Chapter 7 Outskirts OF California.

It wasn't long that Kara and Tracy left the coffee shop, and hit the road before arriving at the famous state of California.

The journey took about one hour and thirty minutes for Kara and Tracy from the city of Los Angeles to arrive at California the western U.S State that stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for nearly 900 miles.

"We are here, welcome to the great state of California also known as the golden state," Kara said to Tracy.

"Oh my God it's so beautiful, I ain't seen anything like this before!. Tracy exclaimed.

"You think so? Then wait till we get to the tourist site I'm gonna show you, you are gonna love it so much, trust me," Kara said to Tracy grinning happily.

"I'm loving it already kara, seriously kara thank you for bringing me here, you are the best," Tracy said to Kara while smiling gratefully.

"No need to thank me, Tracy, what are friends for?" Kara asked Tracy.

"You are probably right, and thanks okay!. Tracy replied Kara with a bright smile.

"It's no big deal, okay," Kara replied Tracy smiling brightly.

"Yeah, you are right after all you are K.S, so where are we going from here?. Tracy asked Kara.

"Wait till you find out, Kara replied Tracy with a wink.

"Okay! but I can't wait! Tracy exclaimed with a wide grin.

And with that, they took off in Kara's Lamborghini.

After about forty minutes they finally arrived at the famous Yosemite National Park.

Kara neatly parked her Lamborghini at the VIP car park inside the Yosemite National Park.

"Here we are, one of the famous parks in California," Kara said to Tracy.

"Wow! Oh my God, it's beautiful!. Tracy exclaimed.

"You like it?. Kara asked

"Like it?. I love it!. Tracy exclaimed

"I'm glad you love it, so I'm gonna take you to the rest of the parks in California, that's if you are up for it," Kara said to Tracy with a wide grin.

"I can't wait to see the rest of the parks in California!. Tracy exclaimed happily.

"Hi I'm Miss Lena, and I'm gonna be your tour guide, A Young female lady of about twenty-five years said to the duo.

"Oh! nice to meet you, Miss Lena, I'm Tracy Kara's best friend," Tracy said to Miss Lena.

"Nice to meet you too, Miss Tracy," Miss Lena said to Tracy with a smile.

"And it's nice to see you again Miss K.S, or should I call you Miss Kara?. Miss Lena said to Kara.

"Hi, Lena! long time no see huh?. I've missed you very much Miss Lena," Kara said to Miss Lena while hugging her.

"Me too," Miss Lena replied Kara, parting away from Kara's hug.

"Okay so if you are ready, why don't we get started with the tour?. Miss Lena asked.

"Of course!. lead the way please," The duo( Kara and Tracy) said together.

"Okay!. Miss Lena replied.

And with that, they started touring the park.

After about sixteen minutes the ladies, Kara and Tracy got to the park valley with Miss Lena leading them.

"Here we are the valley of Yosemite National Park," Miss Lena said to the young ladies with a smile.

"Wow, it's beautiful! Very beautiful!. Tracy said while taking a photograph of the valley.

"The valley is a galacial valley, located here in Yosemite National Park," Miss Lena said to Kara and Tracy.

"The valley is about 7.5 miles ( 12.1km) long and 3,000 -3,500 ft (910-1,070 m) deep, surrounded by high granite summits, and densely forested with pines," Miss Lena continued.

"Wow that's so cool," Tracy said to Miss Lena while smiling brightly.

"Yeah, it is," Miss Lena replied Tracy with a smile.

"Infact, Yosemite falls is the waterfall in North America, and is a big attraction especially in the spring, when the water flow is at its peak," Miss Lena said to Kara and Tracy in an explaining manner.

"Wow! This is so cool, can we go for a swim Miss Lena?. Tracy asked

"Well it's summer now, so I think it's safe to swim," Miss Lena said to Tracy.

"You heard her Kara! it's safe to swim in the valley, I'm gonna go for a swim," Tracy exclaimed with a wide grin.

"Infact! we are going to go for a swim, me and you Kara, Tracy added.

"Of course we are gonna go for a swim, I can't miss it for the world, Kara said to Tracy.

"It's gonna be one of the many things we've done together as best friends," Kara added.

"Ready or not! I'm coming right in! Kara said to Tracy with a wide grin on her face.

And with that, they dived into the valley doing all kinds of stuff inside the water.

Stuff like racing, water fights, hide and seek and they were having lots of fun together.

After spending an hour inside the water, they came out, as soon as Miss Lena saw them coming out, she quickly handed the two clean towels.

"So how was it?. Miss Lena asked Kara and Tracy.

"It was awesome!. Kara and Tracy both exclaimed together.

"I really had fun, I had so much fun," Tracy added.

"Me too," Kara added.

"I'm glad you girls had fun, so if you are ready, we can go to the lounge and have lunch," Miss Lena said to Kara and Tracy.

"Lunch? That sounds great, Tracy replied.

"So let's go, I'm starving," Kara said while her stomach made growling noises making Tracy and Lena to laugh at her.

"What? Why are you guys laughing at me? I'm hungry, Kara said to the ladies while pouting.

"Awwnn! You look so cute with that face Kara, you should pout all the time," Tracy replied Kara.

"Alright ladies, let's head to the lounge," Miss Lena said to Kara and Tracy.

"Alright, please lead the way, Kara hurriedly said to Miss Lena.

And with that, they both headed to the lounge section of the park.

