The Earth Realm was divided into the Divine Sea Formation stage, the Core Formation stage, and the True Core Formation Stage.

This was also the stage where a cultivator decided their own path.

The Divine Sea was just the accumulation of spiritual qi to a terrifying level. The Qi would condense to the point of liquifying and it was closely related to the Foundation Establishment Realm.

The Core Formation was just compressing the Divine Sea to form a core that stored and controlled the Spiritual Qi in the body. It was also at this point that the advantages brought about by talent started to be glaringly obvious.

The True Core Formation Stage was related to the path a cultivator could walk in the future.

Those who walked the path of Daoism would inscribe their Core with Daoist Runes and Techniques to make a Daoist True Core. The stronger the runes and techniques inscribed, the stronger the true core and the power it could mobilize.

Swordsmen would form a sword core and its strength was related to their sword techniques and sword comprehension.

It was the same for Buddhists and Confucianists.

Then came the Heaven Realm which was divided into the Soul Condensation Realm, the Nascent Soul Formation Realm, and the Dao Body Formation Realm.

The Heaven Realm to put it simply is an extended version of the True Core Formation Realm. Only in the Heaven Realm what a cultivator does is inscribe the Dao to the soul and body, combining them to form a Dao Body.

The Soul Condensation Realm is when the cultivator gathers his spirit to refine and condense a soul. Depending on the technique and the Dao cultivator practices, the soul takes different forms.

Sword Cultivators form a Sword Soul while a Buddhist forms a Buddha Soul Avatar. Confucians condense and refine the Great Spirit but Confucianism strays from then on and takes a whole other path.

The Nascent Soul Realm is just the nurturing and tempering of the soul or spirit. Most Nascent Souls develop like a fetus and when they grow to 'adulthood', a cultivator breaks through to the Dao Body Formation realm.

The Dao Body is a body that has been refined and tempered by the Dao. It is at this time that the initial path of a cultivator reaches a major threshold. Cultivation is in essence the refining, tempering, and nurturing of the Essence, Energy, and Spirit.

In the Dao Body Formation Realm, the three 'flowers' gather and condense to one, leaving behind mortal coils and preparing for immortality.

This is also the stage where one affirms their Dao and the strength one wields in this stage depends on the quality and quantity of one's comprehended Dao.

The Immortal Realm comes after the Heaven Realm.

The longest realm on the path to cultivation. It is also the hardest.

The Immortal Realm is divided into the Human World Immortal, where a peak Dao Body Cultivator Comprehends a law of a higher level and manages to draw immortal Qi for cultivation.

The Great Desolate might have Immortal Qi lingering, but it is a scarce resource and its density makes it hard to draw for cultivation.

The effort put into using Immortal Qi to cultivate is not worth the returns. It's only in places like his residence where Immortal Qi gathers everywhere. It is almost impossible for an Itinerate Cultivator to have enough Immortal Qi to reach the realm of Immortals.

Ascension Immortals come right after. This is actually not a realm but a name for those who ascend from lower worlds to the ascension pool and into the spiritual transformation pool. But there are only a Dozen such pools in the Great Desolate.

Most powers in the Great Desolate lack spare Immortal Qi to maintain them for outsiders to benefit. But Beyond the Heaven and Earth Barrier, it is said that these pools are scattered everywhere. It makes one wonder what happened for it to be set up in the first place.

The Void Immortals come after that and that is where Prime Minister Wen is now.

Void Immortals have enough power to traverse the void and travel in the void at their leisure. They also open a void or space in their bodies to form a world. This world stores Immortal Qi, and it is possible to nurture Heaven and Earth treasures.

The more a cultivator understands the Great Dao, the more realistic and rich their inner world will be. And when the world fully materializes, they would step into the True Immortal Realm.

True Immortals are said to have a direct connection to the Great Dao and are ageless and undying. If they die, their Inner World would integrate with the Great Dao and they would have a chance of reincarnation if they did not get devoured and assimilated with the Dao.

Then came the Golden Immortals, Heaven Immortals, Heaven Golden Immortals, Zenith Immortals, Zenith Heaven Immortals, Dao Lords, and Dao Ancestors. As for what they were, even Minister Wen did not know.

Wen Qi was also too lazy to think about it. It was too far away.

What Wen Qi had in mind, was to nurture everybody from the Body Refinement Realm to the Peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm.

It was indeed a bit too ambitious for him but what was wrong with that? There were billions of races in the Great Desolate, but it was still the Great Desolate.

The lands beyond the Heaven and Earth Barrier were more prosperous than anything on this side. There were more living beings there and great forces were everywhere.

Void Immortals were in the billions and there were even Dao Ancestors. At least that was what his father told him.

And it was precisely because of this that Wen Qi was so generous.

Cultivation is a struggle against the Heavens and the resources that could nurture billions of Void immortals were endless. It would not do for him to have lesser numbers when he eventually crossed the barrier in the future.

It was also a way of establishing the Sect. A sect rich enough to support everyone in the Great Desolate ought to have enough wealthy and better treatment for talents and those with high cultivation, no?
