chapter 2: "new life"

he wakes up suddenly 'why is the light so bright' he wondered. he then tried but failed to speak, he was currently in a women's arms with a strong muscular man standing behind her. if anyone gazed there way it would look beautiful except for the pricing black puipples in the eyes that the small infant had. he was curious as to what was going on. but could not remember till it hit him, the truck, his mother dead no longer able to make him smile every day he got home, his life which he felt was entirely unfair and confusing and lastly the unresolved anger and darkness in his heart. the two people were looking at him curiously at it was unusual for a baby to be silent after birth. so the woman turned to look at the man who seemed to be the husband asking him "john do you think our son might not be able to speak because he hasant cried not once" said the woman in confusion then john said "I don't think so Lilly look at the way ren is looking around curious if you ask me" "hmm alright maybe ren is Very talented and will go on to do great things one day" Lilly proclaimed suddenly shadows surrounded the ren of which confused him for he was the only one to see it as his new parents looked at him a dark and unrecognisable voice belonging to a shroud of darkness standing beside ren speaks to the the little boy in the cot "I am the god of darkness and I have chosen you ren as my sentinel of darkness when you are ready I shall train you as my disciple". ren looks at him with a quizzical look "I will see you soon young one". the shroud then vanishes from the sight of ren. just sat there oddly looking at the place the figure stood now what was going through his mind then it was one thought "why me"
