CHAPTER 14. FIRST ENCOUNTER AFTER FOUR YEARS.

LINA'S P.O.V.

OMG Lina smith the sole heiress to L company. I heard gasped but I continue to fold my face mask as if nothing happened. I have to be shock this is what I want ,I can never forget how my reputation ruin just one night all because of something I know nothing about. My reputation is clean because of the prove my uncle ( the president) post on the internet . Now I have a clean name but it's left with one thing and that is the hard work of my parents, their company and I will make sure to get it.

Have I answer all your questions? I asked with smile which shows all my thirty two teeth .

" Are you still going to use the name pearl after showing everyone whom u really are"?.

"Yes , I'm gonna use it because it's part of my name, LINA PEARL SMITH is my full name."

If there is no more question then I will take my leave ,I have something to do. I stood up and ask my assistant to escort them out , there are a lot of work load on my table that I have to finish before morning comes.

Twenty minutes later half of the work is done. I went near the coffee maker for some coffee. Aaaa I now feel refreshed. I took a sip and continue my work.

"Shit! " I cursed out loud and flick my forehead . ouch it really hurt

I suddenly remember that I have to get some materials for the new dress I'm going to make .

I went to the parking lot and drove to town. To buy what I will need for the dress .

After the stressful shopping I went to my and Desmond favorite restaurant when I remember this my heart really ach but my mind is angry at him . I parked my car and enter the restaurant everything is the same , the moment I took one step I crashed into a very hard wall I rubbed my itching nose to soothe the pain, when I raised my heard I found out that it wasn't a wall but rather a human being the shocking part is of all people in the Desmond is the wall I was about to deal it . We both didn't move, still rooted to our place then the staring competition started . After so many years this is our first encounter .

I brook the staring competition and walked away when Desmond tried to hold my hands. Ha does he think I'm still going to be his best friend after everything then he is joking cos I'm now going to be his worst nightmare.
