At the Slytherin table no one applauded the new member
Everyone in Slytherin upon hearing the name Uchiha, knew that it was not magical and some who saw him get on the train identified him by his muggle clothes, so they deduced that he was a muggle.

Sasuke in his mind seriously a hymn that's stupid, but several students started singing.

The prefects of the four houses started to get up to call the freshmen from their respective house.
