After hours of bathing pampering and dolling me up for the reception I was ready to go and meet him, I don't know why but I always get this buttery feeling when I'm going to see him. It feels like our first encounter every time.

Thank you! I responded with a smile. My heart was racing as I made my way to Beryl's study with the maids assisting me. As I knocked he responded and told me to enter. 

As soon as I entered, his eyes lit up, and my stomach was filled with butterflies.

As he was on his phone taking a call, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. His hair was wet from a recent shower, and he looked effortlessly handsome.

Heat instantly crept to my face as my eyes followed him in every direction as he was on a call so he signalled me to sit on the couch which I did. His eyes never left mine. The call was a long one but when it ended he slowly slid his phone inside his pocket and walked to where I was sitting. He stooped in front of me placing a hand on my thigh and caressing my cheek he said...

You look absolutely stunning," he gushed as he took my hand and pulled me up to stand with him.

"Your eyes are breathtaking," he said. "I could stare at them all day."

A shiver ran down my spine as he traced his index finger over my lips. "And your lips, they're sweeter than any I've ever tasted," he whispered.

"Do you like the dress?" he asked, admiring me from head to toe.

I nodded, feeling overwhelmed by his compliments.

"I'm glad," he said, placing his hand around my waist. "You're always beautiful, but tonight, you look like a goddess."

He pulled me into an embrace surprisingly at first I tensed up but his words made me relax in his arms. "Don't worry," he breathed into my ear. "Everything will be okay. Just trust me."

Okay, I said, enjoying his muscular Scent.

Let's go, everyone is waiting for us. He said as he gently placed his hand around my waist taking me downstairs. As we got there the few who came clapped for us then it proceeded with a series of couple games and words from my parents, it was strange because I didn't see anyone for Beryl. Not parents and not siblings. Just his friend who said a few words to him. It's really strange though, it makes me wonder how it feels to be in his shoes. After everything the music came on and we were asked to dance. The song was "Perfect by Ed Sherman"

May I have this dance? He asked as he showed his hand for me to take. And I nodded placing my hand on his. 

But I've never danced before, I told him once I was standing next to him.

There's always a first try. He said with a smirk. As he placed his hand on my lower back and took my hand in his. Just follow my lead...he said looking into my eyes intently. 

Okay, I responded. What does he have?? Why am I so easily drawn to him even when I don't know much about him? Why do his eyes show me emotions that I don't understand? Why does my heart race at the sight of him? Why do I feel like losing myself in his arms even when I don't know much about him? What is this feeling I get when he tells me to trust him? I asked myself as my eyes met his.
