Today is the day that the tournament ends. I would like to say that breakfast was quiet and relaxing but it wasn't. Let's just say that everyone knew the princess and I had a date last night. Princess Aella was red-faced the entire morning as everyone asked how our time was last night. I could have sworn my mother was starting to treat her like her daughter already. After getting questioned by my parents and the beast king about my date yesterday, I went straight to the coliseum to get ready for the tournament.

When I arrived at the coliseum, I was met with a crowded arena. Not only that, the outside of the coliseum was flooded with people hoping to get a seat. Once they were told that there were no more seats, they decided to camp outside the coliseum. I guess they want to be close so that can hear who won. The problem with so many people crowding in a single area is the possibility of fights and discord. Seeing this may happen, I order the city guards to dispatch some men and women to supervise the crowd. I can't have riots starting because I didn't send some guards to police the people.

"The time is finally here! The time when I get to come before you all and announce the last match of this historical tournament. This match will decide who truly is the strongest in our great kingdom." I announce as I appear in a burst of fire with Nova attached time my shoulder. The crowd roars in excitement at my appearance as always. "Without any further a-due, allow me to introduce our two contenders."

With a snap of my fingers, Souei appears from my shadow. He looks casual about the whole thing and doesn't seem to be nervous at all. The crowd takes his expression as a sign of overconfidence. After all, in their minds, he's only here because he was lucky enough to draw the short straw. Of course, this isn't true as I know that he's probably the strongest person on the surface of this continent. I can't speak for that city in the dungeons that Souei is investigating, but I don't have a good feeling about it.

"Our first contender is Souei. Not many have heard about him, but he's someone very close to me. He's been my loyal bodyguard for some years now and I wish him the best of luck in his match. He is a shadow mage at rank 90." I announce as I gesture towards Souei.

Souei stands there without much care in the world. The crowd cheers but some are booing as well. The majority of the crowd has already chosen Delilah as the favorite for winning. Her last fight gave the crowd an amazing show of her power, and they haven't seen much from Souei. That's mainly because in his last match he won without much fanfare.

"Alright, simmer down!" I exclaim and the crowd goes quiet almost immediately.

I snap my fingers yet again and Lady Delilah appears in the arena. One of Souei's clones is in her shadow and teleported her in. I thought that since this is the last match they should make an entrance as well. I can't be the only one with cool entrances. The clone has already left her shadow and won't be participating in the match.

"The second contestant and the favorite to win if you're a betting man or woman. Lady Delilah Rothman. She's been an integral part of this kingdom for many years, and I also wish her the best of luck in her match. She's a water mage at rank 94." I announce and the crowds roars become deafening.

Delilah stares at Souei with an unyielding will to win. Souei himself merely glances at her as if she some stranger he's passing on the street. This enrages Delilah as her glare becomes more and more menacing. The crowd seems to have picked up on this and their excitement multiplies by the second.

"This match will have the same rules as every other match before it. I will be watching closely, but I don't foresee either of you breaking any rules. When I disappear that's your cue to begin the match. Are you both ready?" I ask and look between both of them.

After getting a nod from both Delilah and Souei, Fire engulfs my body and I vanish. With the signal given the match is now underway. I appear at my usual balcony where my family is seated. Although, the Bestia royal family has joined us today, and Princess Aella has been seated next to me. *sigh* This is probably the work of our parents. I can't worry about this now, as I have to officiate the match.

In the arena, neither side has made a single move in the other. Lady Delilah is searching for an opening to strike out at Souei. She's slowly noticing that there are no openings and that is making her nervous. Even Amelia showed an opening while they fought. How is it possible that she can see no ways to attack this man? The answer to her question lurked in the confines of her mind, but she chose to either not listen or believe. That answer is quite simple. This man is far stronger than her.

The reason Souei hasn't attacked is quite simple as well. I ordered him to not end the match so soon. These people came to see a match that decided the strongest in the kingdom, and if he wins so easily they would be disappointed.

After a staredown that lasted almost a minute, Delilah couldn't take it anymore and dashed forward. If she saw no openings, then she would have to make them herself. Water engulfs her form and she now has the qualities of a fighter. With her newfound strength and speed, she rushes at Souei and strikes out at him in a flurry of attacks. Punches, kicks, uppercuts, jabs, and anything you could imagine. Each strike falling short of its target as Souei dodges with relative ease.

With every attack dodged, Delilah and the crowd start wondering if Souei is a fighter. He isn't using any magic and yet he's dodging every move at the speed of an expert fighter with ease. That answer in the back of Delilah's mind that she ignored is becoming louder and louder by the second.

'He's stronger than me.'
