25. Happy birthday baby - Ending

Aria even kept it from her best friend. She had hoped that he'd be the first person she'd tell the news in case he back to look for her.

She felt a headache coming just imagining how Mila the drama queen would react.

She had gone on a cruise trip to Europe and came back with a baby in her belly.

" I have my ways. "

Xander replied coolly gazing at her. She was looking at him with surprise. Her wide eyes like an orbit, her confused expression and half opened mouth looked cute.

The mild smile on her face made her look more enchanting under the bright lights of the room. She looked cute that he really badly wanted to hug her. She was so small and looked so innocent that he felt like squeezing her into his arms.

His hands jumping into action, he suavely grabbed her delicate waist. It was so tiny that when he was doing her back on the island he had to restrain himself because he thought that he'd snap it in half effortlessly.

He held her tightly in his arms taking care not to hurt her abdomen.

Only God knew how wonderful he had felt when the people that he had sent to protect her in secret reported back to him that she had gone to the hospital for a pregnancy test and it turned out positive.

He felt that he had suddenly grown more mature and responsible and a certain joy and warm feeling that he had never had.

Aria was also trembling from nervousness and excitement.

She had also been on his mind all that while...

An indescribable feeling arose in her heart as a huge lump formed on her throat. She suddenly threw her hands around him and wailed.

All her grief and grievances poured out in a flood of uncontrollable sobs and tears like a child complaining to her parents that she had been bullied.

" Are you okay? Why didn't you come earlier? "

She complained as she choked on her sobs.

Xander rubbed her back as a wave of sweetness crashed against his heart.

His little woman was waiting for him!

" I was recovering. I wanted to come back in your life as a whole person after all that ordeal. To be the best husband I can and the best daddy for our baby. "

" I knew you'd come back for us! I didn't stop waiting, I didn't give up. "

Aria proclaimed while laughing in between her tears. She was overcome with emotions.

In her eyes, no one else mattered apart from the man that held her tight in his arms.

Not even the rest of the people that had been forced to watch their PDA in the living room.

Mila on the other hand was looking at her as if she had seen a ghost. She was happy that her friend had moved on from that cheating bastard but still Aria would get it for hiding something as crucial as that from her.

They lived under one roof yet the cunning woman wouldn't even utter a word about something as huge as pregnancy!

Xander pressed a kiss on Aria's ear thinking that the little woman really loved to cry a lot.

" Good girl. "

In his low and deep voice, he murmured on her ears as he lifted his hand to lovingly fiddle with the girl's hair. There was a gentleness on his gaze that was as soft as water.

" Before you start doing adult things can we all get in first? It's chilly outside you know. "

Qin Cheng rolled his eyes having had enough of the two. They didn't even wait to get inside the house before they started doing their things Infront of everyone.

He suddenly gulped when a gust of ice cold air emanated from Xander as his eyes turned sharp and threatening.

It was terrifying.

Aria on the other hand widened her eyes in surprise hearing the familiar cheeky voice.

" Qin Cheng? "

She lifted her head from the nape of Xander's neck where she had been burying it only to notice the head that was popping behind Alexander, carrying a huge cake and a bouquet of red roses.

The scene looked funny. She couldn't help but laugh with her eyes still filled with tears.

She was happy. Very happy.

She had never desired any wealth or luxury in her life. All she ever dreamed of was a simple yet warm and loving home with the people that she loved.

The day was without a doubt her best and happiest day so far.

She could finally give her baby a complete home that she never had.

She had full trust in Alexander, she knew that he'd never change his mind and abandon her. They had gone through worst together.

Xander suddenly turned his head and coldly gazed at Qin Cheng.

The confused Qin Cheng timidly tried to meet his gaze wondering why the atmosphere suddenly turned violent. Weren't they embracing each other the other minute?

Xander's lips formed a thin line before he grabbed the bouquet of flowers and icily glared at him.

Who gave him the permission to take his wife's attention away from him?

If only Qin Cheng knew that the man was the king of jealousy.

Xander's dark aura instantly disappeared as he gazed back at his woman handing her the flowers.

He didn't miss the awe and joy in her pretty eyes. She was starry-eyed with infatuation as she stared at the flowers.

A small smile formed on his thin lips before he cupped her face with one hand the other still encircling her waist.

" I'd still find you no matter where or when. Happy birthday baby. "

He uttered dotingly before his lips easily found her plump lips pressing them for a sweet and gentle kiss that lasted for a really long time.
