The long run

The teenage years haven't been pleasant my first boyfriend was emotionally abusive, it ended pretty quickly he keep trying to be my friend, but no way. I don't need in my life again I ended up going to a talent show at the high school, I got there last minute and the final act was starting I could barely contain my excitement. I haven't really been here long I saw some real talent his magic trick was awesome after that it was over and of course my ex was there asking, " Do you need a ride?" I said,"No my ride is coming." then he left I wasn't surprise. I heard running saw my childhood friend Dalin and his friend I picked up the frog and he said it was his so I handed it back to him. He was silent like one of those old films silent I just said, "Hey." Dalin asked me for a ride I said,"sure." My mom arrived I was looking at my message while they rode in the back I heard my phone beep Dalin asked,"Would I go out with his friend?"
