22 Chapter 22: Training (2)

Chapter 22: Training (2)

~Jack POV~

After eating dinner with the Rose Family it felt all too unreal for me took quite a drastic change of things and how they are going as I couldn't help but be in a fantasy-like world for reals.

But with it came the crippling depression I needed to get a decent level before Beacon begins and counting today I have about 6 days left before the Beacon exam begins.

For the rest of the night with Tai's permission of course I began to train during the night and spent the entirety of it finding what are my limits and what I can and can't do with my current stat limits.

After all, a Video Game character like me has nearly about a few minutes of rest before I begin training again thanks to my <Meditation> skill.

Thank god for <Meditation> skill also heals up my fatigue as I kept at it during the night and at times when I feel too tired I spent it on <Meditation> to heal me up again.

This is for the daily quest after all but only the bare minimum for the time being and focus on the skills I do have.

<Deep Pockets> for one was really useful as I can keep a private inventory for me to have the courtesy of Roman semblance that he doesn't know.

Certainly, useful for me.

Once again <Meditation> most busted ability as even Tai was shocked how much I could do for a single night and with very little sleep I can do with my body.

Tai observed me through the night of course but was surprised how much time I needed to train my body in a short amount of time resting before going all-in again.

He was honestly shocked just as much as I am.

Having Gamer powers are just that complete bullshit broken along with the skills to match.

Shame it doesn't account for my intake of food increasing for me to do this.

A small downside but nothing too worrying since it made sense with me doing more training at night also means more energy wasted but I need to eat food to restore my hunger.

And I couldn't help but love it since I have 6 days remaining before the plot begins at least according to the entrance date for Beacon Students to start.

Grimm.

Cinder and crew.

Salem.

And the Gods…

I'll show them to never underestimate a [The Gamer]!

I spent the whole night just running around while holding a clump of buckets of water on my shoulders. Correct to my guesses, my body, no matter how exhausted, will be all fine after a few minutes of resting.

The experience I was doing was simply running around and increasing my strength and vitality by doing so.

This little running around the whole night has earned me this number of stats by doing this simple running exercise.

And when I'm done, I took my time to read about how the world works through their knowledge while having a light snack.

Checking the status of the window of my own level I couldn't help but smirk at this since gaining levels is the easy part in the beginning.

But sooner or later it would become a crawling halt to get better stats in later life.

I hardly have any allowances so fighting Grimm and doing Quest would be my main ideal way to get any Lien for me to buy some stuff.

And speaking about Quest…

[Quest Completed]

Good.

Having 13 Stats saved up is good.

I have enough to boost it to place my STR at 50 as it could be really handy to see if I unlock a skill or not but also could be saving them for an emergency.

Man, all of this work without even leveling up is a really good way to train.

But if I train like this for a while longer, I could become strong quickly.

Since it was already the next morning, I entered the Rose family home and took a quick shower and placed my clothes inside my <Deep Pockets> and took them out again all clean only leaving the stains inside my inventory.

Nice.

I won't have to pay for the cleaning service!

At least I don't have to pay for the cleaning clothing ever again.

With that done with I met up with the rest of the Rose household I see the girls in their pajamas and Tai cooking food as Ruby spoke to me in a tired tone, "Yawn.... Morning Jack are you ready to start your training today?"

Smirking at this Tai yawns at this and glared at me as he replied the answer surprising the two huntresses about last night, "No worry girls he already began… since the entire last night running around. Damn. Did you copy a guy that has little energy Semblance? Only a few minutes of rest and you up again ready to train."

Their eyes widen at this as I nodded to their surprise as I responded to the two girls with an innocent expression on my face as I replied, "Yes. One of those semblances requires me to meditate to heal myself and my aura quicker erasing my fatigue thus getting back to doing my training. Shame can't do anything about my hunger though."

Ruby and Yang looked at me as if I have sinned Yang was the first to reply to my answer with her own as Tai punished her for swearing, "… Ok that is just unfair by that point. Most Huntsman and Huntresses-in-training need months to years to get we are today. And I repeat this again… your Semblance is bullshit."

