13 Dawn of the 'them'

Neo spent the better half of the rest of the first day teaching Neopolitan some words in Japanese. Along with getting her to mimic the Sayo Hitsugi look with the demonic-looking mask on. Neo herself took on the appearance of the Katana-wielding White haired version of Yuko Sagiri. They slept close together inside the building, which was an office. Though everyone left for the day so Neo wasn't too concerned.

-Fujimi High, 11am. Hisashi-

Hisashi was paying special attention to what was going on outside during his classes. The moment he recognizes smoke coming from the town, he gets up during class and walked right up to Rei. He then noticed Takashi barge into class too.

"Rei, Takashi we gotta go" Takashi basically demanded, earning a disdainful scoff from Hisashi.

~Still trying to play the character, you brooding fuck? Fine.. But it won't be me who gets bitten~ Hisashi rolls his eyes and replied with as much snark as he could.

"Oh really? Man I had the same idea when I saw the giant pillars of SMOKE outside" Hisashi helped Rei out of her seat.

"Yeah? I got something worse. Teachers out at the front gate just fucking died and came back. Biting each other too" Takashi snarked back at him while Rei was made uncomfortable.

"Guys, please.. What is going on?" Rei tried to mediate.

"Come on, we're going. Follow me" Takashi quickly walked to the door but stopped and looked at Saya.

"You come too, Saya. I think we could use your genius after all" Takashi offered and Saya sighed, hurriedly following him along with Rei and Hisashi.

~As soon as we get to the roof.. I'll get rid of him~ Hisashi thought and planned how he'll get Takashi bitten.

~As soon as we encounter one of 'them' I can start my plan~ Takashi also planned in his head. He would use his system to evolve using the infection and become something like a 'B.O.W' from one of his favorite series.

They stopped in the hall as soon as they heard the announcement speakers go off. A man's voice was then heard issuing an evacuation and state of emergency.

"This announcement is for all students.. An emergency situation is taking place inside the school right now. All students must follow your teacher's instructions and evacuate. I repeat-" Takashi shook his head and muttered.

"Finally fucking started.. Okay let's go" He then started to make his way to the faculty section as the announcer screamed for help.

Then came the panic. They saw a horde of students rushing to get down the stairs as fast as they can. Right to where Takashi knew 'they' were. Some were kicking, punching and shoving other students out of the way, inadvertently killing a few of them trying to get out as fast as they can.

They ran outside and saw one of the now infected teachers. Takashi smiled as it tried to grab onto a stunned Rei. As soon as she realized she could fight back, she did. Laying hits into the former teacher with her modified broom handle with a sharpened tip.

"Don't fuck with me! I'm part of the martial arts club!" Rei yelled out before stabbing the former teacher in the chest and lifting him, which was impressive for a teenaged girl.

It then used the broom stick to knock her into the side railings, making her fall on her ass. Unknowingly to her, both Takashi and Hisashi facepalmed at her, not knowing the basics about how Zombies work. Seeing the perfect time, since Hisashi wasn't going to try his luck and get bit, Takashi put the former teacher in a headlock, who unsurprisingly used that opportunity to bite his bicep, drawing blood and making Takashi yell out in actual pain.

"Fuck!! That fucking hurts!!" He grunted and used his position to completely snap its neck, killing it off.

"Takashi"/"Komuro!" Rei and Saya yelled while Hisashi remained silent, hiding his grin.

"I'll be fine.. Let's just get to the roof and we can try to see how bad it is" Takashi held his arm and huffed in annoyance.

~As fun as fucking those girls as a monster would be I'll go with the powerful and most versatile option. I choose the Mercer Virus~ Takashi grinned, which alarmed Hisashi as Saya and Rei helped him to the roof, killing 'them' on the way.

It was up there they saw the true extent of the damage the city had taken. Hisashi then spoke up.

"Takashi.. you were bitten. You're going to become one of them.." He sounded as genuine as he could.

"W..Wait no. Takashi is fine! He won't turn, Hisashi!" Rei defended Takashi as Saya kept monitoring his health.

"Rei it's happening all over the school! Everyone who gets turned becomes-" He was cut off though, by a very loud sound heard throughout the school. The sound of a powerful rifle.

~What? Nobody's supposed to have a gun yet.. Fuck me. System, when do I get powers?~ Hisashi asked his system.

"Ding! Harem System will award host when he has officially acquired more than two girls of the main cast"The system replied, making him sneer and kiss his teeth.

~Fine. I can do that after Takashi dies.. He'll turn soon and I can bash his dumbass head in with no repercussions~ He scoffed and looked down at the school yard. He almost yelped in alarm upon seeing so many of 'them' dead and severed into piles of limbs.

"What the fuck is going on.." He whispered, getting an uncomfortable and foreboding feeling of unease.

-30 minutes earlier, front of Fujimi High-

Neo was strolling over to the front gate with Neo, seeing the zombie stuck and fixated on the gate, she generously punched its skull in with ease. She was slightly surprised until she realized that they were basically Huntsmen level and was far stronger and faster than normal humans here, who could easily kill the undead with blunt force trauma to the head.

