Last gasp.

Just like Tyson had said it was a very big day yesterday, Xadia had been introduced to the new advanced game system in this era and it was an amazing experience, so amazing that Xadia was on his way to the arcade right now.

He had gotten up early to have another amazing experience today, after telling Tyson his plans he was shocked that his energetic roommate wasn't sharing the same plans with him today, but that didn't stop Xadia from moving on with his plans.

He soon reached the arcade, and he pushed through the warping wall, Xadia wasn't going for Tyson's favorite today, he had his mind set on another game he saw yesterday, and Xadia made his way to the sports area of the arcade, going to the cylindrical receptacle game he soon signed up for a match,it was five thousand credits but it was worth it.

It was now xadia's turn for a match, it was a match of ten players, five players per team but before beginning the match, one would then move to a special box area to get equipped for the match.

Entering the box area a holographic screen projected on the air listing out the game merch, there were different type of suits one could use, but Xadia couldn't afford them and he had chosen the normal free suit-up.

The box then transformed into a massage-like chair of the past and sitting on the chair, a green glowing like nano band was starting to imprint on his clothing and body, it ran from his sneakers up to his neck before nanotech bots had begun to form into a headgear fitting onto his head.

The chair then transformed back to its usual self, and Xadia could see all his suit stats, it had an oxygen level that was up to seventy percent relative to a hundred,a launching feature was also created on the feet, it also had a communication feature for communicating with teammates and a player name was assigned to each player.

And his player name was Spyce and it was smeared on his chest, after reading all the stats on the suit, the instructions of the game soon came up, there were three ring modes, the first ring was an antigravity ring where the match would start, the second ring was a multigravity ring it would pull players down making it hard to move to the third ring, the third ring was a reverse gravity ring that launches the player upward out of the ring receptacle, a quick goal to the hoop is needed here, and even with special gravity boots one could score without been thrown out, the goal was one score to win.

Moving to the receptacle a glowing green line could be seen on the floor dividing the two teams opposite each other, and a green ball could be seen floating in the air above the two teams.

The countdown soon begin as the players got on their three's ready to counter the antigravity field, there was a game formation,one player in the front,two in the middle behind the first player, and two at the back.

The players then launched at the ball in the air as the timer striked zero a computer sound following after, fighting through the antigravity field with a special jumping boot the opposition team had made it to the floating ball propelling to the wall afterward.

The ball was reacting to the special force around the glowing nano band on the players footwear, it had a force that kept the ball within the players presence,it would attract and repel at every touch from the players foot.

Now on the wall the opposition team had started to run upward heading for the goal hoop, Xadia then launched himself up to the wall as he followed his team mates with the chase.

One of Xadia's team mates boot then shot a force of energy with his boots, going through the antigravity field making him fast enough to reach the player with the ball, he then delivered a blow knocking the player downwards, he then propelled to the other wall going for the opposition's hoop.

The way the game was like , Xadia could call it a futuristic rugby game, the game play everything was almost identical to the rugby sport.

"Spyce I need defense". Neal's voice echoed in Xadia's suit, and launching himself to the other wall Xadia had gotten right up behind the player that was chasing after Neal. He then pulled him into the anti gravity field before using his opponents body to launch himself back to the wall.

Neal soon reached the second ring and he was using every strength in his legs to run while kicking the ball upward as he ran towards the next ring. Although this was a gravity pulled ring,one could still play the ball upward, the ball wasn't reacting to the force of the field it was completely invulnerable to the field.

For some time now the other three team mates of Xadia had been keeping the other opposition players busy,but they couldn't hold on much longer, the players were ice siphon users and they had thrown ice spikes at Xadia's team damaging their suit and depriving them of oxygen, luckily the game system had a way of detecting oxygen levels and the suits had automatically remove them from the receptacle.

Now the two opposing players where coming upward and he knew he needed to do something about them, running into the second ring Xadia then launched himself upward and he was being pulled back downwards, kicking the air he then activated his Cr5 sneakers and had began to push the field.

"Are you open, Spyce". Neal said

"No, keep going I have a plan, don't stop for nothing"

Xadia eventually reached the end of the second ring, pushing back to the wall he then positioned himself vertically upside down making him look downward to his targets.

Confirming his targets he then launched himself downwards and the forcefield of the second ring was aiding him in his quest, crashing and holding onto one of the rival team, Xadia continued his projectile, he the moved himself to the side enough to crash into his second victim.

The impact of his cratch to his other victim was enough to damage all their suits, but it was worth it ,a ping sound resonated in the receptacle confirming that his team had won the match.

Making his way to the arcade, Tyson was finally ready to join his spirited game loving friend, he had a reason for not joining him in the morning but he wasn't going to miss the evening fun.

Suddenly a wall of earth rose from the ground blocking his partway, looking backwards, Tyson could see his killjoy of the day, he could see four second year students ten meters away from him, and he knew what would happen next.

Xadia was going to go above the fray today, and he had began to run away from the group, although he had defeated them the last time, he was sure they were ready for him this time.

Looking back to see the group he couldn't see them, he had failed to concentrate on where he was going and he had crashed into the group he was looking for,they had brought an extra man today, and as luck would have it, the extra could travel space.

Now on his butt he could see the group towing against him, and they had begin to hit at him, kicking and kneeing as they dealt with a notorious serial.

The attacks were too much and Tyson was slowly losing consciousness,and at the last gasp, he then clasped onto his amulet his eyes burning with fury.
