Chapter 74: Fizbo (Part 5)

Ryan, left alone, proceeds to watch Manny try to talk to Bianca from a distance.

Meanwhile, Manny finally walks up to her and opens with, "We have to stop meeting like this."

Bianca looks at Manny, confused, and asks, "Are you talking to me? Do I know you?"

Manny quickly answers, "We go to school together."

Bianca quietly looks at Manny for a second, then, recalling, says, "Oh yeah, I remember now. You are Danny!!"

Manny corrects her and says, "Manny but close enough."

Ryan, on the side, hears the conversation and marvels at how his mere presence is enough for the dialogue to change.

Manny continues, "Do you like jokes?"

Bianca smiles and replies, "Yes."

Manny says, "Well, you will love this funny one."

Bianca goes, "Go on."

Manny tells the joke, "Great. Okay, so a grasshopper named Gary walks into a bar- ugh, no! You're not supposed to know his name. Let me try another one. Knock knock."

Bianca asks, "Who is there?"

Manny replies, "Interrupting cow."

Bianca again plays along and asks, "Interrupting cow who?"

Manny replied, "You."

Manny instantly realizes what he has just said and voices, "Oh crap." before walking away disappointed and embarrassed.

"That's what he learned from you?" Ryan looked at Jay questioningly. "That's how you got Gloria? You're lucky she didn't understand English much."

"…No…that's not how…" Jay stammered, and Gloria turned to them after watching Manny fail. "What are you talking about?"

Both: "Nothing"

-Gas Station-

At the gas station, Mitchell was standing and checking his text as the pump filled up his tank.

A car suddenly comes and lightly bumps into Mitchell, forcing Mitchell to lose his stand and move forward and take support of his car in front.

Mitchell yelled out while getting bumped, "Uh, Hey…."

The man who got out of the vehicle wore a brown jacket, a muscular build, a long brown beard, and long brown hair. Hearing Mitchell, he replies, "Hey yourself. Move!"

It wasn't Mitchell's fault for standing in the driveway as he just stood behind his car, not on the opposite side. Also, there was more than enough space that the black car didn't need to hit him.

Furthermore, if he needed Mitchell to move, he could have still asked him instead of bumping into him. Being so, Mitchell decided to confront the man who got out of the vehicle, "You kinda just bumped me with your car."

The man looked at Mitchell and replied dismissively, "I don't think so."

Mitchell quickly explained while showing his pants, "No… no, you did because, um, see, yeah, I have got grease on my pants, and there is also, let's see, me feeling it."

The man answered with a hint of hostility, "Oh yeah, you can call an ambulance."

Mitchell, hearing this, said, "Okay. I just thought you might want to know if you want to be a decent human and apologize."

Seeing the man in question putting both his arms in the air showing he doesn't give a shit. Mitchell continued, "No, okay."

Mitchell mumbled, "Ass." as he walked toward the pump and put it back in place.

The man, however, heard Mitchell and turned back from his way to the station shop. He started walking toward Mitch, saying in an angry tone, "What did you say?"

Seeing the man up close, Mitchell replied meekly while avoiding the man's eyes, "…Just forget about it, alright?"

Upon seeing a man threaten Mitchell, Cameron gets out of the car to help Mitchell out.

The man continued to yell at Mitchell, "Listen, Carrot Top. I didn't touch you, so do the smart thing: shut your hole, get in your car, and drive away."

Near the end of the sentence, he even pushes Mitchell backward. Seeing this, Cameron became angry and finally interfered. The clown menacingly entered the conversation, "Is there a problem here?"

Seeing a fat man dressed as a clown talking to him, the asshole man asks, "…What the hell are you?"

Cameron hears this and replies while he walks close to the man until he is right in front of him, "I'm the ass-kicking clown that will twist you like a balloon animal. I will beat your head against this bumper until the airbags deploy."

Cameron then started hitting the man in the chest with his index finger as he said, "SO APOLOGIZE to my boyfriend right now!"

The asshole became scared by this clown and started apologizing but heard 'my boyfriend,' he looked at Mitchell and couldn't help but ask, "… boyfriend?"

In his mind, it wasn't a homophobic thing, but a clown thing, like how could anyone date a clown?

Cameron hits him again and yells out, "Apologize!"

The man quickly says, "Okay, I am sorry man." to Cameron, who points to Mitchell. The man looks at Mitchell and says, "I am sorry." before walking off.

Cameron then takes out this massive alarm clock, looks at it, and tells Mitchell, "Let's go; we're going to be late." He heads back to the car.

Mitchell soon followed suit, not feeling as repulsed at Cam's clown persona as he used to. He even breaks into a smile as his eyes follow the back of his boyfriend.

-Yellow Jumping Castle, Luke's Party -

Manny was jumping alone in the bouncing castle with sadness. Gloria was trying to enter inside to check up on him from a tiny hole.

Gloria asked while on the ground, "Mind if I come in?"

Manny replied, "Sure."

Gloria enters, sits down, and calls Manny to sit next to her, "Come here."

Manny obeyed and sat beside her, then she continued, "Why do you bounce so sad?"

Manny replied, "I told all my jokes. It turns out… I'm not the funny guy."

Gloria reassured Manny, "The right girl will find you when it's time. Even though I'm gonna hate losing you to another woman."

Manny replied, "You'll never lose me, mom. I'll always love you no matter what."

Gloria smiled and hugged Manny, saying, "You see right there. You need no tricks. Just be the sweet, wonderful little boy that you are."

Manny repeats, "Sweet little boy got it."

Manny smiled, got up, and said confidently, "She won't know what hit her."

Gloria then pats Manny while saying, "Vaya Vaya. (English: GO GO)"

Manny then heads off, leaving Gloria alone in the bouncy castle. She then looked around to see that she was alone there. So, Gloria decided to jump inside to see what was fun. After all, they didn't have a bouncy castle in her village when she was growing up.

-At the arts and crafts counter-

Claire noticed a happy Manny passing by and quickly tried to get his attention. "Hey, Manny. Wanna make a comb sheath?"

Manny replied while walking away with a permanent smile on his face. "Now would be the worst time, Claire."

Phil then suddenly appears as if insulting Claire's arts and craft table makes him summoned like a genie from a lamp, holding a blue snow cone in his hand.

While looking at an empty counter, Phil said, "Oh, it's so peaceful and quiet over here."

Claire replied, "(mimicking Phil) Haha. (normally) Came over here to gloat. I already know it's dud."

Phil replied while taking a seat, "I came to give you this." He handed over the snow cone and said, "It's your favorite flavor, blue."

Claire grabbed the cone from Phil and said meekly, "Thanks, honey."

Phil continued, "And your hair looks really nice."

Claire, who has taken a bite of the snow cone, tries to speak, "Mhhh, thanks. I've been combing it all day, but does that mean it doesn't always?"

"Well…You got to admit sometimes-"

Claire stopped him quickly, "Phil."

Phil realized that he'd answered the question wrongly. "Sorry."
