Mia’s Power

I opened a portal back to the real of gods and walked back to the guild like place for gods to pick up requests. I walked in and went towards the desk with the man behind it.

"Is Mia back yet?" I asked.

"She just got back a few minutes ago. Should I send her a message?" He asked.

"No, but did you see were she might be going?"

"She came in here and reported her mission then left in a white light. She might be back in her domain as usual." He informed me.

"Right." I said side eyeing him. I walked backwards into my portal and closed it.

I was now in her domain and right in front of the door to her "room". Opening the door I stuck my head in and called out her name.

"Mi-" I ducked my head and a blade was sticking in the wall where my head previously was.

"For the last time could you knock before coming in?" Mia asked as she came around a corner. Her hair was halfway in one big braid that looks like it would reach her feet.

"You could just lock the door." I suggested and walked in. Usually she would be wearing a dress, but this time she was wearing what looked like pajama pants with an all white shirt.

"Is there something you needed today?" She asked.

"I wanted to train you today." I said closing the door.

"Right, I forgot. You know fighting a gods beats is hard." She said flopping down on a couch.

"Well, if we trained earlier, you could have made it yours to command, so let's start." I walked into her living room and sat down in the couch across from her.

"First let's work on your ability to control morality. First you need to understand what morality itself is. Morality are principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior." I paused for her to understand.

She nodded her head in understanding and I continued.

"Morality itself varies from person to person. Like myself, honestly I don't care about destroying planet out of boredom, but other gods would see that as being evil which it might be, but that's besides the point. Morality is different from person to person."

"If you want to control morality that means you would sometimes have to do things that go against your own moral compass to influence the minds of others. That would be into the corruption side of morality manipulation." I added.

"So do you want to start with the hood side or the bad side?"

She was quiet for a while and then sighed.

"It's better to get the hard part over with, so let's go with the bad." She answered.

Morality Manipulation: The user can manipulate morality, making people ethically good or immorally evil by psychically kindling the targets' minds so that they succumb to the voice of truth or to the urge of sin. The victim may feel the calling of the Almighty or some other cosmic force of good or succumb to all inner sins. The effect may expire, but that may be years after the evocations.

"First you need to feel all of the "impure" "malevolent" or "evil" energy in the air." I explained. I'm just going off a whim honestly. Even I can't feel things like evil and good energy. I can feel the actual energy of the everything and nothing, but not things like good and evil.

If that makes sense.

Anyways.

"I can't feel any energy in here other than mine and yours." She said.

"So we need to go somewhere filled with a lot of corrupt energy. Actually first I should warn you. Dealing with pure evil and malevolent energy could have an influence on your mind, so you should let me know if you still want to do-"

"Yeah, after all I honestly don't like the fact that I'm weaker than you when I'm an intermediate deity." She said with a sigh.

"Actually we have to talk about that as well, but let's keep that for a later time." I said.

"Looks like our hands will be full for a little while, so where to first?"

"First we should find somewhere with a shit ton of corrupt energy. Some place like…how about…I just got a perfect idea. Let's go to marvels dark dimension. We can basically absorb all the energy in Dormammu's domain." I suggested.

"Won't that be a lot? Like as a beginner, wouldn't taking in all that like REALLY effect me?" She asked.

"Oh, right?…if something happens to you I can knock some sense into you and I already got something planned for Dormammu. Even though it's in his domain, I pretty confident in my ability to beat cosmic or dimensional entities." I said crossing my arms.

"Arrogance is a bad thing you know that right?"

"It is if you can't back it up, plus this is just confidence. I know what I can and can't do, but I don't know my exact limits, but from what I know about Dormammu I can take him fairly easy might I add."

"Okay, but you really have to protect me while I'm doing this." She said pointing at me.

"Of course, you're my partner after all. I don't even know what'll happen if you died." Saying that I opened a portal and waited for Mia to walk through.

"You don't expect me to do this with pajamas on?" She asked.

"Girl get yo ass in this portal." I said levitating her and throwing her into the portal. I then followed behind her and stood in the endless sea of darkness.

"Where is this place?" She asked as she floated around.

"Hell I don't even know. I just come here when I need to find other dimensions. Like now we basically about to trespass on private property and beat the hell out of the owner and steal some of his energy. And leave like it never happened." I said with my eyes closed.

After just a few seconds of trying to feel a connection, I found the dark dimension.

Dark Dimension:

The Dark Dimension, also known as the Darkforce Dimension, the Hell Dimension[1], or simply Hell[2], is a vast dimension in the Multiverse ruled by Dormammu. It is a strange and hostile universe, being an amalgamation of itself and all other dimensions Dormammu had conquered and absorbed into it.[3] Time does not exist in the Dark Dimension in the same way it does within the regular universe. This allows it to be the power source of life-extending spells and the removal of mortality, at times, giving sorcerers superhuman abilities beyond their magic.

I immediately opened a portal into the dimension and even though I can't directly feel corrupted energy I could feel the hostility of this dimension. I looked over to Mia and she seemed fine.

