' Some other marines had already locked Clay Face in sea prism hand cuffs.

"Well we were going to the headquarters here anyway so might as well bring this guy back too" One of the marines state. Sentomaru is still looking at me. He reaches out and puts a hand on me trying to activate haki "It won't activate when touching him." Vegapunk walks over "What's wrong?"

"Sir this child is strange. I believe he was the reason why Clay Face's Logia didn't work. When I touch him it feels like all my haki is gone too" Vegapunk stares at me a bit then goes and gets a pair of seaprism cuffs and places them against me. I immediately feel weak.

"Devil Fruit." Vegapunk really likes keeping straight to the point. He removes the cuffs from my body "You mean he has a devil fruit that can remove the powers of anything he touches?" Vegapunk just stares thinking "Further examination. We go to marine headquarter branch here." Vegapunk doesn't seem to like talking.

'Well my devil fruit is called Void Void fruit. Perhaps it 'Voids' other devil fruit users and haki users. I will have to train more. If this has the applications I think it has then this could be a very cheaty fruit!' Is what I was thinking when we arrived at the branch. Vegapunk goes up to the desk and talks with them about something then motions the woman to come forward.

The marines take me into a different room. There is hospital equipment around. They began running some typical child test on me. Checking my weight, taking note of my hair color, eyes, drawing a little blood from me, and lastly giving me shots. From what I hear them say I have FF type blood. I think Luffy has this type.

When all is done they take a picture of me. But not thumbprints. Well I kinda expect thumb prints are useless in this world seeing as some people can change their bodies. Finally I am brought back out front. One of the Marines brings back a document. Vegapunk takes the document then looks at me. Showing me the paper "You are Vega D. Sirus. My son." The document was an adoption form and a birth certificate. 'Dr. Vegapunk is adopting me?!'

This is a little much. Suddenly the most brilliant scientist of all the One Piece world is adopting me, a child he found on the side of the street! The old woman smiles down at me "Sirus. Look at that. You have a father now, isn't it wonderful" I only release a babu like noise which they all think is confirmation that I am happy when in fact I am just very confused.

Vegapunk looks at me "Would have done so sooner. Needed to find right base. Sorry for making you wait." He talks to me. I can only think of two reasons One he knows I can understand him or two he has no idea how babies work "Dr. He can't understand you yet" Sentomaru says to the doctor. "Why not?" Vegapunk ask. A lot of the marines around us stumble 'How low is his Common sense?!' they all shout in his mind, well so do I but that's not the point.

The old woman steps up this time "Dr. A babies brain won't be able to understand most of what an adult says as they haven't learned language yet. Even if he can hear you it is only gibberish in the babies mind as they aren't developed enough yet" Vegapunk nods. "Back to ship" 'Seriously?! My new 'dad' has such low EQ!'
