Thanks for the Power Stones. Too lazy today~ Have a good day and enjoy the chapter!)

The battle with the Sasquatch didn't last too long. He was a pure fighter with no magic to speak of, so that made the fight a lot less complicated. Using my new power and speed abilities along with my battle energy, I managed to beat him pretty easily. The reason I know it's a he is because of the hanging genitals between its legs. His dangly bits were hard to miss if you know what I mean. As I said before, this core beast is very humanoid in appearance. Let's just say we all saw more than we ever wanted to see whilst fighting this thing.

Rem and I tag-teamed the fight as we usually do. If I fight without her, she tells me that she feels left out, so I try to include her in most of my fights. Neither of us used any magic, as the Sasquatch wasn't that strong to begin with. These dead adventurers must have been pretty weak to be beaten by this guy. We ended up finishing the fight with Rem distracting him and me slamming a hammer similar to Mjolnir made of my flames into his head. I plan to use hammer weapons from now on, to get ready for when I buy Mjolnir from the shop. Its head gained a good-sized dent and he just fell over and hit the floor.

After the system told me how many points I gained, the good parts of the Sasquatch were stored automatically. Nothing but the bones and a few useless parts remained.

'System, can you automatically store the useless parts as well? I don't want to have to store it every time.'

{Useless parts will be stored in a separate portion of the inventory.}

Once the system answered me, the parts of the Sasquatch that were left behind disappeared as well.

'Thanks, system.'

As we are about to leave the boss room, I look at the bodies of the six dead adventurers. I could take them and absorb them later or return them to the surface for a proper burial. I haven't absorbed any humans yet, so I don't know what I would get. Eh, I'll make a decision later, but until then I store their dead body's in my inventory. My servants don't question it at all and we move to the next floor together.

The eleventh floor is a normal maze-like any other dungeon. We have to be careful past the tenth floor, as this is when traps start appearing. The temperature on this floor is really cold and the first core beast we ran into was a huge turtle with a shell of ice. The turtle itself barely fit in the maze's paths as it got closer and closer to us. The temperature kept dropping with every step towards us. When it got in a good range, the turtle stopped dead in its tracks and pulled its head and legs into its shell. Once it entered its shell, ice forms and covers the shell's holes.

I had no idea why it did this until I noticed that this turtle just blocked our path. Was this the turtle's job in the dungeon? To block us off and slow is down. That's weird but whatever. I told everyone to back off and made a Mjolnir type hammer to bash the turtle with. As I walked closer to the turtle, I bashed the hammer on the closed-off head hole. The hit cracked it a little but the crack healed a moment later. Suddenly after the first hit, the head hole opened and the turtle's head came out and tried to snap at me. It aimed directly at the hand holding the hammer.

I was caught by surprise, but I was able to pull my hand back in time and jump away. Although I was able to dodge the attack, its jaws got caught on the sleeve of my shirt and tore it off. Before anyone could do anything, the turtle pulled its head in again and the ice closed the hole.

"Huh, this is the first fully defensive core beast I've ever run into. It's just going to sit there and do nothing unless we get into its range isn't it?" I ask rhetorically.

"Yes, I've run into a lot of beasts like this in later floors. Floors with beasts like this usually throw off a lot of adventurer party's, as they don't know how to react to beasts like this. It usually ends with the loss of a party member or two. Which then causes the rest of the party to abandon the fight and leave the dungeon." Souei explains based on his experience.

"Hmm, that makes sense." I say and look at Rem. "I get it out again and you put it down?" I ask and she nods while readying her water magic.

I walk up to the turtle once again and conjure the flaming hammer. When I enter its range, I activate magic sense and keep on guard. The second that I'm close enough, I swing back the hammer and bring it down on the head hole again. The hammer cracks the shell and once again the turtle head comes out to bite me. Seeing the head coming for me, I don't even try to dodge as I put all of my trust in Rem. My trust paid off as a few arrows of water Sail past me and into the turtle's head. Before it could die, I smash the hammer on its head opening it like a coconut.

I was worried for a moment because of the turtle's body still blocking the way, but the system took it into the inventory as it does with every monster I defeat. It even took the useless parts as I asked. Other adventurers must have a problem with these turtles. How could they not have one when they still block the way even in death. If this dungeon is made by a dungeon master, I give him or her a 10/10 for smart thinking. I'm just lucky to have the inventory to clear the way.

"That wasn't so hard. Let's go turtle hunting, shall we?"