"YANG!"

"AH!"

"SWEAR JAR!"

"NOT THE TIME RUBES!!"

Laughing a bit, I couldn't help but more or less agree with her words as well.

My whole Gamer powers schtick is quite indeed bullshit as she puts it.

When the two began to sit down and eat it was when Ruby began to question me about yesterday about something, "Say Jack? You said you have amnesia but how do you remember what you said about the whole scary movie camp thing yesterday?"

Hearing this I already prepared an answer like this before my blunder in the interrogation room.

I may have said I have amnesia, but I never said WHEN I had it.

Glancing my eyes at Ruby with a shrug as I replied to her answer giving them a direct answer to her question, "I do have amnesia since for the last few weeks… relearning everything I could. It was hard in the starting days. At least I managed to relearn some things again. So, I thought it was best to get used to Remnant culture."

Ruby seems to agree with that as Yang began to talk to me with some curiosity in her voice to me with a raised eyebrow, "Hmm… so it took you a few weeks to find out where you came from and began to search through movies or media instead of going towards the police to help you why…?"

Already have an answer for that as well.

Continuing to eat… cereal I think or oatmeal?

Whatever.

Returning to the conversation with Yang I replied with an answer to her question as I spoke to her, "Well I was outside the kingdom at the time I gained amnesia when I was found in a wooden home in an abandoned village. After that, I tried to find out all I could where I was to find help but seeing no one was around all I did was find out where I am for the past few weeks unlocking semblance. Only my name really stood out with some portions of basic knowledge but otherwise everything I have to relearn from scratch with some media culture."

Yang looks at me a bit surprised at the info I gave out.

Not like they can figure out much.

That was when Tai began to voice out his concerns to me as he spoke out to me curiously about the wooden home, "In that case how about rechecking out the wooden home then? There might be something related to you."

Shaking my head I gave out the best excuse why it's impossible as I replied to him a simple answer, "Can't. I can't go back because it's no longer there anymore when the Grimm started appearing and destroying the place probably because of me so I ran at the time."

Tai soon shut up as he nodded in understanding.

Thank goodness that the Grimm are reliable scapegoats at times like this as they won't bother me for more info or look into my past.

Being born outside a Kingdom and having my home destroyed by Grimm with no traces is practically near impossible to find any info on me.

Not like they could find any info on me because I didn't exist only a few days ago.

After that endeavor and eating the food Tai had to leave for the day to get back to his job and so did the girls leaving me by myself.

Their dog Zwei was the reason why the girls have to leave to collect from him in Vale as he was in the vet since he wasn't here the day I arrived.

I wonder what their dog level is at…

Would be pretty pathetic of me to not be stronger than a dog.

Actually… I don't want to know if it's somehow stronger than me then that's bullshit at this point.

Since I have some time for my lonesome it's about time I start working on my skills some more…

Turning around a bit I did see a lot of stuff around…

I wonder what the limits of are my <Deep Pockets>?

Smiling a bit…

Time to test it out.

And I might see if I can increase my <Pockets> skill…

Yeah…

Time to start storing everything.

/////

[<Deep Pockets> LEVEL UP!]

….

[<Deep Pockets> LEVEL UP!]

[<Deep Pockets> LEVEL UP!]

….

[<Deep Pockets> LEVEL UP!]

Yeah…

I so far took the furniture, beds, tv, fridge, dog beds, and much more only to return them back as I stole the living shit out of the Rose Household while using my <Deep Pockets> to place it back inside.

It's a very effective way to train my inventory.

Every time I store something in my soul specifically it feels like I'm expanding my inner pocket dimension so to speak every time I do so.

The more I store the more space I produce if that makes sense?

While it did raise my <Deep Pockets> skill all the way to Level 20 the other skills that are Aura based could use some work or some intense workout would do just as well.

I just need to train more is all.
