Lina took a taxi home after work, in order to save some time and change her clothes before going shopping.
When she got home, she was met by Yanlin locking up the store.
"Why are you closing early?" she asked him as they both crossed the street and headed straight for their building.
"Dad called and told me to attend dinner, he's making such a big deal about Mrs.Kim's daughter. I'm telling you Lina, dad is gonna marry that old woman and we'll have a step-sister living with us!"
Lina laughed and hit him playfully, "Well maybe having some female energy in the home would be a good thing. You might finally have some shame and pick up your dirty laundry."
He stuck out his tongue and unlocked the apartment door.
Mrs.Kim and Mr.Liang sat chatting happily with a young woman at the small dining table.
The girl was pretty, with shoulder-length reddish-brown dyed hair and bangs. Her makeup was well done and she was dressed in a cute floral dress and knee-high brown boots.
