Chapter 12

Hannah had a greet time with Mr. Moore Although, the old man was strict with his rules but he was a funny and interested person.

They had just entered the Moonlight hotel. The best and most expensive hotel in the city.

She was so mesmerized by the surroundings as she kept looking to and fro. Allen didn't say anything about her behaviour instead he stared at the girl in front of him.

"Do you like the hotel?" Mr Moore's sudden question made her speechless but as confused and shocked she was. She hurried composed herself when she understood what he meant. Of course she liked it. Liked everything around her.

"Yes, it is indeed one of the luxurious hotels, I have come to known about." She had beem knowledged about the best hotels and restaurants in the city.

Although, MT company was in the top 10's but that didn't change the fact that she was never able to come to this kind of luxurious before.

He made sure Hannah was comfortable with him.

"Let's order our meals." Mr. Moore was the one who suggested and start reading the menu. Hannah did the same but she was a little bit nervous while looking at the menu.

After placing their order, Hannah found Allen looking at her with longing. She wondered why?

"Uncle." She called out.

"Hannah, honestly, tell me. How do you guys breakup?"

She was taken aback by the sudden question. Hannah didn't thought someone will ask her this again it's been years. Ask you son! She wanted to say but pressed her lips and smiled slightly.

"It's... The same as he had told you."

"I still want to know from you."

"If you are insisting like this I will tell you. It's just the change of heart maybe, he didn't gave me solid reason aside from using me to bought the nationality and a house. I didn't believe him until now."

"Now?"

"Yes, he had changed a lot. I think he hates me more now. Maybe, because I show up in his life as he told me not to." She looked down on the table while Allen read her expressions.

"If I tell you something will you keep it a secret? I don't just want to tell you this because you are his ex-wife but, as a member of Moon enterprise." He looked serious that made Hannah curious.

She immediately asked away, "what is it, uncle?"

"Later, after you moved on to new york. Aaron was alone there and he had a big accident..."

Hannah gasp, her hands on her mouth and she couldn't believe what she was hearing. It was the least she expected from him to tell. She thought he will tell why he really left her that day in the rain.

"Take a sip." Mr. Moore passed her a glass of water which she held immediately.

"When I arrived, he was barely alive after a big accident, in a coma with Anterograde amnesia. It was a relief when he opened his eyes, but the situation was still delicate. Your auntie was barely holding herself together during those difficult moments."

"Anterograde?"

"Yes, where he had forgotten about is past 3 years. I am sorry to tell this to you, but he has forgotten about you too. My son wasn't like this. This change in life made him like this."

Hannah mind wasn't working as she heard the news.

Hannah's heart pounded in her ears, and she could barely hear anything. Soon the food came and the table filled with sweetest aroma.

Hannah swallowed harshly.

"I have request to make. Can you do it?" He asked ber, offering a warm smile.

''Yes.'' She tried returning the gesture, but I was pretty sure it turned out to be a grimace instead.

"If possible, don't bring those moments again in his life. Don't try to make him believe who you are. Be a new version of yourself please." He pour the drink in their cups with concentration. "We have tried it and he was in the bed for two days."

"I understood. I will keep that in mind. Don't worry." Hannah said with a smile that didn't reached her eyes.
