Catherine's POV

I looked at Amanda. "Sorry, I really don't remember."

She gave me a hug. "Don't worry, sister. When you remember, call me at any time. It's already a very lucky thing that we met again."

I was like a younger sister in front of her instead.

Just when I was about to give her a hug, she let go of me. "I'll leave first. Contact me when you have time."

She walked past me enchantingly and retreated. "Oh, by the way, I forgot to answer James' question. Yes, we met at the bar that night. I saw him drunk and sent him to the nearby hotel. Of course, nothing happened."

When she said this, she glanced at James, "Am I right? My dear brother-in-law?"

I looked at James, who nodded awkwardly. "Of course."

James and I watched her leave. He put his arm around my shoulder. "Maybe we should call your parents and ask them."

"Yes, I will do it now."

"Let's leave this place first."
