"They are waiting for you, My Lord." Told Benjamin that rode the horse and kept a distance around her carriage window.
She craned her neck to the window as the carriage moved. A pious smile colored her face before she closed the curtain again. Although her heart was beating fast, she didn't let it show as she practically ignored Kay that ogled at her with his straight face.
"You are tense." His bratty side came out.
"If I were you, I'll shut that mouthy mouth for the rest of the day." She chose violence for today, putting an eerie smile on her face.
He must notice her tense aura and let it go immediately. "Just saying." He backed away and turned away.
She inhaled slowly as she watched the door open from outside.
"My Lord," Benjamin escorted her out of the carriage.
"I'll stay inside." Told Kay without looking at either of them.
Benjamin nodded and closed the door and escorted Elizebeth to the appointed place.
