Chapter 217: RWBY Prime—Hero from Another World (3)

~Jack POV~

Going around to see everyone trying their best to live around Vale City with the three of them being antsy about the whole situation I finally see the Vale Public Library as I couldn't help but make a comment, "Now that's something you don't see every day?"

Pyrrha was the one to voice out noticing the amount, of guards around the library, "That's… very odd? Why would the people here guard the Vale public library?"

Penny and Ruby nodded at this as I took the chance to stop the car parking at a nearby parking place I spoke to three of them, "Ok. Seems like a good time as any to ask around. Want to start investigating around here before we meet up?"

They all nodded as we all exited the hover car Penny stuck close to Ruby responded to me and Pyrrha, "Ok I and Ruby will look around the place. Will meet back to get ourselves familiarized with what happened exactly here?"

Nodding at that I wished the both of them luck and kept their identity a secret, "Alright. With how everything that happened here best to keep our identities a secret. At least till we can get a better understanding of what happened."

The two nodded as we parted Pyrrha stood by my side as we carefully look at the Vale Public Library taking my hover car inside the capsule getting people's attention as I spoke to Pyrrha, "Ok Pyr we have to get a better grasp of the situation. And what best place than the most guarded area right?"

Pyrrha gazes her eyes at the Vale Public Library as she nodded her head following me as we head towards the Library as two guards soon stopped us, "Halt! What business do you have with Head Mistress Glynda Goodwitch?"

Sensing Pyrrha's shocked eyes recognizing the name I began to reply to the guard to get us inside right away, "We are here to discuss a trade of large amounts of Dust for fuel and info from the Head Mistress of Beacon Glynda Goodwitch. You saw how I got the car inside right? Full crates of Dust inside this small capsule."

Waving said Capsule to the two guards and looked at each other before reluctantly nodding in agreement as they allowed the two of them to enter inside with Pyrrha coming behind me and speaking out, "The situation here doesn't really seem all too kind in Vale. I wonder what happened and what's this Fall they keep speaking of?"

Shrugging my shoulders at Pyrrha's response I replied to her while we get inside the Public Library, "Not sure Pyrrha. But we do know someone that can give us the info we need by explaining ourselves to the one person we currently know that belongs in the Inner Circle. Hopefully, she can understand what's going on around here."

While I say that I already got the gist of what's happening, I can't exactly explain to them how I knew without – wait I could've just said I used <Telepathy> to get—

God damn it!

Well, whatever.

This was going to happen regardless hopefully Penny can keep Ruby from not causing too much trouble.

Walking through the interior of the Vale Public Library I began to observe a certain Head Mistress as her eyes caught us with masks on our faces causing her to stiff a bit before responding to us, "Sigh… who exactly are you two? And why have you entered inside the station base of operations of reclaiming Beacon Academy?"

Beginning the start of this conversation I replied throwing my Capsule contained with Dust Crates at the ready, "Where here to gather info on what happened exactly around Vale during this Fall and the current state of the situation? And in return, we offer you these crates full of Dust."

*Woosh*

*Pop*

Glynda acted rather quickly seeing the capsule casually pop open as she reached for her weapon but paused seeing the crates full of Dust as she soon spoke out to herself, "Wait… I thought no Kingdoms are getting any Dust no thanks to the sudden Embargo cutting us off of Atlas borders…"

Seeing this I read enough of her thoughts using <Telepathy> as I casually told Pyrrha mentally to remove her mask as I sensed no one is currently around and cameras were disabled, 'Pyrrha can you please remove your mask?'

At this Pyrrha turned around me in confusion before I gave her a better explanation why quickly, 'I read through Glynda and other people's thoughts with <Telepathy>, and in this world, you are already dead. We need her to believe our story was from another world to get her full cooperation.'

Of course, I already knew this from the show and told Pyrrha to take off the disguise, but I couldn't exactly say where I got really.

Just saying I got other people's thoughts are good enough to convince Pyrrha.

Glynda attention eyes up straight away as Pyrrha nodded in agreement speaking to Glynda, "Ok Jack. Sorry Miss Goodwitch but we have something to talk to you about, but we need you to believe our story. And for that to happen I need to reveal myself just… don't overreact too much?"

Glynda only had her weapon in her hand ready to counterattack if we had the chance.

Fortunately, that chance never came to be.

Responding taking off the mask making Glynda pause at this in pure shock for a bit getting the reaction I was suspecting as she took the chance to regain herself mumbling out words getting Pyrrha's reaction to being shocking, "What… I thought… I thought you died during the Fall of Beacon… how and why have you been hidden if you were… no."

