I love explosions

Arlong looked on as the blue haired human started to run at him. There was no feeling of amusement in him anymore as saw that, the only thing he could feel at this moment was rage.

Arlong swung his right hand as soon as Tom got close. Ducking down, Tom threw his left fist straight at Arlong's jaw, only for it to get caught.

As soon as Arlong caught Tom's fist, he noticed the human jump up and rotated his body to deliver a downward kick to his head. Snorting at the attempt, Arlong simply caught it.

Just when he was to tear apart Tom, who had his back to him, something tore out from Tom's back and hit Arlong right in the face. Reeling from the impact, he let go of Tom, which Tom took full advantage of as he swiped his claws at Arlong.

[Rending cleave]

Unable to guard against it, Arlong's body got filled with cuts as he fell back. Only then did he take in the full form of the human, who now had a tail coming from his back, ears changing shape and becoming cat-like and nails getting longer.

'A zoan user?'

Arlong could only think so much as Tom jumped at him again. Arlong rolled away and jumped into the water. The first thing he saw was that the pirate he threw into the water was missing.

Looking around and finding no one, he turned his attention back to Tom, who was taunting him right outside.

"Nyahahaha, what's wrong? Are you scared? Gonna run away now? Moron~"

As Tom was dancing around, his feline senses started warning him and he hurriedly jumped to the side. As soon as he jumped he saw Arlong leap out of the water at a terrifying speed, nose first.

Staring at the big hole Arlong made after he crashed into the building, Tom narrowed his eyes.

'Did he just try to stab me with his nose?'

As Arlong emerged from the rubble he had made, a burst of water appeared on the other side of the courtyard.

"I'm back!"

Looking towards the scream, Tom saw it was the idiot devil fruit user who almost drowned. Unfortunately for Tom though, Arlong did not want to give him any time and charged at him and tried to bite him.

"What the hell?!"

As he started dodging Arlong's mouth in bewilderment, Tom felt someone grab his shoulders. Looking back he saw that it was Luffy who had stretched his arms.

"Gomu gomu no-"

"Oi wait-"

"ROCKET!"

Ducking down hurriedly, Tom made way for Luffy to crash into Arlong, which sent the fish-man crashing back into the building. Sticking his landing near Tom afterwards, Luffy looked towards where Arlong went and puffed his chest after folding his arms.

"Well, that settles it."

"You asshole! You almost took my head off!"

Luffy turned towards Tom, who looked angry and noticed his tail and ears.

"Oh, how'd you grow a tail?"

"..I should just slice you up right here."

As Tom took out his claws, Arlong started emerging back from the building, this time with a big weapon in his hand.

"Look moron, you sent him right where his weapon was."

"How was I supposed to know that?"

As Luffy tilted his head in confusion after Tom started blaming him, Arlong jumped up with Kiribachi, his main weapon, which boasted incredible destructive prowess with its six blades and Arlong's natural strength.

Tom and Luffy both jumped away on opposite sides as the fish-man crashed and ripped into the land where they were standing. When Arlong was pulling his weapon out, Luffy stretched his leg out and tried to whip him.

Arlong grinned when he saw that. Turning towards the stretched out leg, he opened his mouth and bit down.

"Gaah!"

As Luffy exclaimed in pain, Tom jumped at Arlong, who had turned his back to him and dug his claws into it. Getting stabbed was not pleasant, even for Arlong, so he immediately let go of the leg and turned around.

The first thing he saw when he turned around was Tom's face, which had broken out into an evil smile and his right claw coming straight at his mouth.

Aiming right at Arlong's mouth, Tom ripped his teeth right out. As Arlong tried to kick him afterwards, Tom leaped away and landed next to Luffy.

"Nyahaha, that's how you fight. Got it?"

"Hmph, you just attacked his back. You're a coward."

"Huh?!"

As the two captains arguing again, Arlong pulled out his weapon and exerted a little effort in his mouth, which instantly grew new teeth.

"Eh?"

"Oh."

Looking at the dumbfounded look on the blue haired human's face, Arlong laughed and asked.

