"I need him" was the highest explanation he could give. He wasn't used to talking about his feelings. He had only done that with one person and that was Aito. Then, he didn't even realise it but that boy brought out the real him. Now that Aito was gone, naturally, that part of him died too.

Kaito was stunned. "You need him? For what exactly? Aito is dead. Why can't you accept that? Have you ever thought that what you're doing is disrespecting Aito?"

There was finally a crack in the mask. Yasu and Kaito were somewhat startled to see the conflicting emotions in Ryu's eyes. As if one part wanted Nori at all costs and the other wanted to respect Aito. He looked so... torn.

"I think you should stop here honey" Yasu adviced Kaito. "That was a heavy enough blow. Anymore and I don't think he can take it". Yasu hadn't read the reports yet but he could tell that Ryu was really unstable.
