After the discovery that siphon crystals can be used as an energy supply, SIPHON Corp realized their mistakes in their quest to create the next-gen human.

By siphoning the energy in siphon crystals into the solar plexus of a human body, an energy core had been created.

Siphons had been classified into five groups: emitters, conjurers, augmenters, mutants, and passives.

Emitters are siphons that can manipulate their environment using energy pulses in their brain. They siphon them into spoken/written words, crystal staffs, crystal chalks, and crystal dust. They are the mages.

Conjurers are siphons who have their siphon core created using elemental siphon crystals. They can bend and control elements to their will, but they are limited to one element.

Augmenters are siphons that enhance their body with their core energy, allowing them to possess incredible strength, defense, and agility. However, their weakness lies in their limited range.

Mutants are a special type of siphon. Due to being injected with siphon beast DNA before siphonization, they can transform into alter egos of the siphon beasts.

Passives are siphons that can mentally control and communicate with siphon beasts. They can also form something called a blood contract with beasts, linking their abilities to them.

Siphons can enhance their cores by absorbing more energy from energy crystals. The power of energy cores can be determined by their color, as the color becomes purer and purer.

Not long after the creation of siphons, portal gates to Earth had been created, along with hunter guilds with the goal of hunting siphon beasts for siphon crystals to run the city.

A hunter academy had also been created to educate and train teenagers aspiring to become hunters.

Inputting a new text into the search bar, Xadia proceeded to order new clothes. He then placed the payment card on the screen to be scanned.

"Payment transaction complete."

The holo top then lit up green, and after that, a new pair of clothing was hovering by the screen, as if it had teleported.

Changing into his new glowing blue-striped shirt and trousers, Xadia moved to the living room.

"Do you like your new clothes?" Gwen asked.

"Yes, it's comfortable, thank you," Xadia said as he gave Gwen her card back.

"It's nothing. So have you decided to stay?"

"I'll be staying for the night, but I'll be on my way tomorrow, as soon as I find a way to contain my pod."

"I can help with that. I can siphon a dimension bracelet for you."

"Thank you. You're an emitter, right?"

"Yes."

"That's cool," Xadia said with a smile.

"I got you a juice box. Here," Gwen gestured.

Taking a sip of the juice, Xadia's eyes widened. It was the sweetest thing he had ever tasted. Soon, Xadia had gotten to the bottom of the carton and had started to slurp away.

Suddenly, Xadia felt a tingling sensation in his stomach. It was as if something was growing in it.

"My stomach. It's like I've eaten a three-course meal."

Due to the mutation of the earth, humans had lost their source of food they now relied on artificially created food and food additives to make beast meat more palatable for consumption.

"Ric's gone out for his shift and he said I should give you this,"

Gwen's hands were now glowing blue, and out of thin air, a pair of blue hover sneakers had appeared.

"Miss ford I can't thank you enough, I'm very grateful," Xadia said with a smile plastered on his face.

"Don't thank me, thank Ric," Gwen said with flushed cheeks.

"Go to bed now it's late," Gwen said as she left the room.

Heading back to his room, Xadia had gone back to the holo top to check up on something

Searching on the web, Xadia had found what he was looking for, a hunter academy for teenagers aspiring to become hunters

Looking at the school application form, xadia was bewildered, thirty credits had been issued for the application form.

"Thirty freaking thousand," Xadia couldn't help but blurt out

Well it's a new world, new money problems too xadia sighed.

Shutting off the holo top, Xadia moved to the bed to get a good night's sleep.

Waking up from the bed Xadia was puzzled at the sudden change of scenery.

There wasn't a glowing crystal on the ceiling anymore, there was now somewhat of an opaque glass that replaced the walls of the room, and the sun beamed right through the windows, there was now a room that looked like a shower room.

The only exception to the change was the bed, the pod, and the holo top.

Quickly getting undressed xadia moved to the bathroom, there was a shower-like device fixed to the wall and a button below it, clicking on the button a liquid jell dropped down on xadia

It had completely overwhelmed him, and in a panic, Xadia ran out of the bathroom

Suddenly the jell-like liquid began to evaporate and in a few seconds, Xadia was as clean as a whistle.

"What a weird way to have a bath"

"Oh Xadia are you awake," a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Yes!", "I'm coming," Xadia shouted

Quickly putting on his cloth Xadia opened the door

"Good morning Mrs ford".

"Morning Xadia, how was your night".

"It was fine, thank you".

"I have the dimension bracelet I told you about, I just finished it," Gwen said with a glowing blue bracelet in her hands.

"So you just point it to the item," Gwen demonstrated with her hand aiming for the pod.

"Possesius".

The pod had vanished.

"So here you go"

"I'm not a siphon I don't think I can do that"

"Don't worry I just need to link it to your mind".

"Aurea linkus," Gwen said placing her hand on xadia's forehead.

"To bring the pod out you just think about the pod reappearing and say possesius, you can also do this for all other items".

"I guess now you're good to go, there's a pack of currel and a water bottle in the bracelet you can take it when you're hungry".

"How can she be so nice to me," Xadia thought

"Thank you, this means a lot mrs ford"

"Well then, shall I escort you to the door"

"What about uncle Alaric".

"He's still on his shift, I informed him about your plan to leave early today, so he's okay, you don't need to worry about him".

"Okay let's go".

Stepping out of the apartment Xadia could now see it.

The entire building had changed, there was now a staircase at the entrance, and the building had shifted into a more earthly type of building like the one he remembered.

The same could be said for all the other city buildings, the road wasn't glowing anymore, and there were no floating crystals on the skyscrapers, it all looked earth-like.

"If you ever need a job here's an address to one of Ric's friend's shop, he's a beast weapon forger, and he says he could use an extra pair of hands," Gwen said as she gave xadia a glowing blue card

"Thank you for your hospitality, my regards to uncle Ric when he comes back Xadia said, he then waved goodbye.

"What a wonderful couple," Xadia said now out of the Fords compound.

"Where to," He thought as he looked at the sun.
