18 Chapter 18

She retreated from her room rather than earlier than she was supposed. Dismissing all the maids including Emily for the entire day for her to do her own research. She was aware of Emily's curious stare, but she wasn't ready to tell what she was searching for.

And she would never dare to reveal all her plans to the others as well. This was for her own safety and everyone else. If they realized she knew the future, best believe all hell would breakthrough. Her father wouldn't stay still and probably ship her off to her aunt like what'd happened inside her dream.

So she was sitting on her study chair doing paperwork for her own research. Rearranging the study that she'd learned with sir Ikrar. Tore off the paper in the notebook and arranged it on the map the beast place of each region. And rearranging the dream she was dreaming nights before.

Pondering the medium size paper, she took a colorful sticker and the pen and put them in front of her. She thought to herself while writing the event of the dream accordingly on the sticker note.

Different from the dreams sequence, she was meeting with the dead Kyle first before the stupid tyrant king brought her to her old chamber in the castle. So, she wrote it on the sticker as 'dead Kyle :((', 'jailed Elizebeth' and 'tyrant king' before sticking it on the paper before drawing an arrow for the next sticker note beside the first one.

Then she saw Indulf and ran off together with Mark. She wrote 'in the chamber', 'tyrant king left', 'met Indulf <3' and 'run off with Mark'. She did the same as before. Putting on paper drawing arrow.< p>

Her hand terminated her movement as she hit a certain loophole inside the memory. It was a bit weird when she thought about it. She scratched her head, the messy hair bun that she made herself like when she was in college but the stray hairs that failed to be put in it fell over her face yet she ignored it.

"Something weird, bro. I was dirty as heck. Before I ran off, I was clean like a saint. In the middle of searching Baba and Dada, I was dirty and my soft feet were bleeding." She talked to herself, unaware she was talking like the old Olivia instead of Elizebeth in the present. No one cares anyway. She was alone, after all.

She drew a big question mark on the sticker before sticking it on the paper and proceeded to the next event; meeting with the dear brother and father. When she met them, aside from her uncomfortable experience, both of them were smeared with blood all over their body. The evidence that they were fighting with others. Who? That's what she needed to find out. She lowkey believed it was the crazy king that they both clashed with. Okay. She lied. It was highkey the crazy king.

So she wrote 'dirty appearance Elizebeth' and 'met bro and fa'er' on the same sticky notes before she tore it off. She wrote 'fa'er/dada :((' and 'Demien :'((' on the same sticky note and pasted it on the paper as well.

She ruminates about the next event, it's hard to recollect all the memories one by one like she was a freaking genius. She was not. After a beat of silence, the memories came back with her tenacity and hard work to remember.

"I followed the yellow and orange trees. I believed it had magical powers. The color was so vibrant, almost putting her to stop crying. But oh well. The weak Elizebeth was too busy weeping around like a loser anyway. She wouldn't realize it. I realized it because I was watching her from the third point of view. Gotta appreciate the rare view, bruh."

As she soliloquized, she wrote 'magical trees' and 'eagle symbol/aunt?'. Putting on the paper accordingly, she wrote 'what happened next?' on the next sticky notes and sticking it in the very last row of the paper.

"Perfect." She clapped her hands to applaud her own hard work. She put aside the paper at her side and opened her notebooks full of her cute scribbles. Thank god her cute and neat handwriting was passed down on this life as well. She could live with it. It's her pride.

The Shariz kingdom was surrounded by a lot of resources, surprisingly. To add to her own impression, it has dozens of magical creatures and some were the legendary mythical creatures like the phoenix, siren, werewolf, and welsh. As claimed by sir Ikrar, we probably had a dragon residing in one of the forests inside the Shariz kingdom.

Paradoxically, the Shariz kingdom didn't associate with the magical realm for whatever reasons. They built their kingdom solely with human strength, power, and intelligence. That's maybe why others were wary about her kingdom. The independent kingdom successfully broke down the prejudice and climbed on top of the kingdom ranking with sheer willpower, tenacity, and luck.

"That explains the unexplored territories. The kingdom tried their best to not rely on the magical being, and by regulating the movement of their own people and the travelers inside the forest, they could control the clash of two worlds although the mentality does not necessarily agree with me." She read it again.

"Shariz kingdom had everything within their grasp. It's magnificent down here. A living dragon is rare, but encountering the phoenix is even rarer. Someone needs to have the biggest luck inside them to meet one. And taming the mythical beast would be challenging as well. The kingdom around us has its own magical beasts but no one on par with their level. Like I said, a phoenix and a dragon in the same kingdom, a blessing."

She examined the map. There are an east, south, and north kingdom. They had their own specialty. Especially the east. The magicians ruled the region and she was hella interested to meet one. She needed a magician by her side for an unknown reason.

The west was them. Sheer willpower of man country. The South has a large number of nymphs, vampires, and elements. Whereas the North remained a mystery. Some said the werebear; polar bear to be precise, ruled the region. If she could, she wanted to travel and met everyone before the tragedy.

She was 19-year-old when the tragedy cropped up. It has to be her certain future ahead. It was like a conception dream but much clearer than that. The feeling that crawled under her skin was unexplainable.

The fear, the agony, it's all too real to be her only nightmare. She had to prepare for worse. Even means to sacrifice her slacker life for a moment, she had to step up for this. No matter what she was. She didn't care if she was a girl. The sheer willpower resolved all her hesitation.

Momentarily, she was a five-year-old powerless girl. She had nothing that could help her to save the downfall of her family members. Weirdly though, the events that occurred inside her dream were like a deja vu. It feels like she knows the feeling too well she could predict the outcome. Even though she didn't understand the fragment of the dream, she still understood almost all of it as if she'd read the event somewhere.

Where? Why can't she remember? Those are her core input to tackle the problem. The crazy king oddly looked familiar. The features were like someone in the book she read years ago as Olivia. What is it?

She thought deeper. Tried to hark back the remaining cache inside her smart brain yet to no avail. She could not find the answer no matter what she did.

She studied back her own findings to make sure everything was correct accordingly exactly to the sequence before she realized something. She quivered to see a very dear name wasn't mentioned anywhere. She worked out her brain once again to squish the information once again, focusing on that information squarely.

"She wasn't in any scene…" She trailed off dumbfoundedly. Blinked in ironically. "Where is she? Why was she not there? Was she there?" She couldn't understand. "Mother is not inside my dream at all. Where was she? And who the freak that black hair king? Why was she obsessed with this loser, anyway?"

She scratched her head in confusion. "This is the most absurd problem ever. Did this crazy king had fallen in love with the loser Elizebeth? Her? Really? I mean, she is pretty and all but she only knows how to cry. It's annoying, duh."

"I mean why? Why? Does appearance matter like it really matters? … A psycho." She trailed off a little before throwing the final spat. Leaned on her back harshly on the cushioned chair. "Ahhh~! I need to take a breather." She looked at the clock on the table to see what it's the time right now.

She didn't realize it was this late. It appears, mapping the whole legit scenario was time-consuming. She didn't know that. Well, the timing was good to have a night walk, in any case. It's already past 9 p.m. and she had a secret meeting with her dearest brother soon. Enjoying the view, looking at the stars while waiting seemed a nice idea, by the way.
