Nirvana fire fueled upon soul energy and qi to burns, so it does not mean they were physical damage and can be notice right away. It's tricky to treat Nirvana Fire's damage, because if not treat immediately the wounds can destroyed meridians and successfully cripple any cultivators-- immortal or not.
