Chapter 2.
It was on the closure of the final year of high school in Hill valley School of Art. Estherra's last year in High school.
five years before the incidence:
"Good morning everyone, today we are releasing the heroes of art in this world, it wasn't an easy journey but I am proud to say; this year, I have seen real talent moving around my school, and surely your star is going to shine throughout this hell of real life.
so without delaying, let's celebrate all the sacrifices and efforts that brought up this day.." Mr Hector announced and the whole school cheered happily .
"Estherra, are you ready?" Dinah asked, "I'm a little nervous, honestly" Esther replied forcing a smile. Dinah was a coach in Cinematic and Comedy club and that night, they had a performance. " Esther, look at me! remember this little act can open up more opportunities, trust me, you are good with this, all you need is confidence." Dinah encouraged her. "I got this" Esther breathed. "I can do this". Dinah looked at her, smiled."remember to watch the crowd. we are counting on you here" she added. " I will do this" Esther said. " okay, keep up with the preparation, I'm checking on the rest" Dinah said holding on her shoulder and leave .
"Esther Esther " Andy whispered from afar and Esther run to her, "are you ready girl?" Andy asked. Esther laughed, "I should be." she replied. "Okay, see you later, girl you got this! I will be cheering you up. Don't disappoint me!" Andy added "anyway, I saw the great producers on the front line. you know what to do" She informed her. "ooh really?!" Esther smiled as she run back inside.
It was after the performance of club of dancers, when the Programmer announced the entrance of Cinematic and Comedy club,
the Hall's light went off and all the voices faded, everyone was starring at the stage (which had a little light) and waited until the show started.
It was a 'Romeo and Juliette modern version show'. and Esther was playing Juliette with his Partner Mike Collins as Romeo.
In a distant, Luc Gustavo was on the front line as guest of honor, He had a Movie studio and it was his second year coming in Hill valley to nominate the talents.
As He was following the show, His eyes met with the Juliette , and the girl stared back, that was the very first time, Estherra Divan met with Luc Gustavo.
The show continued and we could hear the crowd shouting "Esther Esther Esther"
"Who is that girl?" Luc asked Hector who was sitting right next to him. "Estherra Divan, a very talented young lady, she's closing this year with school" Hector replied. Luc turned back and stared again on the stage, "Estherra Divan" He murmured.
And then, the show was over, the whole club presented themselves and they were off the stage.
BACKSTAGE:
"we made it " everyone was congratulating one another. "we surely did." they would reply. "Esther" Mike Collins called his Juliette. "Hey Romeo" Esther replied with a laugh, Mike laughed as he approach and hug her. "you made it. I'm proud of you" Mike whispered. "You were easy to play with" Esther replied and she can hear Mike blushing with joy.
Right in the middle of their hug, The Principal stepped in, "Ms Divan, come with me" He called her. "Anyway you all did well" He still managed to congratulate the whole team although he was in hurry.
Estherra followed him and the two approached a guy who was standing in the garden "Who is that?" She whispered. "Relax.Okay?" Hector replied, and their whispering voices made Luc turn and look at them. Esther was trembling. "Principal, please tell me" She would still ask even if they were standing In front of him.
Luc started quoting the lines in Romeo and Juliette, " I don't know how to tell you who I am , my name itself is hateful to myself because it is an enemy to you". In this state, Esther felt more welcome "I have not heard you speak a hundred words yet I do know the scent of that sweet voice" She replied. "Ooh My lady Juliette" Luc continued but this made Esther burst out into laugh and the quotation stopped. "I am Luc by the way, Luc Gustavo" He presented himself. "Estherra Divan" She replied with a hand shake, "I have heard about you! who would go back without hearing about the legend Juliette" Luc bragged a little.
Hector Coughed" So, Mr Gustavo, my part ends here. see you later" He said because he was lost in a world of cinema.
"You might have heard, I am a producer from EM entertainment," He said. " ooh really? it's such an honor to meet my role model in person. but you are really young!" She had a lot to say, Luc starring at this innocent young lady He laughed. " Entertainment is the only business that doesn't require higher experience or long time in a field to succeed , as long as you got the talent" He explained. "I've seen you on television and newspaper, but you really look young" She had to be frankly open. "Well, yes I am young..... so, I liked your performance" He tried to be more focus. " thank you so much" Esther smiled. "Been thinking about working on you and your talent because I have seen potential in you" He demanded. "oh that was too quick!" She exclaimed which made Luc laugh out. "You really are funny" He added. "well, am an actress you know!" She explained.
In that moment, Andy jumped in the middle, out of nowhere looking at Esther, "I've been looking for you, Look I saw a very handsome guy in guests, He said he's a producer, he got money, talent and he's still young" She exclaimed. "Andy" Esther tried to show her that he's behind but she couldn't read her body language. "Don't worry, he doesn't look like having someone, you need to be wise, we need to win his number this night"She continued. "but I don't really remember his name, he was in black, oupps so smart!! what was a name again?" Andy couldn't stop herself. "Luc Gustavo" Luc said from Andy's back. "Yeah! Luc " and jumped celebrating that someone reminded her the name in turning it was himself.
"Are you ?!!" she felt so shy, speechless and ashamed. "Luc Gustavo. yes I am" Luc replied trying to act so serious. "Lord, I am done!" Andy said running away from them.
the two laughed so hard" your friend is so funny! how do you manage to keep her calm?" Luc asked. "She does calm herself most of the time" She replied. "So I don't have much time here, take my business card, you may give me a call once you feel like you are ready to persuade your passion" He said giving her a card. "Thank you sir." She replied. Luc take his step away and then turned "by the way, I do have a someone. just in case" He said smiling and he was gone.
Esther didn't find the notice to be important, but someway her beliefs were disappointed.
