Seimeigakure: The Hidden Village of Life

With no other choice, I founded the Hidden Village of Life and became the first Seimeikage. The other Great Ninja Villages: Envy! Tsunade: I thought I was a pioneer in medicine, now I know I still have a lot to learn. Orochimaru: My experiments make me look like a novice playing with a vinegar volcano compared to him. Jiraya: Why didn't I know a place like this existed?! -------------------------------------------------- I do not own Naruto or any other universe that will appear except the MC. The cover has been generated by an AI after many attempts based on my drawing. If you like Naruto fanfics, check out my previous work: "A ninja who is always hungry".

The Other Side of the Coin

(Someone in the comments requested to know what happened to the other person with whom Enel had the initial exchange by mistake in the fanfiction. I thought it was an interesting idea, so here we go.)

This is not cool. It's not at all how I imagined it back when they told me I was going to another world.

I asked to become Enel (an OP version) where I could basically do whatever I wanted to the world I would be sent to. Without Haki or weaknesses related to the sea, I would be a damn god. But now, it turns out that due to some error, someone got my new body, and I got theirs.

The body of a young, ordinary person!

I feel so dirty right now...

It's not even the breathtakingly attractive type that makes all women gasp with just one look, making them follow my every command unconditionally. What a waste.

I cursed that person who asked for something as common as two hours after realizing it, only calming down when I realized they didn't seem to be able to do anything, and at least that idiot had the decency to ask for some special abilities.

I'd settle if I had something like absolute mind control to enslave anyone without limits or rewrite reality to get what I want with a hand gesture—basic stuff.

(That sounded so much like a Chinese MC; all that was missing was asking for a palace of gold and jade with an immortal empress, twenty eternally young lovers, and five thousand concubines of all races.)

I checked the abilities and was left speechless because it was not what I wanted at all.

Only a healthy body that is not afraid of diseases?

It doesn't even include things like perfect instant regeneration, total immunity to poisons, unlimited stamina, or having no limits to getting stronger!

At least I don't have to worry about catching weird things when I have fun...

I rubbed my face with frustration for having an ability requested by a newbie who knows nothing about isekais, I have no doubt.

A high-quality transforming farming tool?

That would explain why I'm dressed like a country bumpkin; it seems that whoever asked for these things only wanted a painfully dull life instead of being interesting.

I kept looking at the list, which was also quite short. Forget about reaching a thousand or a hundred abilities; it didn't even reach the ten-mark.

They were exactly the same case as the previous ones—abilities that make everything easier or more convenient but haven't even scratched their full potential. It seems like they settled for just the essentials.

They are so full of untapped potential that it hurts my eyes to look at them.

I guess I'll be the transmigrator who has to learn the hard way about the powers of this world and use my knowledge as a modern person to become so OP that there will come a day when I forget that I have these pitiful abilities.

I explored and advanced carefully, trying to find a path or a city—anything that would become my starting point on the journey to fulfill my wildest dreams.

After three hours of walking, I reached two conclusions.

First: This clothing isn't as stupid as it looks; at least I can move comfortably, it seems resistant, and my feet don't hurt.

Second: I hit the jackpot, and it seems to be a medieval-type world, so I'm lucky on triple counts.

I won't have to visit those torturers, blacksmiths, and executioners who call themselves doctors, and I can "invent" a bunch of simple things to make money until I become disgustingly rich. I just need to learn what forces exist, the local values, and how backward they are compared to my brilliant mind. From there, I can start hatching my plans for this world.

Moreover, there's a high probability that they have something like magic or monsters.

I hope they have the equivalent of magical internet; otherwise, I'm going to get very bored. Medieval worlds usually don't have high-quality entertainment, and the best there usually is are jesters with bad jokes or boring plays.

Wait, does slavery exist?

I hope so; buying some slaves could be a good initial workforce for my projects, and if they have those magic crests to control their life and death, that would be even better. Plus, if they have some cute slave girls...

What am I saying? There are always cute slave girls.

I managed to find a village, and luck seems to be on my side, as it should be thanks to my identity as a transmigrator. The clothing I wore doesn't stand out, and I understand everything people say, so I can eavesdrop while investigating the market.

I don't see signs of magic, but it's highly likely that I have to investigate the nobles to find something of that sort. At least now I know it's not as common as for everyone to use it, and I like that.

I just have to learn a bit about it, and my status will skyrocket, making these yokels around me bow down to me.

Mmm, too bad; I've looked through the market from top to bottom and didn't see any slave sellers.

Oh, of course, I suppose there must be something like a hidden black market, and that's where these deals are made. But even so, I didn't see anyone who looked like a slave...

They probably don't use them to go shopping for groceries but more for heavy tasks, like sending them to a mine or something.

I also paid special attention to the products, and although there are plenty of fruits and vegetables I've never seen before, thanks to my abilities, I know how to grow them in high quality. But I didn't see anything resembling something from a monster.

Could there be a Guild that has a monopoly on everything related to monsters? Now, that would be interesting!

...

Two days have passed, and I'm starting to worry.

It turns out that the guards aren't there to stop murderers or thieves but in case some animal escapes from the cages and they need help.

People don't have a concept of slaves or wars; they find stealing to be very ugly and prefer to take a fair loan. The term of murder made them think I had a fever and was delirious.

Why would they kill a person when they can talk civilly?

It was then that I felt it.

My dreams of greatness, countless women at my feet, wealth to crush a nation, and obtaining absolute power crumbled like a sandcastle.

What kind of sickeningly peaceful world did I end up in, and why would anyone wish for this nightmare?