This place was exactly how it looked in the movies.

As soon as we got here Dormammu immediately appeared before of. Well technically this dimension is Dormammu so he already saw us. Anyway, he was looking at us and I decided to get Mia set up.

"So you sit here and try to feel all of the malice in this dimension. It shouldn't be hard since this dimension itself is malicious energy. Then try to absorb it or mix it with your current power." I explained to her.

"What about that?" She said pointing to the eyes of Dormammu, who's just watching us.

"Don't worry about it."

'The fact that he didn't straight up try kill us is already weird.' I thought. I used my space manipulation, to make portals around Mia, so that if any attacks came her way it would go through the portal and Mia would take no damage.

"Cave you too come to bargain?" His voice rang out in the dimension.

"Actually no, I'm here to let my partner train, but I also want to explore this place." I said.

"You dare to come into my dimension and think I'd let you walk here freely?!?" He asked and immediately spikes came from the ground below me and cut right through my body.

Or that's what's supposed to happen.

I stomped my feet on the ground and countered his spikes with my own.

"Listen you have a choice here, let me and my partner do our business and keep your dimension or keep trying to kill me while I take your dimension and make you my slave. Cuz I can do that."

"You can go die!!" He growled.

"I actually can't kill you yet, but I can however do something you might be familiar with. If you don't just let use do what we need to do, I'll put you back in that infinite time loop." I said with a smirk.

His eyes widened and then there was hatred.

"You don't have the time stone so that's impossible." He said. Obviously this was to try and call my "bluff", but I'm the end it just made his situation worse.

I made a clone of myself and snapped my fingers. It was just Dormammu constantly trying to kill my clone and my clone just blocked it's attacks, but they never changed places.

To my right I felt huge amounts of energy flowing over there and looked in thy direction. Mia had a murky purple energy flowing around her and into her body. I didn't know how much was hood or bad, but I didn't want her to get hurt in some sort of psychological way.

After a few more moments I started seeing purple veins run up her neck. Going over to her I let the portals down and tapped her shoulder.

"Mia."

I didn't get a response, so I started shaking her and calling her name.

"Mia, dark dimension to Mia, wake up." After a few more moments of shaking she opened her eyes. There wasn't much of a difference but they were a lighter purple than before.

"You should be good for now. I'll just do my exploration on my own later. Let's move on to the next stage." I said. I opened a portal back to her domain, made my clone disappear, and put time on the right track in this dimension before leaving.

"I wonder what that guy does when he's bored."

I threw the thought away and began with the second stage of her training.

"Now that you have some of that "dark energy" mixed in your natural power I think you could generate it on your own. Try it." I said.

As soon as I said that she closed her eyes and again a murky purple energy wrapped it's around her body. It felt like blood lust was getting shot at me and honestly was irritated.

"Okay good, now you have what I'd like to call Evil Energy Manipulation.

[Evil Energy Manipulation: The user can manipulate the force of evil energy and use it to fulfill their desires, whether it be from a dimension, object, or another being.]

"I have a question though." I said. She stopped manipulation the energy and she went back to normal.

"How does this energy feel for you? Like are you hearing voices or anything?" I asked.

"It feels like toms of bad emotions just mixed together and when I absorb it, I can feel some of that energy trying to manipulate my own morality. Like it was trying to change me." She said plainly.

"I was able to shut it up though. Just had to remind it who's manipulating who." She said hunching her shoulders.

'So she's a prodigy?' I thought with a sigh.

"You ready for the next stage?" I asked.

"Sure, but what about you and your world?" She asked.

"Meh, I'm pretty sure I could come up with something. Anyways, you're my priority right now, so let's start on the next stage. With this we're gonna need more corruption energy while you do have it can you generate it yourself or just manipulate it. Or do you have to absorb more to have more?"

"I don't know. I mean if it's evil energy then that means I'll have to do things I think to be evil right and then get the energy from that?" She asked.

"Yeah, that's why I said we'll be going against your moral compass. Honestly your power has a lot of drawbacks that effect you personally unlike mine which doesn't effect me. That's why yours will be so much harder to master and take time. You'll also be under way more strain, but all of this is to help reach our goal, right?"

I put my hand up with raised eyebrows waiting for a response. I told her all this so that she knows this will strain her mentally and physically. Just because they're gods doesn't mean that they don't have emotions or weaknesses.

With just my little time in this place these people are really just higher humans or just humans with powers. At least she knows what to expect while we're doing this, my concern mostly is when she starts with the hood energy.

I felt a slap on my hand and got out of my thoughts.

"I'm ready for it, whatever I gotta do to master my own power I'll do it, plus I don't want to be some useless partner." She said with a smile.

"Then let's get back to it."

As you can see I'm trying to develop they're relationship, because as of now they only see each other as partners, not even friends, plus I'm revealing more about Mia.

You can also see that she's gonna have it much harder than Akihito did with his powers.
