Catherine's POV

When James said the name Amanda, I believed it.

Although I did not seem to believe him.

When he dialed the number, I was super nervous. I hoped that she would not answer but at the same time, I wished she would.

This was a very complicated feeling. I didn't know how to explain it.

When it showed that it was an empty number, although I looked very angry, I actually felt a little disappointed in my heart.

James was not discouraged. He promised, "I will definitely find her. Wait for me."

He walked around my office, constantly calling people, looking anxious.

I looked at his anxious appearance and felt a little distressed. I guessed that he was not lying.

My intuition told me that Amanda should be real.

I thought of the conversation with Monica before. What if it was true?
