Chapter 11: Vale (3)

Chapter 11: Vale (3)

~Jack POV~

"Grr…!"

"Die!"

*BAM*

*Poof*

[You got 19 Exp]

[You got 400 Lien]

[You got Healing Potion (Low)]

[LEVEL UP!]

There that should be enough Lien for me to last awhile for a few days grinding on the Grimm.

And not once have I skipped out from my Daily Quest but I stored the extra Stats I got from the rewards.

The daily quest usually lasts only a day and I have been training for about 6 days storing them up when the time was needed.

Breathing in and out I began to return back to the hotel in Patch Village for the night since the sun is setting soon I'll pay for my way a ship ride out of Patch and then to Vale to see the situation as well as see the place for the first time.

Status.

STR: 24

LUCK: 1

Stat Points: 33

---

Smiling a bit, I see that every time I level up my HP, and AP will increase by 100 every time I level up is nice along with the bonuses of extra stat points by 5 is nice.

The extra status points were from me grinding on Grimm because of how much physical effort I place myself to keep up with training along with the Daily Quest.

I haven't decided to use them on anything yet but I'm leaning towards LUCK because I might need that the most and who knows I could get a very good skill for it in the process.

Although since I have enough I could raise my STR to 50 to get what I need or possibly gain a new skill from this.

Hmm…

Decisions, decisions.

<Observe>.

These will come in handy if I really need them but I should save them only for an emergency.

But for now though?

I got just enough Lien for me to get me a ship to ride me to Vale for the following day if I hurry.

It should take no less than a few hours to arrive at the destination.

Time to get going.

Sleep first then go to Vale for the next day in the morning.

*Vroom*

Taking a Bullhead to the Vale Kingdom the view from above was certainly an eventful experience, to say the least.

Have to say the view is absolutely beautiful from where I'm at to see all the lands for the first time.

Despite my circumstances, it was all too hard to believe but well… here I am.

I guess I haven't really gotten to truly enjoy the world as much as I would have liked because of my circumstances but….

Now that I have the chance to unwind it really is breathtaking to be in another world.

And how I act or reveal myself could change a lot of what would happen but for now, I at least deserve to view the sights.

*Thud*

Finally dropping off from the flight and paying the piolet I began to walk out of the Bullhead station for the ride down on Kingdom Vale grounds.

I began to hurry inside the walls of Vale City as I was amazed by the place.

Even though I knew from the show it was still breathtaking to see all of it.

My eyes could only widen seeing the beauty of this place and immediately recognizing it to be amazing.

The place just seems a lot like my old world to a degree and also the fact that I'm still in a new world is what just mind-boggles me.

Welp…

Do as the Romans would do in a situation like this.

Time to start sightseeing around the place.

And boost up my skills in the process to boot.

It is for the grind after all.

[<Observe> LEVEL UP!]

[<Observe> LEVEL UP!]

[<Sneak> LEVEL UP!]

….

[<Observe> LEVEL UP!]

[<Sneak> LEVEL UP!]

Got to admit though this place certainly feels different than I'm usually to back on Earth.

And certainly, more diverse in some respects for example looking like London back on Earth for starters.

Really gives off a whole European vibe this place has going on for a prime example.

Never left my home but I do recall some photos looking like this though.

That and I have been using my <Observe> to level up my skills as much as I can along with <Sneak> skill to avoid confrontation if I can help it.

The city of Vale is divided into multiple sectors, having an upper-class district, a commercial district, an industrial district, an agricultural district, and a residential district.

Currently, I'm walking down the sidewalk as I'm minding my own business in what was it called again…?

Come on it's just at the tip of my tongue…

Ah!

Oh, right the Commercial District.

The commercial district of Vale includes numerous shops for the public catering to a variety of lifestyles and interests befitting its vibrant and diverse culture.

The architecture of the commercial district appears to vary widely, possibly according to socioeconomic factors.

While some areas appear to be surrounded by buildings with well-kept brick façades, holographic street lamps, pedestrian crossing, and clear streets, other areas appear to be more low-income, such as those surrounding Junior's Club, which are characterized by metal, bare concrete, and power-lines.

At least according to the signs posted around about Vale Kingdom info that is.

I should really get a Scroll in all honesty because I'm somewhat lacking an identity as of now.

I used my time to look up the places I would most certainly have been attracted to since it was from a show but turned into reality for me.

What can I say I really like the stores they have here.

Makes it feel all the living reasons.

Putting that aside what I needed most currently is a means to possibly get going around here and most probably find a good means to train.

The only skills I got from Patch at this time were the ones I had that I needed to fight Grimm and capture them all to help polish them.

While learning new skills would be useful polishing them to proper use is also important as well.

Like Hit from DBS for example with his improvements of techniques to catch up to Goku for one so I needed to do the same with the skills that will help me in a cinch during combat.

Hmm…

Pausing for a bit wasn't there a lot of Magic Artifacts in Mistral for me to take?

If there was then there must be a secret temple with some magical knowledge and hopefully some Skill Books ready for me to absorb from the past.

Yeah…

That might be my best bet to find some good magical books or ask the other living immortal magic users for magic weapons or equipment.

No matter I really need to get going around to view the place.

Hopefully, nothing really bad happens…

Still, though I should probably make an attempt at least to see if I can pay for them online.

With my <Observe> skill it wouldn't be much of a problem really if that were the case since I can literally see past lies and get the real truthful information.

Hmm…

Maybe I should look into books relating to mastery somewhere along the lines…

Just for a spare time of course.
