First Seal of Earth Ch-8

"What is happening?" Suddenly, a golden light started to emit from the bracelet. With a flash, I disappeared from the room. The room became silent and serene as if there was nothing there. There was a bed beside the window, covered with a black bedsheet, and the unique type of carving language on the bracelet was now glowing blue.

After a while, Yan, Huan, and Mei arrived at Yan's house. "Aah... finally the mission ended," Mei said, and they all rested in Yan's house. Yan soon realized that Ari had neither appeared in front of her nor responded to her voice since she arrived. "I'll excuse myself for a while," she said anxiously.

She started searching for Ari, but she couldn't find her. The more time passed, the more anxious she became. Mei and Huan noticed her anxiety and asked, "Did something happen?"

As I look down at the jade in my hand, I could feel the overwhelming power emanating from it. This was the first of the ten artifacts that I needed to collect to rebuild the seal on Earth's power source. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and began to attach the jade to the bracelet on my wrist.

Suddenly, everything around me started to blur and fade away. I felt like I was being sucked into a vortex of energy, and then everything went black.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying on a luxurious bed in a strange room. Everything around me was different from what I was used to. The furniture was ornate, the walls were covered in intricate designs, and the room had an air of opulence that I had never experienced before.

As I tried to sit up, I noticed a woman sitting beside me, holding my hand. She was an elegant lady, with delicate features and long, black hair that flowed down her back. When she saw me awake, tears welled up in her eyes, and she hugged me tightly.

"Thank goodness you're awake," she said, her voice shaking with emotion. "I was so worried about you."

I was confused and disoriented, but as I looked around the room, I started to piece together what had happened. I remembered attaching the jade to my bracelet, and then everything went dark. It was as if I had been transported to a different world.
