Some well deserved rest.

Mairon staggered trough the portal, his wounds still healing.

He was tired, not used to the ploy's and plays of high society.

He thought he had to kill a warrior before taking what was rightfully his.

But when victory was his, he got ambushed and he had to summon his armies.

Thinking back anger flared in up in him.

Scheming and deceiving was what he did, when the elves where still gullible in ages past..

But now after thousands of years, these folks were no longer ignorant of the world.

Now even the humans dare to scheme against him.

'I give up'

He takes his helmet of, before trowing it to the side.

He reduces in size until he is within human proportions.

Sabel sitting on his throne, gets up as soon as she sees her lord coming trough the portal.

Seeing him throw away his armour before making his way into the throne, gives her a weird feeling.

It's almost like seeing her father return after a failed raid.

"My lord you have returned."

"I have escorted your family to your living quarters."

"Well done Sabel please disperse the army and let them rest."

"We will have to breed some new Uruk hai to refill the lost numbers tomorrow."

"When you are done come report to me."

Mairon now without his armour makes his way to his living quarters.

Too much happend today without his knowhow, and he would like to hear everything from his 'dear' fiance.

Inside her temporary retreat Messenia had laid her daughter to rest, before going to her own chambers.

Today was a great success, she had taken revenge on the killer of her husband, and sabotaged the plot of the other highlords.

But now she was pretty nervous, waiting for the new head of house in his chambers.

She knew he would be pissed about being left out of the loop.

But she had a battle plan for this, and she had no fear about what was to cum.

Her sister disappeared somewhere, fascinated by these weird creatures.

There was also the skills and culture of the creators of this massive underground kingdom.

But the fact they were treated as full royalty, made her relax a bit and not worry her sister got killed in some dark corner.

And then he came inside brows frowned, not quite angry just really tired.

A smile came to her lips.

"How is my daughter?" he asks

"You don't have to worry, she is safely sleeping in her chambers."

Mairon sits down tiredly on his bed.

"Well I am going to sleep, we will speak about what happened tomorrow."

Messenia smiles a wicked grin.

"Well I know how to fix being tired."

She said, while binding her hair behind her head.

Well a really short chapter this time.

I didn't have time or peace to write last week.

Going on a short vacation so I will probably only write the next chapter, next year.
