CHAPTER 3 - LOST ME

Dave didn't expect that he would get a question like this from Ginny. He never would have thought that Ginny would realize his affair so quickly.

"Haha, forget it." Ginny laughed as she got up from her seat and headed for the large walk-in closet in her room. "I'm just kidding, you wouldn't be able to do that, would you?" Ginny said again.

Ginny realized one thing when she saw the look on Dave's face that looked surprised at the question she had just asked. But she tried to cover it up by not wanting to discuss it further. Now, she chooses to sleep and hopes that tomorrow things will return to normal.

Unfortunately, it feels like the world really is no longer on his side. Ginny found the decision of the contract to cancel the shares of the best shareholders belonging to The Royal.

The staff of The Royal also want to make Ginny leave her position as leader and owner of The Royal. But, is not Ginny if she doesn't fight to the last drop of blood that she has.

Ginny auctioned off her luxury house at a price that was relatively much cheaper than the market price. Month after month passed, right on the month of The Royal' anniversary, Ginny managed to find a buyer who would buy her house.

"You're really going to sell your house to fund The Royal?" Ivanka asked with a serious face.

Ginny nodded her head quickly and then walked to meet the person who was going to buy the house.

Resigned, Ivanka let go of Ginny's arm and let Ginny make up her mind.

"I've bought a small apartment just down the road, you don't have to worry about where I live," Ginny said after she finished the handover with the notaries and also the buyer of her luxury home.

"Dave knows?" Ivanka asked curiously. Ivanka was sure that Dave would never want to live in a small house especially at the end of a narrow street that was far different from the house they lived in before.

"I told him I thought he would understand, after all I have to save The Royal first so I can give Dave and Fiona the life they deserve."

"You're not the breadwinner of the family? Why do you have to do all this alone, when the man you love so much ... he ..." again Ivanka couldn't continue her words when it came to Dave and the betrayal he committed to Ginny.

"Oh, never mind. If you have free time better help me tidy up the whole apartment I just bought," said Ginny, ignoring Ivanka's thoughts about Dave.

"Seriously, you even sold your entire house to that buyer? Did you meet that buyer? Who?" Ivanka bombarded Ginny with all kinds of questions.

"He-em, I met him," Ginny answered briefly because she was starting to busy tidying up the clothes she was going to bring to her new apartment.

"Fiona, what about her?" Ivanka asked again.

"My little girl is still fine, after all she's only 4 years old and she understands quite well that she's going to be living in a smaller place than this for a while," Ginny said.

"Much smaller and..." Ivanka stopped when she didn't see Dave anywhere. "Where's Dave? He's not helping you?"

Ginny just smiled. "He has work to do," Ginny replied then.

ELDRICH APARTEMENT

"I can't work in this cramped, shabby room," Dave grumbled in annoyance.

"Hold on, just a little while until the Royal stabilize and I can buy us a new house," Ginny said.

She could no longer find Dave who was warm and caring to her. Throughout the day he only found Dave who was often rude and cold. No one understands the hard work she is doing, what sacrifices she gives to give the best for her family.

"Can't we just get a divorce?" Dave asked suddenly.

"Divorced? You want to separate from me after all this?" Ginny didn't answer Dave's question and just gave Dave another question.

"Forget it, I'm tired and wish it was all a dream." Dave said then left and left Ginny and Fiona alone.

"We just lived here, and you're already complaining like this?" Ginny asked in a tone that was quite loud because Dave had already left her face.

Ginny carried Fiona who was now whining for milk and her favorite snack. Now, she really takes care of Fiona alone without a nanny who used to help him all day long.

Of course, Ginny couldn't afford a nanny to help her look after Fiona. Morning to evening while she worked, Ivanka helped him look after Fiona. The rest is Ginny herself who takes care of Fiona while taking care of The Royal' files and dealing with Dave's attitude which is changing day by day.

"Starting tonight I will leave this place," Dave who had just returned from outside surprised Ginny who was feeding Fiona. Ginny could clearly see that Dave had openly brought the cheap woman he had been dating in front of him. Even the woman seemed to look down on him from head to toe.

Not saying a word, Ginny hurriedly picked up Fiona and carried her into the room. She did not want his only daughter to see the indecent sight that her father did with another woman who was not her mother.

"You just need to sign our divorce papers, okay?" Dave said again as he watched Ginny come back out of the room.

As if her defenses were really breaking down, Ginny lowered her gaze. She held his hands that were already clenched into fists and his body was now shaking.

"Wait!" Ivanka held Ginny's arm to reassure Ginny of this.

"I have to sell my house to pay all the salaries of The Royals staff and fund The Royal. I've even lost the shareholders ..." Ginny said quickly. "If not from me, then how can The Royal survive?" Ginny continued.
