Lina watched wide-eyed as his large hands slid into her lap and scooped up the sleepy girl.
He carried her effortlessly over his shoulder and nodded his head, "Can you get the backpack?"
Lina quickly grabbed Julie's bag and her own bag and followed them out.
The corridors were dark and the floors slightly wet from being cleaned. Lina checked the time and realized that she had fallen asleep for hours!
They took the private elevator down to the parking lot and Will placed Julie carefully in the back, resting her legs across the seats.
"Ride in the front," he said opening the passenger door for Lina.
Lina didn't really want to go with them, it was getting late but she did want to speak to him.
She got in and buckled her seatbelt, setting her bag down between her feet.
He checked the mirror and adjusted the driver's seat, pulling it back further to make room for his long legs.
"Sometimes the driver takes the car," he explained, "He always forgets to readjust the seat."
