Chapter 2: early childhood

I'm not great at describing early childhood from the perspective of a child so I'm trying a different approach on it I hope it's ok with you guys.

1 year after prologue.

Blake's age: 2

MC age: 1

It's been quite some time since the little kit officially became a Belladonna and our second daughter. Since she had no names we decided to name her Yuki Belladonna which means snow in an old mostly forgotten language.

She is a very well behaved child only ever crying when she is hungry or needs her diaper changing. Honestly she's better behaved than Blake and Blake is almost a year older than she is! Well speaking of Blake she has taken a liking to her younger sister it seems since she never lets Yuki leave her side. Haha something even better was her first words were 'sista' Ghira fell into a week long depression because of that.

They both fell in love with smoked tuna and comic books truly, all female members of our family are women of culture ara ara. Little Yuki is so well behaved and so is Blake the only problem is any of the kids we bring over to help her make friends she just scares them off then goes and plays with Yuki *sigh*. Towards the end of this year Blake has begun speaking rough sentences what a smart girl I have.

The situation in menagerie is getting worse by the year though sadly. Atlas has been increasing dust prices again, now more and more Faunus are becoming angry at not just Atlas but at humans in general. This is a dangerous view and me and Ghira know it. There's even a very small faction of white fang that want to take more extreme and violent actions but they are very few in number and everyone just pity's them at best. Since most of them lost family and friends to the humans. Though honestly I'm its not that uncommon in menagerie most people here came here to flee the oppression of humans and would do just about anything to avoid being owned by the humans again.

*sigh* well that's it for now time to go change little Yuki's diapers she's crying again.

Blake's age: 3

MC age: 2

Well it's time to take Blake to pre-school for the first time. Though it pains me greatly she's becoming too attached to Yuki for her own good she should make other friends her own age... speaking of which a tiger Faunus boy tried to approach Blake but Ghira scared the poor lad off mumbling something about how....

"If anyone wants to touch my little princesses they'll have to do it over my cold dead body!"

So it's safe to say no young lads will be approaching them any time soon since no one would willingly piss off someone who looks like a living tank or someone who runs the white fang. Yuki is may seem adorable but she has a mischievous hint to her, her first words were 'mama' spiking Ghira to cry manly tears on the ground in defeat whilst I just stood there nibbling not salmon since we were out of tuna with a smug ass grin.

I've tried getting both Blake and to a lesser extent Yuki, since she's younger, into fashion and clothes only to be met by a deadpan stare from Blake.

Well these two are my adorable daughters and nothing can stop me from doting on them. I always brought home the biggest tuna I could find for them to share on the weekends fufu if I didn't know better I'd assume Kit was also a cat Faunus with how much she enjoyed a good tuna to snack on these days. Yuki's secondary Faunus traits are awakening these days.

A lesser known fact on remnant to most us that Faunus with tails are born without hair in most cases and around the age of 2 is when they start growing fur. It's also around this age their other Faunus abilities begin to awaken such as heightened hearing, better eyesight or just in general a boost in strength and agility all depending on their sub-species.

Yuki has grown slightly enlarged fangs and her tails have become a resplendent white colour and when the nine of them move together it is almost hypnotic to watch. Blake has develop a habit of 'fluffing' Yuki's tails calling it 'mofu mofu time' children are very strange these days Blake even insisted on sharing a bed with Yuki. The look on Yuki's face was priceless when I agreed I swore I could see a look of betrayal on her childish face.

Haha Blake has finally made a friend her name is Ada Taurus an adorable young girl who seems to be polite and kind to every Faunus she meets. Hehehe perhaps I should invite her round soon maybe on Blake's birthday ... we can only pray Ghira doesn't go [overprotective father mode] a fierce intimidation technique that could make even seasoned veterans shit their pants and run to the hills as fast as their legs can carry them.

It was absolutely hilarious when Ada came around for the first time on Blake's birthday. She was very polite to everyone and the second she saw Yuki she became like a doting elder sister murmuring 'how can someone be this cute?' Ghira came barging in rambling about "is it not enough to have Blake! Now you want my little snowflake too!" It took many minutes of me soothing him for him to stop his poor murder plots for poor Ada.... *sigh* overprotective fathers can be troublesome.... I would know after my father who beat up all my suitors before Ghira proved himself to him *sigh* how I miss the old days when I was more adventurous, I used to go hunting Grimm with a few friends of mine. Sadly those days are mostly gone now I have children but don't get me wrong I would never trade them for my glory days, they are my little angels after all.

Ada since that time has been coming round more often to play with Blake and Yuki. Ghira though begrudgingly began to accept Ada as a friend of our two daughters, he may be overprotective but he can see both Blake and Yuki seem to like him.

Yuki has always been a strange child honestly ever since she learned to read at the Age of three she almost always has her head in the books reading about many things.

Over the past year many interesting things have happened in menagerie, Ghira has now taken absolute control over the white fang and over the other faction in white fang the radicals who want to kill all humans yada yada...

I've offered to unlock Blake's aura but she said that she wants to do it at the same time as Yuki so I've decided to accede to her little request. It's also been quite the hectic year in some ways as well some human slave traders have been more active lately and the worst part is that any of the 95% human police sent by the council are either payed off to look the other way or are well... incredibly racist against the Faunus, any of the good ones suddenly get transported to another location.

Ghira and his men and women are going to take action soon if nobody else does since of he doesn't his subordinates will do it without him and will more likely than not take it HIGHLY overboard.

Fufufu well either way I'm going to take my little kit and kitten to the festival this year and I will dress them up fufufu. Wait why are my daughters and Ada running away from me? Nooooo come back I swear I'll only dress you up a little bit!!!

Hey guys hope your doing well. I've got a few ideas for her semblance like having her using illusions or turning into a animal nine tailed fox or maybe even being able to summon and control Grimm who knows.
