3 Found A Town

Days has passed since Swain took flight and got out of the Land of Darkness.

The little Nevermore has travelled far and wide to the sea's of Remnant. He didn't have any idea on where it wanted to go, so it just flied to a random direction and let fate be its judge.

But there was one thing that made it surprised though.

Its that negative energy could be felt from all directions. It knew that they were so far from his location, but he could still feel it from hundreds of miles away.

Which is also the reason why the bird didn't have any idea on where to go. So after some deliberation, the avian Grimm decided to set off into the unknown.

'Mother's land.....too far from other lands.....will take awhile to reach.....can wait.....' The Grimm thought.

'Gifts....what gifts mother gave?.....I feel.....but no use.....not know what and how.....but others.....follow?'

The Nevermore then looked up. He didn't see anything, but he could feel that another one of his kind was following him by flying high above in the sky.

It was a cloudy day, so the one following above him couldn't be seen, but he could still feel its presence. The presence was just too familiar to him, and he felt a connection with that presence.

'Another Grimm...follow me?.....Mother said someone follow me.....to help me.....to protect me while still weak.....thank you Mother.....by why other Grimm not show themself to me.....?'

Looking high above the clouds, there was a gigantic.....no it was a Titanic Nevermore, and there were two of them! They were following the little Nevermore just right below them.

These two Titanic Nevermore's were one of the oldest Grimms in the world. They have grown colossal in size over the hundreds of years, and their physique and feathers have grown so strong and hard.

They have also accumulated knowledge and experience on how to properly hunt and attack humans. Obviously they weren't dumb as they knew the pattern of how some hunters with certain weapons attack.

These two Titanic Nevermore's have acculumated experience and learned how humans tend to react. This has allowed the two to survive for the last hundred years against human's, as hey would immediately flee if the battle was not on their favor

The longer a Grimm lives, the larger and stronger it becomes. And by stronger, it means that they will get stronger in all aspects. Body, Intellect, Strength, Innate Abilities and so much more, they can get stronger in those aspects.

Although Grimm have a more reckless and aggressive nature during their youth, older Grimm who have managed to survive their battles have the tendency to learn from their experiences.

While sometimes requiring hundreds of years, the Grimm's accumulated experiences over the course of surviving their battles with man can cause them to begin exercising caution.

They can evolve and learn from their experiences when fighting against humanity.

This strange form of self-preservation leads those older Grimms to exhibit restraint and the patience to avoid taking unnecessary casualties in futile conflicts.

Yet, despite this ability to learn, their instinctual hostility still remains, as shown by their preference to patrol the borders of Kingdoms for any weaknesses they might someday exploit.

They were always waiting for an opportunity for them to finally strike on their prey. Grimms were still savage in nature and that cannot go away even with experiences.

This demonstrates that for all their apparent intelligence, older Grimm simply use it as a means to become more effective in their singular drive and purpose of killing.

All the more reason why Salem specifically commanded those two Titanic Nevermore's to protect her little son while he was playing around.

They would only intervene if necessary, and in the normal time, they wouldn't reveal themselves to Swain and to the humans.

'But.....I feel that I can tell them what to do.....' The Grimm thought as he contemplated on what was the connection he was feeling with the two other Grimms.

It was really strange, he couldn't stop thinking about. But he decided to not perform his tests and experiments about that yet.

So he just continued to fly along with the wind in the sea.

'And.....I also feel.....other Grimms.....in water....' The Nevermore looked down on the sea.

He could feel it. Thousands....No Millions of Grimms swimming around underwater, waiting for humans travelling and searching forward for negative energy.

Swain already had a general idea on what Grimms tend to look like. Afterall, he spent a year in the Land of Darkness and he already got the general thought on what a Grimm is.

Bony masks, armors and spikes, red eyes, has a myriad of species, loud, strong, savage, huge, feral, always has a black, white and red color, and many other generalizations.

'So many companions.....Might not die.....In outside land.....I need hide on them.....if I trouble.....'

.....

.....

After many days and nights of flying, the Nevermore finally spotted land. And he could feel negative energies on that land, so it decided to head off to a certain direction on that land.

And finally....

It found what it was seeking.

A Town.....

He then saw alot of strange structures that he has never seen before. This fascinated Swain, the only structure he saw was his Mother's tower, and no other.

The little Grimm was mesmerized at the sight. But what truly caught the Nevermore's eye were the strange creatures moving within the unruined ruins.

They had a strange physique and they had two legs that walked in a bipedal motion. Unlike Grimms, they don't have some bony armors, nor their eyes was red, and they didn't look beast-like and seemed to not be feral.

They were wearing some kind of covering on their body and they held some kind of weird tools, or at least these was the case for little Grimm.

'What are you?'

The Grimm was chilling on a branch of a tree. It then decided to fly closer to those strange creatures and landed on a random metal pole in the town.

'Amazing.....Not look like Grimm.....but they feel weird.'

He could feel it.

The desire to kill them.

The desire to eat their flesh and drink their blood.

The desire to consume their souls!

'Are they the one that Mother call's as 'Humans'? I....feel urges again.....but can dismiss them.'

Swain can feel his innate savage and feral nature as a Grimm, but unlike the other younger ones that would give in to them, he chose not to and he could easily resist those urges.

Why? Because it knew it might easily die. Just a glance, and Swain could tell that each and every one of those humans were stronger than him and could easily kill him if he ever appears right in front of them.

He saw a human carrying some kind of tool, but he knew that tool was dangerous, and so was for the human that has a weird light on their bodies.

It was a strange sight, he could the body of that human emitting a blue light. Swain then turned to a normal human that was passing by and he noticed something weird....

'That human.....has no light?'

The bird was intrigued and it tilted its head in wonder. It then remembered another thing that his Mother told him on the things that he should consume on humans....

'Aura.....this must be Aura that Mother said I need to eat to grow stronger.....but not all humans have Aura?....'
