Demon Turning Into A Softie Within Seconds

He knows it was totally selfish of him to keep someone he knows he doesn't love and deprive her of ever feeling love but he just couldn't bring himself to let her go. He just hope everything goes well with their relationship.

It been a couple of days, four days to be exact since Renly has confronted Maya and cut off ties with her but he hasn't cut off ties with his supposed son, no matter what happens that boy is his and he would be damned to permit him to suffer in the hands of a bitchful mother.

He's planning on investigating everything about his son and he doesn't give a damn how long it takes to find out every secret about the boy. Renly has been at peace with Adir's younger sister, since she has taken one month leave as her mother requested, that girl is just a workaholic like Adir himself, not that he is any different from them but damn she's too dedicated to her work.

Zilvshun was asleep when he left, he smiled as he remembered why she's still in bed, she's just too sexy to resist and she has been glowing for reasons unknown to him, not that he's complaining because the glow is another addition to her beauty which is driving him insane.

He has never felt anything close to what he feels for her, but he also can't pinpoint what this feeling is, for him he has always loved Maya and a part of him still does, besides no one can forget their first love or so he thought, he really doesn't know but he knows that he doesn't think of her like in the past.

Pushing those unpleasant out of his head, he slipped out a sigh of tiredness, he's been feeling exhausted these days because of the pile of work but hopefully he would be able to finish it today.

Renly pulled his car to a stop at the packing lot of his company, he picked up his briefcase and dismounted the car, he shut the door and pressed the button on the key holder to lock the vehicle before walking towards his private elevator, he has a meeting in thirty minutes and he has a feeling it isn't going to be pleasant but who cares, infact he careless because he's the boss, if anyone tries anything stupid and they would face the aftermath of it.

The aftermath he's talking about would be very ugly, it's been long since he had some fun and he would be glad to have some fun, he just hope everything goes smoothly for the sake of peace.

Renly closed the door to his office with an audible sigh. There was a large mahogany table with a black leather chair behind it which looks intimidating but not to Renly as he himself is already intimidating, a pile of folders sat on the left side of the table with an apple laptop in the middle, he walked towards the large mahogany table and sat behind it on his leather chair, he quickly switched on his large apple laptop and got to work.

One side of the office has two long couches and an armchair and a tea table in the middle with a squared rug underneath it. The large glass windows has ash coloured curtains hanging at each side of it which were pulled aside revealing the beauty of the city beneath it.

Renly was thirty minutes into his work when his office door clicked opened followed by the clicking of heels, Renly didn't bothered raising his head to look at the owner of those heels, he continued working as if he didn't hear a thing or someone come in.

"Good morning sir," a lady's voice greeted. Renly hummed in acknowledgement to her greeting as he sighed before closing the folder.

Raising his head, he leaned back and look at the lady before him with raised brows, the woman who was wearing a black suit with a pencil skirt was about 5'6 tall, her mid-back length honey black hair was in a high pony tail, her light blue eyes were hidden under a pair of transparent eyeglasses while her plump lips were pursed tightly as she flipped through her emails on her cell phone, everything about her screams business.

"Sir we're ready for the meeting," she said turning off the screen of her cell phone as Renly stood up with a nod his cold face not giving away a hint of emotion which the lady was already use to. They both walked out and took the elevator to the twenty sixth floor of the building, Renly walked into the meeting room and sat at the head of the long mahogany table while his secretary sat at his right hand side, her face as cold as her employer's.

"Let's commence with the meeting," Renly cold voice rang out.

While at home Zilvshun woke up to an empty bed, she let out a sigh of sleepiness before walking into the bathroom to take a relaxing shower, after taking fifteen minutes relaxing shower, she dried herself, applied body lotion before blow-drying her hair.

She threw on a pair of blue ankle-length skinny jeans, white t-shirts and a pair of black combat boots. She quickly braided her hair into a fishtail with baby hairs framing her face, she grabbed her black leather jacket on her way out of the room as she exited the elevator the conversation she heard downstairs made her furrowed her brows in displeasure.

"That boy refused to eat this morning, saying he wasn't hungry and was running late," Silvia's voice sounded, Zilvshun can even imagine her brows pulled together in displeasure.

"Mom, you know him. He wouldn't eat when he's running late for work, plus he has a meeting this morning and I'm sure he would want to want to work before the meeting commences," Azure voice sounded calmly as Zilvshun entered the dinning room and sat down.

She greeted everyone as she poured herself a glass of water before gulping the whole content down. She quickly made her way to the kitchen and grabbed some ingredients from the fridge. Within thirty minutes she was done making the breakfast which she packaged into plastic plates.

She was placing it into a lunch bags when she heard a couple of giggles behind her which caused her to spurn around to see who was behind her only to be met with Renly's family who were giving her a knowing look.

Zilvshun scratched the back of her head sheepishly, she gave them a smile while she pointed at the pancakes, bacon, macaroni salad and cheese and other appetizing foods, everyone's mouth watered at the sight of the breakfast, although they ate but they're suddenly hungry again. Zilvshun grabbed the bag and said her goodbye to the family before exiting the kitchen.

She grabbed her jacket and motorcycle keys. Ten minutes later she packed her motorcycle in the packing lot of the building and walked into the reception area, she spotted a young woman at behind the reception counter and walked towards her.

"Good morning," Zilvshun greeted the brunette hair lady politely.

"Good morning ma'am. How may I help you?" She responded and asked politely as well.

But as Zilvshun was about to tell the reception why she was there, someone called her from behind.

"Doc.Zilv," someone called sounding relief for an unknown reason. She turned to look at the young man who she recognized as Renly's Personal Assistance and right hand man.

" Hello, Adrew. I'm actually here to see your boss," the coldl said to Andrew with a smile before turning to the receptionist and mouthed a thank you to her.

"Yes, let's go," Andrew replied taking the lunch bag from her as he led her to the elevator. The elevator came to a stop with a ding on the twenty sixth floor, the both exited walking towards the meeting room with transparent glass doors which were slightly left ajar.

"You couldn't close a simple deal? When did I employ people who are incompetence?" Zilvshun heard a familiar voice sounded coldly, Andrew sighed in his heart. He warned them but they never listened.

"What have your team been doing for a whole month?" Renly questioned, his voice colder than before. "What in heavens name do I pay you for?" He continued to questioned his employees.

Zilvshun footsteps quickened as she neared the door, pushing them opened, she entered and saw her man with his hands on the table while standing, his posture as intimidating as the rising tides of an ocean.

"Since you don't want to answer my questions, You Are Fired," he said coldly without noticing her presence. Zilvshun walked towards him with a sigh.

"You know getting agitated would cause your blood pressure to rise right, plus I'm sure you'll get a mind-grain to as well," she said grabbing his large hand which caused him to look at her in surprise.

"Hey, how are you?" he asked softly while his employees gapped at him in bewilderment, how can the demon soften within seconds? This was the thought running through their heads.

"I'm not fine," Renly heard her replied with pouted lips.

"What happened? Where does it hurt? You know what I'm taking you to the hospital now," his questions were filled with panic but his voice sounded firmly when he made the last statement.
