48 Vexana
"What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be dead!" Alice shouted.
"No, I'm back, and I'm back for revenge!" Vexana replied.
Vexana was once the beautiful queen of the Lionhart Empire. They were once the strongest forces that opposed the Abyss in the Land of Dawn. Leomord was one of her strongest soldiers, as he would dominate the battlefield with his horse Barbiel. He was handsome and strong, no one would dare face the Frostborn Paladin. Vexana's empire was peaceful for decades, until Alice came.
The Dark Lord of the Abyss told this young vampire Alice to seduce the king, Vexana's husband. The king became corrupt, and betrayed both the empure and his wife. Vexana raged in anger and made a deal with the Dark Lord.
Vexana had one random maiden killed everyday, to be used as sacrifice to regain her beauty and flaws, using forbidden magic. This went on for months, until they ran out of sacrifices. A strange darkness consumed Vexana, causing her to became crazed and monstrous. This dark turned the empire in great despair, as she became a monster. Demons invaded Lionhart, and caused the great empire to fall. Leomord, who could not stand seeing his beloved empire fall down, took out his sword and committed suicide. Vexana, whose magic became unstable, caused darkness to take over her. The walls cracked, trees decayed, and the empire was surrounded by black clouds. It was so dark and scary, the disaster caused everyone to die.
Faramis was the only survivor ofthe disaster, as Vexana's sorcery corrupted the lands. He tried to use his magic to get Vexana back to normal, but he couldn't. After months and months of staying in this decayed land, Imperial Knights were sent to burn the ruims down, as it plagued and scattered all throughout the land. Faramis pleaded with the soldiers to stay away, but they refused. They locked the mage in chains, and left him to die. They burned everything, and so everything turned into ashes.
A thousand years later, Alice was still alive, using her magic to make her younger. Vexana awoken from her sleep, resurrected Leomord, whose heart was filled with despair and sorrow. She whispered in her ear, telling him that everyone who died would suffer eternal torture. Leomord was forced to follow Vexana, and followed her in her path to find Alice. Faramis at that time was long alive, stepping into the Land of Dawn once again after helping Harper, who almost died protecting the Land of Dawn. The three of them joined forces, in a mission to fight both against Alice, and the Moniyan Empire.
"You will pay for the downfall of Lionhart!"
Two hands grabbed Alice's feet from the ground, and started to drag her down. When Vexana went to attack, Dyrroth jumped in and attacked Vexana, who was blocked by Leomord's sword. With one strong thrust, Leomord knocked Dyrroth off his feet.
"Terizla, Aldous, help!" Alice shouted in such a seductive manner.
The two men approached Leomord. They started laughing and threw a rock at Leomord's face. His left eye glowed red, filled with anger.
"It's two versus one. How can you win now?" Aldous asked.
"Barbiel!!!" Leomord shouted.
At once, his horse Barbiel marched through the battlefield, breaking the ground with every step. Leomord got on his horse, as Barbiel neighed, raising two of his feet in the air. Leomord started attacking the two, who could not keep up with his speed. Barbiel stomped on the ground hard, causing it to break the rocks below him. A small mountain of rocks grew above them, as it struck Aldous hard. Terizla hit with his giant hammer, and managed to knock Leomord off the horse. Before Terizla could hit Leomord again, Faramis went behind him and chained his arms, making him unable to move, and he dropped his hammer making him vulnerable.
Seeing the others fight, Alucard saw the chance to escape. Thamuz saw Alucard and chased him down.
"Demons, focus on that Twilight Orb!" he shouted.
And the chase continues. Faramis and Vexana saw the chains broken on the ground. Alice had gone free. Seeing the others chasing down Alucard, she made her step.