"Do you know what makes us different?"

Luffy was the one who answered.

"Long nose?"

"..Doesn't your crewmate have a long nose too?"

"A big chin then?"

"I'm sure there are humans with big chins."

"Oohh, I got it! Webbed hands, I've never seen someone with them."

Arlong saw the two humans chatting and grew angry. Swinging his weapon, he shouted.

"It's our species!"

With both of them dodging out of the way, Arlong kept up his offense, swinging his weapon at one and trying to bite the other.

"We are born different! The natural strength that we're born with makes us superior to any human out there!"

"You sure like to blabber a lot."

Bending backwards to dodge, Tom used the momentum to kick Arlong's hand, making him drop the weapon. Luffy seized the opening and smashed his fist into Arlong's chin, which shattered his teeth.

Blowing his fist, Luffy looked at Tom with a smug expression. Arlong grew his teeth back out and ripped them out of his mouth. Doing it again, he had two sets of teeth in his hands, which he used to attack the two captains.

Sidestepping Arlong's attack, Tom punched his face, which was soon followed by a kick by Luffy to Arlong's stomach. The latter which sent him stumbling back.

Stabilizing himself, Arlong dug his feet into the ground and lunged at Luffy, nose first. Hurriedly rolling out of the way, Luffy dodged the attack and looked at Arlong, who got hit in the side mid air by Tom and got his attack stopped.

Falling near his sword, Arlong picked it up and started attacking once more. This time, he did not underestimate the two, which led to them being unable to land a counterattack.

Tom leaped back towards the building as he saw Arlong actually fending away both of their blows. Something which Arlong saw and lunged at Tom while he was still mid air.

Turning around mid air, Tom dodged Arlong's nose, which made Arlong crash into the building. Luffy followed Arlong in and they both seemed to thrash everything as they made their way to the top of the building.

Tom stood on the outside and took out a remore detonator. Tom contemplated for a while to whether or not he should use it as Luffy was in there. In the end his desire to cause a big explosion won.

'He's made of rubber so he'll probably be fine.'

Reassuring himself, Tom flashed an evil grin and hit the switch, which triggered all the explosives he had planted when he had snuck in.

As the building fell, it puffed up a dust wave, causing everyone to put their arms up to cover their eyes. As the dust settled, they saw Tom, who was closest to the explosion, coughing while on his knees.

"Damn, I should've worn a mask."

As Tom was wiping his face, Luffy burst out of the rubble looking for something. That something was Arlong who got out, albeit shakily, only to face an angry Luffy, who stretched his feet high into the air and smashed it into Arlong's nose, breaking it and knocking him out.

After making sure Arlong was knocked out, Luffy declared Nami to be one of his crew now. All the villagers who were present went into a big cheer seeing the end of Arlong park.

Tom looked at the ruckus and went to his crewmates who were looking around. Wondering what they were looking for, Tom soon found out that his gold coins had drastically reduced as quite a lot of them got blown away when the building exploded and collapsed.

"Let's go find them!"

Seeing their captain who wanted to get back his wealth, the crewmates shook their heads.

"Well, they've already been found."

"What do you mean?"

When Tom asked Yuuki, the latter only pointed in a direction and Tom turned around to see some of the villagers pocketing a few coins. Turning back to his crewmates, Tom asked incredulously.

"N-no way right."

"They ended up taking most of them. If you still want them, we can only rob them now."

Tom snapped his head towards the villagers right after Tyke talked, with none of them willing to look his way. As Tom scanned the crowd with bloodshot eyes he saw Jerry, who had mixed in and was jumping around.

Staring at the scene for a few moments, Tom clenched his fist and restrained himself.

"Dammit! If only they didn't have a shitty backstory! How much do we still have?!"

Looking at his captain, Tyke smiled wryly and took out a small bundle. Snatching it, Tom walked away.

"Wipe that smirk off your face!"

Tyke looked at Yuuki, who was glancing around and told him he can come back with Jerry and followed Tom back to their ship.