Shaking her head a bit calmly taking deep breaths and regaining her composure again as I took the chance to sit down revealing my face with Glynda glaring at me, "No. Ruby confirmed your death personally seeing you die in front of her eyes. And I know that young girl wouldn't lie about what she saw. So then… who exactly are you two… and why does she look like Pyrrha Nikos former deceased Champion of Mistral…"

Calmly sitting down placing a palm to my hand and brushing it up to my hair I respond to Glynda's words, "Sigh… trust me you might want to listen to this. And I know you will doubt us a lot but please know what we say is the truth."

Glynda slowly adjusts her glasses and took a seat motioning her hand to gesture to me to continue as I know this is going to be a very long day for the both of us.

….

"… and here we are at this point."

Sucking in some cold deep air after explaining to what would be science fiction of us coming from a different reality or dimension Glynda slowly digesting in the words.

We waited for a few minutes before Glynda places her hands on her face as she pinches the bridges of her nose finally responding to us, "Sigh… so to get straight to the point. You, Pyrrha, Penny, and Ruby from a different Remnant nay dimension came over here too and I quote 'do a vacation in another world' for relaxing? Did I get the main gist of why you came here correct?"

Making a popping sound from my lips with the correct sound to her leaning to the back of my chair as my response, "Correct! Pretty much it honestly. When we finally came to Vale, we managed to notice the issue happening around here… kind of not hard to see the situation at hand."

Glynda shook her head before responding to me with a defeated expression on her face responding to our story, "Sigh… I suppose. Despite the fact that you two are impossible from another world… I heard crazier although yours does seem to take the cake."

Pyrrha blinks slowly before finally responding to Glynda with disbelief in her voice and eyes to match, "Wait… you mean you actually believe us?"

Glynda laughs at that with a small smile on her face wiping off a tear from her eyes as she spoke to us, "Yes, I do. I have been a professor of Combat after all. You usually get trained very well to see a person's face to tell their intention to words. And how could I ever forget one of my own students' faces here with us."

Taking a brief moment of silence I broke the silence speaking out to Glynda causing her to stiffen at the words I spoke, "And what about this of reclaiming Beacon Academy?"

Glynda flinched at the beginning to talk to us about what exactly happened during the Fall of Beacon from numerous head counts of different victims about what happened was a nightmare for her and others during the invasion.

Listening to everything I merely expressed a calm neutral look while Pyrrha looks a bit angry at me for how casually listening to Glynda's story, "Jack… aren't you the least bit angry or emotional about what happened here?!"

Turning my head to Pyrrha venting my anger at hearing from Glynda's story tightening my fist enough to draw blood as I 'calmly' respond with my Power Ring shining a crimson red color reflecting my emotion, "Of course, I'm calm Pyrrha. Getting angry or sad won't do any good. But there is one thing that does need to be done though… and that's taking back our school."

"No!"

Glynda immediately denied us of this with clear anger in her eyes facing mine clearly in disagreement, "No I will not let any more students go trying to reclaim our duties! I have had enough funerals seeing students… promising students with bright futures lay down on the ground torn to bits and pieces defending the Academy to their dying breaths…"

Hearing the depression and sadness in her voice I merely smirked at this replying with a grin on my face, "Then it's a good thing handling a scenario like this just so happens to be my specialty. Doing the unbelievable and impossible? That's my thing. If you think I won't reclaim Beacon because I'm merely a student would be a bad mistake to assume. Especially us. Also, Glynda tries smiling more I believe it hides one own fear better while giving support to others in need."

Pyrrha hearing my words Pyrrha merely chuckled at that responding to my words, "Trying to place a smile on your face to hide one's own fear? I wonder where I have heard that one before?"

Rolling my eyes at that it didn't amuse Glynda the slightest as I talked to her with a smile on my face, "Now then Glynda… I want to ask have your world ever fought an alien god and won before in this world?"

That made Glynda pause before wording out loud clearly confused, "I'm sorry but what?"

Oh boy, I'm going to give Glynda a story time of a lifetime that's actually true for a change of pace, unlike those fairy tales... well...

Maybe except for that one time, I accidentally found a Leprecon but that's a story for another time.

Green midget bastards...

Plus, giving her the rundown of having me explain everything so that I can be a more peaceful place with everyone working together.

It's time to do something about Beacon and provide an actual future in this world it's time for the Future Foundation to make a foundation for all.

After all, that's what my organization does best.
