A man walks up to you and drop kicks you in the chest. As you fall on the ground, he kicks you in the ribs multiple times. After beating you half to death, he steals your power stones and runs away. Enjoy the chapter.)

"Huh? Who's the kid?"

I turn around and see a bear of a man looking in our direction. Not a Demi-human with bear features, but a man so big and hairy that you could only describe him as a bear. He's holding a mug of ale in one hand and a pipe in the other. Based on the dank smell in the room, I'd say he's smoking cannabis. I guess weed is popular in this world? Maybe there's no tobacco in this world, or no one has discovered that it's smokable yet. The man seems to be wasted drunk and higher than the clouds. We ignore the man and make our way to the reception desk near the front door along the side of the wall.

"I'm here to speak to the Guild Master would you get him for me?" I ask the cute brunette receptionist. The bear-man seems to get annoyed that I've ignored him and makes his way towards us, but not before downing some more of his ale.

"I'm sorry, but the Guild Master is busy right now, but I can help you if you need anything." The brunette says with a kind smile. The rest of the room is trying to figure out how I appeared out of nowhere.

"Hey kid, how'd you appear like that?" The drunk bear asks as he stomps up to us.

"Magic." I simply say.

"Hahaha!" He laughs holding his stomach. "Your funny, kid. Of course, it's magic. What I'm asking is what kind of magic was it?" He says and takes a hit of his pipe.

"Hey, stop bothering the kid!" The receptionist orders sternly, but something weird happens. The man bear jumps into the air in fright and looks at the brunette receptionist with fear.

"Sorry, Mam!" He cowers and retreats back to his mug of ale. Huh, that was anticlimactic. I thought it was going to be like one of those story's where the main character goes to the guild and gets harassed, but beats the harasser and impresses everyone.

"What did you need, Sweetie?" She asks with a warm smile. Am I supposed to ignore the fact that she scared off that guy so easily? Is she some secret high-rank adventurer that works the desk?

"I have a file that needs to be delivered to the Guild Master personally," I say and she thinks for a moment.

"Well, that's going to be hard, since the Guild Master is in a meeting right now. Is it urgent?" She asks.

"I would say so, yes." I reply.

"Would you mind showing me the file? If I find the contents to be truly urgent, then we'll go and crash the meeting together." She offers.

"Souei, give her one of the copies." I say and he pulls a file out of thin air. He then hands it to her as a shocked expression graces her face. It disappears almost immediately. Since she saw us teleported here. Pulling a file out of nowhere isn't as impressive as you yourself appearing out of nowhere. She takes the file and flicks through it.

"Oh my god." She mutters and drops the file onto her desk.

"Yeah, that's how most would react." I nod.

"This is bad." She says.

"Yup." I nod again.

"I can't believe this is happening." She mutters. "How did you come upon this information anyway?" She asks.

"My mother told me to deliver it here for her. She's busy at the moment, so I thought, why not? I've never been to the adventurers guild before." I explain.

"Who's your mother?" She asks.

"Her name's Astrid." I inform. I purposefully leave out her last name and titles. It's fun to mess with people, and I want to see how long it takes them to find out who I am.

"Hmm, I know a couple of Astrids." She says. Wow, I guess mom's name isn't that original. "That's not important right now, though. We need to inform the Guild Master immediately!" She picks up the file and rushes off to the back of the guild.

"Does she want us to follow her?" I ask my servants and they simply shrug. "Let's just follow her, I guess."

We follow the cute brunette to the back of the guild and up a flight of stairs. She leads us down a hallway and rushes into one of the rooms without knocking. We follow behind her and enter the room as well.

"Sally? What's wrong? I'm in the middle of a meeting." An elderly man asks from behind his desk. The room seems to be a study similar to mine and my father's.

"You shouldn't interrupt a meeting with someone of my standing. You peasants don't know how to act around your betters. If I wanted to I could easily..." the second man in the room says, but stops mid-sentence. He's a pompous looking Noble dressed in far too much jewelry for my taste. When his eyes fell on me, he stopped talking and kneeled on the floor instantly. "Your Highness, please forgive my insolence. Had I known you were here, I would have greeted you sooner." He may be a pompous fool, but at least he knows his etiquette.

"Think nothing of it, but I need to speak with the Guild Master alone. Would you mind giving us some privacy." I ask.

"Of course, Your Highness. I'll simply come again another day." He says and got up to leave. "It was truly an honor to see you, Prince Syrin. I hope to see you again sometime soon." He says and leaves the room smoothly. Looking back at the remaining occupants of the room, I see the receptionist is shocked. The Guild Master seems used to these types of situations though.

"So, you're little Astrids child. She's told me much about you." The Guild Master says. The guild master himself looks like a stereotypical old man. White hair, wrinkled skin, and slightly tired look.

"Ohh, that Astrid!" The receptionist seems to be finally catching on.

"Hehe, I was hoping when I dropped that hint you would have gotten it earlier." I chuckle.

"Humph, you could've just introduced yourself like a normal gentleman." She says.

"Yes, but that wouldn't have been as much fun, now would it?" I say with a teasing smile and she rolls her eyes at me. Great another woman that doesn't know etiquette. I'm sure she'll get along with Anna.

"What did you need, Little Syrin?" The old man asks with a grandfatherly smile. I guess he knows my mother well enough to be talking like this.

"I'm here to drop off that file." I point to the file in the brunettes' hands. "Mom asked me to, and I thought it would be fun." I say.

"Has it been fun so far?" He asks as he motions the receptionist to hand him the folder.

"Yeah, I saw a bear that got scared silly and a man that knows how to beg pretty well." I refer to the big guy downstairs and the pompous noble.

"Huh, I'm sure that was interesting." He says as he skims the file. His eyes open in shock and he also drops the file. I love watching these reactions. It's so entertaining.
