CHAPTER 13 - Life in Uzumaki clan

After Hashirama Senju left the room Sen was left alone with Ashina Uzumaki until a clan member came to deliver the information.

Here is the information you wanted said Ashina Uzumaki as he handed the scroll to Sen.

After Sen took the scroll and opened it he looked at it - and he didn't understand a word.

He came to realize he did not know how to read and write, he made a fake coughing sound and said

"COUGH that, Grandfather?"(Sen)

"Yes?"(Ashina)

"I can't read or write."(Sen)

"Then why did you take the scroll?"(Ashina)

"That, I didn't realize I could not read or write until I took the scroll."(Sen)

'Senju Sen lowered his head and tried to hide his face hoping he could use hiding like a mole jutsu to save himself from the embarrassment.' 

"Bwahahahaha, you didn't realize until you saw it haha haha fine give it to me I will read it."(Ashina)

'Ha, this grandson of mine sometimes acts just like Hashirama.'

"Here" Sen handed back the scroll.

"Then I will start first was the battle between Hashirama and Madara which was felt by all the five major villages, Second was the retreat of previous kages of the five major villages as the second generations stabilized their positions, Third was the distribution of the bijus and Mito becoming a jinchuriki by sealing nine tails inside herself which is troublesome and finally there were some clashes of ninjas on missions but nothing else major has happened."(Ashina)

"The decision of Aunt Mito is indeed troublesome."(Sen)

"Yes it will cause us to be hunted."(Ashina)

"No even without it we will be attacked, if not for that ability then for the sealing techniques."(Sen)

"I see that is true."(Ashina)

"So how do you plan to solve the problem?"(Sen)

"With the apparent eradication of the Uzumaki clan, in a way that everyone believes we were annihilated."(Ashina)

"Do you have a concrete plan?"(Ashina)

"No, but I have a general idea."(Sen)

"So how many people should know about it?"(Ashina)

"Before the threat of annihilation becomes apparent and our end almost determined; the less the better."(Sen)

"I see then I will only tell the second and third elder of the clan and us three will assist your plan with resources and everything else and will try to reduce the involvement of anyone else."(Ashina)

"Before that I should start teaching you to read and write."(Ashina)

And so his life in the Uzumaki clan started.

---- Time skip 2 Years ----

In the last two years that I lived in the Uzumaki clan, my life has been leisurely, except for the time spent reading and writing which I did in just 5 months but then I received the news of my godfather's death and my excitement died down.

Grandfather also received a letter from him which was actually addressed to me that said he left what he promised where he promised and Mito would be my guide should I decide to visit the place.

That meant he left the 'Flying Thunder God scroll with Lady Katsuyu and the map to the place for the secret village with Aunt Mito.

I also met the third elder Uzumaki Asahi and the second elder Uzumaki Bakugo while the second elder has an explosive temper and the third elder feels polite and soft-spoken I observed enough to know both grandfather and second elder fear her quite a lot.

 I spent the rest of the time learning about the sealing techniques and trying to practice my chakra control.

And I learned that my chakra control was very bad and even after a year of living with my grandfather it was not improving much until the third elder saw me trying and discovered my problem.

She said my spiritual energy was too active and my physical one too weak leading to my chakra being somewhat ill-balanced and any memories or thoughts springing up in my mind or any rather even me passively recalling things was interfering with my chakra control, so I stopped training it for the next year and the third elder sometimes took me out to the nearby villages for travel and as she had kagura eye she could avoid the dangers and the people who knew her.

After meeting with the third elder she was the one left in charge to take care of me and I quickly became close with her and her presence allowed me to regain my old self after my godfather's death.

And while I practised my handwriting, and brushwork and continued my study of sealing arts the three elders tried to find a solution to my problem and after a year of hard work, they finally came up with a new sealing technique to help me with my problem. It was in that afternoon when Grandpa called me that set in motion some events that changed my life drastically.

"What happened Grandpa?"(Sen)

"Sen, we have found a solution to the problem of your chakra control."(Ashina)

"Oh what is it?"(Sen)

"A new sealing technique."(Ashina)

"And it does what?"(Sen)

"You see the main problem with your chakra control is the activity caused by your spiritual energy when you recall anything and since the clan has the techniques to seal almost anything even memories we tried to modify those sealing techniques and devised a new one that instead of completely sealing your memories dampens them instead like placing a translucent curtain over your memories it will filter the unnecessary spiritual disturbance you suffer and make controlling your chakra possible." (Ashina)

"Then let's use that technique."(Sen)

'I hope it can solve my problem so I can finally begin training in sealing techniques.'

"That is the problem, we have devised the sealing technique but it has not been tested so we don't know the exact effects."(Ashina)

"Can you remove the seal after it is applied?"(Sen)

"Sure."(Ashina)

"Then just test directly on me."(Sen)