"Oh right.. Well, OG let's get to hunting! You see any scummy looking teachers, a badboy looking student or the player you saw yesterday, lemme know. For now! Let's make sure the nurse is okay. The swordswoman, tsundere and needy girl should be fine for right now" Neo gestured to her partner, who nodded excitedly and roundhouse kicked a zombie's head off as they made their way into the school.

As soon as they did, they saw the utter rampage the students were making. They were kicking others down the stairs, punching each other and stampeding over fallen students. One of the girls even got launched into her arms, which made Neopolitan glare for a second before laughing, seeing her partner yeet the girl back at the front entrance behind her.

"What? I'm not picking up every girl I encounter.. I have standards. Oh god.. no.. I made a pun.." Neo sighed.

-Remnant, 20 minutes after Neo left-

"I feel.. a sudden surge of pride for some reason?" Yang commented as she played a board game with Ruby, Weiss and Blake in their room.

"What?" Weiss looked at her in confusion.

"Ah must be nothin'" Yang dismissed it.

-Fujimi High-

As Neo and Neopolitan punched and kicked zombies apart, they eventually end up in a hallway, seeing a group of students being led by a familiar teacher. Neopolitan gained a very evil and amused smile as she nudged Neo.

"Oh I see him.. Wanna see something cool?" Neo looked at her partner with a confident grin, who nodded several times, excited for what her partner had in store.

"Good! Watch this shit" Neo then called out to them and waved to them.

"Over here! We're evacuating students on the bus!" Neo called them over.

Once the teacher Koiichi Shido noticed the two, who looked like characters from the series he was a bit familiar with, he stopped in his tracks and had started to lead his all female student survivor group over towards them.

"Oh thank god! If it's them we can make it out safely!" He sighed in relief but was slightly confused when he saw the white haired nurse pull out a large sniper rifle.

He knew the series they were from had the girls use expensive weaponry but pulling it out of nowhere was a first for him. He slowly came to the realization he should not be running to them. Though he was far too late.

Neo had jumped off a wall nearby and turned her body three-hundred and sixty degrees and promptly shot Koiichi Shido in the skull, splattering his blood and brain matter all over the students behind him. The students froze in shock and terror as Neo landed with the sniper barrel resting on her shoulder, not believing what just occured until she spoke.

"Get down to the bus. Climb on top of it till I get down there with the keys. The zombies won't be able to reach you" Then she strolled past them with her partner, who looked incredibly amused.

Neopolitan hugged her arm tight, expressing her admiration for the kill.

"Wh.. What the fuck!? What the fucking FUCK!?" One of the female students screamed and the group all ran as far as they could from the gun-toting nurse.

"Thanks, OG! That's called a '360 no-scope' where I'm from. It's a legendary skill few develop.." Neo bragged as they continued on, crushing zombie heads with her rifle as Neopolitan switched to her Blade of Mercy.

Wherever they went, carnage ensued. The bloodsoaked halls filled with corpses looked straight out of a horror movie. They reached the nurse's office soon, seeing a young man defend her from the zombies that busted in before he was bit. They were too late for him but they dispatched the zombies before they touched Shizuka. At the moment they did, Neo saw Saeko Busujima make her way in, wide eyed and blushing at the extreme violence they displayed in the room and littered all over the halls.

"Oh yeah.. she was like that huh? Nice.." Neo smirked as Saeko composed herself after the brief glimpse of her true self.

"Are you okay Miss Marikawa? And you, you defended her well.." Saeko went on to comfort the male student before she killed him, preventing his turn.

She then turned to look at the two bloody nurses who had come in before her.

"You two are.. efficient. Can you help Miss Marikawa and I find any living students?" She politely asked with a sincere bow.

"That's why I came, of course! Me and my girlfriend here are tasked with getting as many of you all to safety as we can" Neo assured her with a smile.

"Oh! Rika sent you, right? I'm so lucky to have her as a friend.." Shizuka seemed really touched that her friend would go so far to save her and wiped a tear from her eye.

"Well just make sure you give her a kiss when we meet back up with her. I'm sure she'll appreciate it" Neo smiled lewdly with Neopolitan rolling her eyes with a grin.

"Oh! Oh.. I never knew.. If I make it out alive then for sure!" She got pumped at this, making Neo cackle.

"Now let's go see if we can find any living students, shall we?" Saeko cleared her throat and walked out, taking the lead.

"Oh! Quite dependable, aren't you?" Neo raised her brows twice.

"One has to be in times like these" Saeko stated fiercely and led them through the school.

They were led straight into a section where trophies were. They saw Saya scream as a Zombie grabbed her. But before she was bitten, the Zombie's head was kicked in by Neopolitan, who had springboarded off the stairs and drop kicked its head to mush.

She took a bow as Neo, Saeko and Shizuka made their way down. Neo and Saeko killing the surrounding zombies with the new additions of Rei, Takashi and an irate looking Hisashi.

After that was done, Neo looked at Hisashi and Takashi, her last remaining targets before checking the system for the notification she recieved earlier.