Getting there, Miss Lena took them to a seat reserved for two.

"Here you go girls, please seat down, your food will be brought to you shortly," Miss Lena said to Kara and Tracy.

And with that Kara and Tracy, both sat down, waiting for the food to arrive.

After about three minutes, two waitresses brought a tray full of food to their table.

It consists of a Mexican burrito, french fries, bacon, and toasted eggs with almond milk, it was smelling heavily arousing the demons of Kara's stomach.

"Wait Kara, don't just eat like that, who knows if it's the wrong table they brought this food to, look at it! it's too much we can't afford this, can we?. Tracy worriedly said to Kara.

"Relax everything is fine," Kara replied Tracy while digging in.

"Excuse me, Miss waitress!. Tracy called to one of the waitresses.

"How may I help you, Miss?. The waitress politely asked Tracy.

"I just wanted to know if this food is at the right table because I honestly think it's not," Tracy said to the waitress

"Why do you think so Miss?" The waitress asked Tracy.

"I mean look at it!. we can't afford it, I'm sorry, I'm very sorry, we sure can't afford this food, please take it back," Tracy apologetically said to the waitress.

"Well! There's nothing to be afraid of Miss," the waitress said to Tracy.

"What do you mean?? Tracy asked the waitress totally confused.

"Your friend here Miss K.S has already paid for the food," The waitress said to Tracy with a smile.

"She has? Tracy asked the waitress totally shocked about what she just heard.

"Yes, she has," The waitress replied Tracy with a smile.

"Okay! Thank you very much! Miss waitress!" Tracy said to the waitress.

"You are welcome, The waitress replied.

The waitress finally left leaving kara and Tracy alone to enjoy their food.

"I can't believe You actually bought this kind of food, it's way too much," Tracy said to Kara while eating.

"Who cares?. Just enjoy, okay? Kara replied Tracy.

"Yeah, I'm gonna enjoy it to the fullest," Tracy said with a smile.

After thirty minutes of eating they left the Yosemite national Park to lake Tahoe, they had a quick swim there, took lots of photographs, before leaving lake Tahoe to San Diego Zoe, where Kara and Tracy both had fun talking with all the animals inside the zoo.

After spending time and having lots of fun in San Diego Zoe, they left San Diego Zoe to the famous Disneyland park located in Anaheim.

The Disneyland Park originally Disneyland, is the first two theme parks built at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim California.

"This place is so amazing!. Tracy exclaimed as soon as she came out of their Lamborghini.

"Yeah, it's amazing," Kara replied warmly.

"I can't believe I'm here at the famous Disneyland park, I have always wanted to come here when I was young," Tracy said to Kara with tears coming out of her eyes.

"You are here now okay?. You are right here with me!. Kara said to Tracy cleaning the tear strands from her eyes.

Entering into the Disneyland park, Kara and Tracy both went for various rides like the:-

Splash Mountain, jungle cruise, pirates of the Caribbean. They had lots of fun riding on these rides, alongside other kids.

"Wow! look it's the haunted Mansion, let's go inside," Kara said to Tracy.

"No, I'm not going inside, I don't wanna get in there," Tracy said to Kara.

"Why not?. Kara asked Tracy.

"Because I'm scared, I'm scared of haunted places and scary places," Tracy replied to Kara.

"C'mon it ain't that scary," Kara said to Tracy trying to convince her.

"It's just for fun okay? And trust me I'd be here for you alright?. Kara said further to Tracy.

"Okay, Tracy replied with a forced smile.

"So you are gonna come in?. Kara asked Tracy.

"Do I really have a choice?. Tracy asked back looking at Kara in the face.

"No you don't," Kara replied Tracy dragging her into the haunted mansion.

And with that they got inside the haunted Mansion, they had fun inside before hopping on the large Ferris wheel.

After their fun time in Disneyland park, they left and visited other places like the Sierra Nevada, Sequoia National Park, Joshua tree National Park, Golden gate bridge, Griffith observatory, Universal Studios, Hollywood, and lastly Alcatraz Island.

They had lots of fun visiting all these places in California and they also had time to reconnect as best friends.

Finally, It was time for them to go home.

"So Kara are you still gonna continue your music career?. Tracy asked Kara while on their way home.

"No, I'm not gonna quit my music career, if that's what you were thinking, I'm gonna continue my music career, it's a part of me that I just can't get rid of, if I do I'd lose myself," Kara said to Tracy.

"Okay so when are you gonna start singing again," Tracy asked.

"After My press conference and interview, Kara replied.

"Nice! Tracy replied.

"Yeah!. Kara said while smiling.

Finally, their outing came to an end, when they finally got to the lobby of Tracy's house.

"See you some other time Kara," Tracy said to Kara while getting out of Kara's Lamborghini.

"See you some other time too, Tracy, bye! and take care of yourself," Kara replied.

And with that Tracy got into her house, while Kara zoomed off in her Lamborghini heading towards her home where her popstar life would be waiting for her.

It was really nice for Kara, as she got the chance to go out with her best friend.

Two days from now she would hold a press conference announcing the continuation of her career, followed by her interview with the famous Alaric Whittman.

She couldn't help but feel sad, after that interview she would have, she won't be able to see Tracy again and she's really gonna miss Tracy because she's gonna spend her time dedicating her entire life to music.

At least that's what she thought, who knows what the future may hold for her.
