"Beta Tester? Mr. Voice what's a Beta Tester?" Ruby asked, the voice wasn't really helping with telling her where she was but she didn't mind. This was the first time someone actually tried to talk to her and she was very happy right now so she won't mind the mister's sudden outbursts.
"Oh yeah I forgot to inform you of that, first things first my name is Lucifer not mr. Voice, got it kid?" Ruby nodded and smiled, "Mr. Lucifer not Mr. Voice, got it" The voice now known as Lucifer then explains what a bata tester is, "[Beta Testers] is actually our term for the dungeon's chosen, every world that has a dungeon will always pick someone from the world to be the first people to explore it's dungeon, you my dear little red was chosen by the dungeon [White Mist] to be it's beta tester"
Lucifer explained, Ruby's head was spinning she didn't know half of the things Lucifer spat out as she quickly muttered the things she did understand, Lucifer slapped his head when he heard this. Ofcourse she wouldn't understand she's a f*cking child.
"Ahem, to put it in simpler words, you are someone who was brought here by the dungeon and basically all you have to do is survive" Lucifer said, Ruby nodded, at least he made an effort to explain it to her not like her parents, "Thank you Mr. Lucifer"
"No problem kid, oh and by the way, because you are the beta tester you have been granted by the dungeon a system to help you grow. Well that's all I have to say, I'll check in from time to time, bye Ruby" Lucifer said as he cut off the connection between them.
Ruby smiled at Lucifer's words, "Mr. Lucifer said that I have something called a system? How do I open- oh nevermind" She looked at the screen infront of her and watched as the words change into the status screen.

She hummed at her stats, she knew how fast and durable she is because she escapes abusement from her family and the villagers from time to time, "Ugh, my strength is very low" She smiled bitterly at the number 12 in her status screen. She then slaps her cheeks as her eyes grew determined.
"I will survive and show my family that I'm not useless" She said with a huff as she started walking down the dark hallway.
While inside the Rose/Xiao Long residence 5 people were sitting on the living room all of which have guilty and sad expressions, Yang Xiao Long, Ruby's half sister was the saddest of all of them, "Have they found my baby yet Tai?" Summer, the mother of Ruby, asked the blonde man sitting opposite to her.
"No... The Police haven't found her and when I mentioned she was auraless they started mocking her" Tai's hands were clenched tightly as some traces of blood flowed from his palms, he knows that he was the same as them. Mocking his daughter just because she didn't have aura.
Yang heard her father and cried, her sobs were not unnoticed by the adults as they felt the guilt radiating off her, "It's my fault Ruby disappeared... If I didn't treat her like I did she wouldn't have disappeared" Tears came down like a waterfall as Raven, her mother, knelt down infront of her and wiped off her never ending tears.
"It's not your fault honey, it's also ours. We didn't treat her like a normal person and abused her, we are also at fault" Raven said as Yang cried loudly, Qrow stood up with a black face and walked to the door, "Tai, Raven, Summer, I'm going out" He said.
"Where are you going?" Summer asked as Qrow opens the door, "I'm going to find Ruby and bring her back, after that we'll treat her like family" He did not spare another breath inside and walked away. He grabbed his scroll and contacted the only man who he thought could help with the search.
"Qrow? It is quite a surprise that you are the one contacting me first, usually it's the other way around" The man in the call joked but Qrow wasn't in the mood for jokes and cut to the chase, "I need your help Ozpin"
Ozpin heard the sadness from his voice and answered, "What do you need?" Qrow then requested Ozpin to conduct a search for Ruby, "I see, now tell me, why did young Ruby run away?" Ozpin asked as he sipped on the mug in his hand.
"It's... It's because she couldn't take the abuse anymore" Ozpin froze when hearing the word 'Abuse' Gods he hates that word as his current body also experienced how it felt like to be abused. He slammed his fist onto the table and shouted at the phone in rage, "QROW BRANWEN WE SHALL DISCUSS OF THIS LATER TOGETHER WITH YOUR TEAM"
He then hung up without giving Qrow the chance to speak, he was fuming. He knows that the daughter of Summer was only 5 this year but hearing that they abused her filled him with so much anger, he breathed in and out to calm himself down and sat on his chair with his hand covering his eyes, now wasn't the time to get angry, he has to search for the young rose quickly or else something horrible might happen to her.
