Eva tightened a belt around Hades's severed arm. [Heal] her ability was barely affecting him again.
She thought it was probably blood, he has lost too much after all.
"Hurry and help Cael, we have to get this idiot to a church quickly," Eva yelled at the guards.
"It's just been less than a minute, we're working as fast as we could!" One of the guards replied.
Drip! Eva noticed something, Hades's wounds have stopped bleeding and his breath became steady again.
Hades's eyes slowly opened up. One thought cruising his mind, that large man in to die.
BAM!
"Hades…" Eva yelled as Hades leaped from her arm toward the wooden wall.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Hades kicked the wall as hard as he could [Repulsion] CRACK! BAM!
The wall shattered sending shrapnel everywhere. The soldier lifted their shields to protect Eva and Cael ducked down.
The bandits who were looking got hit with small wood pieces. Eyes, skin ears, and faces, all got cut and torn as if a cat has scratched them.
GRWWAA! The bandits cried in pain, bleeding from their faces. "Such force, such might" One of the guards gasped. He has never seen wood explode like that.
Thud! Hades immediately leaped toward the bandit leader.
"You're alive!" The bandit leader swung his sword at Hades. CLANG! Cael deflected the slash.
Thwack! Hades' fist connected with the bandit leader's face. [Repulsion] his face cracked and his body flew and got smacked into the wall.
The bandit leader coughed blood as the impact rattled his brain. There was something else behind Cain's fist, he could feel it.
[Attraction] Hades didn't stop and immediately pulled him back. Clenching a fist, Thwack! [Repulsion] A punch to the chest was all he needed to send back to the wall.
[Attraction] He pulled him back in. [Repulsion] A kick to the guts forced the bandit leader to spit his last meal.
{Favor: 0/3200 => Favor: 200/3200}
Hades got surprised for a moment, till this one, all humans only gave him 100 favor. How did this one give 200?
Cael was fighting him, so the favor must have been reduced. This meant the bandit leader was worth 400 favor.
'What a waste, had I managed to kill him alone…it would have been much better' Hades thought while glaring at the corpse.
"Idiot, move!" Cael pushed him away from bolts' way, "Do you want to die, take cover!"
Hades looked behind him, the guards were fighting the remaining bandits. As they clashed dust was getting kicked off filling the room with the scent of blood and dirt.
"Leave me some," Hades growled.
Cael glared at him and blinked twice. Hades was missing an arm, his bleeding seemed to be starting again and his eyes are bloodshot. Cael would be surprised he was even standing if it was anyone else.
Cael quickly gave up, both he and Hades have fought together before. He might hate to admit it, but they are a bit similar. They both fight to the bitter end.
"The three of us are really similar. Let's catch some lives!" Cael shouted jumping into the fight. Hades leaped behind him and they started ripping.
Hades pulls a bandit and Cael slashes him in half, the guards protect Cael from arrows and Hades throw objects at them.
As the fight heated up, some of the bandits decided to run away. Ignoring everyone, they rushed past Eva and the guards aiming at the door.
Some of the guards turned to chase them but Cael yelled. "Leave them be! I untied his leash."
Upon hearing those words, the guards froze. They remembered the old battles and that figure rushing across the battlefield. As black as death, as fast as the wind, and as nasty as a mad dog.
The five bandits rushed outside, running as if their lives depends on it.
Upon exiting the cave, they saw a bunch of horses tied to the trees. Those belonged to the guards.
Between the horses, one stood out. In the middle of the dark night, under the silver moonlight. That mighty black stallion stood grazing beside a tree.
"That one might be worth a good penny, let's take him and get out!" One of the bandits rushed at the horse.
He extended his hand toward the horse.
Neigh! Brrrrr! The horse shook and exhaled loudly, glaring at the bandit with one eye.
"Easy, easy…don't be scared, just…" He extended his hand further, and then CRACK!
As if struck by lightning, the horse's neck moved like a snake, biting the bandit's hand hard enough to break bones.
The horse turned to the side and kicked the bandit in the chest. Since his arm was caught in the beast's maw, the bandit's arm got ripped off and he was left with a massive dent in his chest.
The other five bandits froze, it happened too fast they couldn't even react.
Neigh! Neigh! Neigh! Neiiiiiiiiiiiiigh! The horse started stomping the bandit's corpse, pulverizing his bones into mush.
One of the bandits pulled his crossbow and shot a bolt at the horse. The horse dodged by running sideway and then rushing at the bandit ramming him with enough force to crack his ribs.
As the poor man fell to the ground, hooves started stamping his face like a hammer beating a nail.
The remaining three bandits turned around and hit the heels. This was no horse, a wild monster. It wasn't something they can face.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Neigh! The horse quickly caught one of them, biting his neck. Crack!
The bandit instantly turned into a corpse as the horse stomped him immediately.
The other two ran into the forest, doing their best to find a safe place.
The first one quickly climbed a tree as the horse quickly approached him.
Panting, the bandit looked down sweating all over his body. "Take that fucker! Can't take me down!" The bandit cried as the horse glared at him from the ground.
The horse slowly approached the tree smelling it, giving it quick glances as he circled around. Almost immediately, he started rubbing his hind legs on a stone and glaring at the man on the tree.
Brrrrr! The horses approached the, instantly turned around, and kicked the tree as hard as he could.
CRACK! The tree made a terrifying noise and the bandit almost fell.
Neigh!
Looking down, the bandit could swear the horse was giving him a nasty smile.
"What are…" The bandit said tearing up.
CRACK! The horse kicked the tree again. CRACK! And again…the bandit fell head first.
Thud! Thud! Neigh, Brrrr! The horse started stomping him immediately until his pulse was past tense.
The last remaining bandit had made it deeper into the forest. It was dark, moonlight only occasionally pass by when the clouds allows it.
He sat under a tree, "I made it, what was that motherfucker? Never see…" Then for a moment, the moonlight briefly passed by the trees in the distance. The bandit imagined the horse glaring at him from the darkness.
He immediately stood up, "Fuck, it can't be!" He started sweating, his legs shaking. When light passed by again, there was no horse.
And just a moment before the light goes out, he imagined the shape of a horse to the side.
"No!" He took a few steps back, screaming internally that this was but an illusion. He was imagining things.
When the light came back, the horse was standing a few meters ahead of him. Showing its bloodied teeth as if smiling.
Warm liquid seeped between the bandit's legs, his knees were about to give up. Just before the light goes out, the horse charged.
Neigh!
