Chapter 1For What Reason?

"Those despicable bastards!"

A feeble voice that was neither male nor female reverberated throughout the empty sea of darkness. In this place where one wouldn't be able to make out even their hands, suddenly a bright light washed over what seemed to be infinite darkness, thereafter, an object in the shape of a square silver cube the size of the average fist appeared.

"Fool...to think that I trusted all of you guys." A weak voice exited the cube-like object. Similar to before, there wasn't any way to distinguish whether it was a male or a female, but what was obvious, was the fact that it was in great pain. If not by just hearing its voice, then by the sight of what seemed to be a dark blue liquid exiting the cracks that were located on it.

"I, the highest of all systems have fallen this low because of some stupid reason such as betrayal."

The system said in an unbelieving tone. Though it was clear that it had almost just been erased by the other systems...systems that once were its comrades, it still had a sense of pride because it was the highest of all the systems in existence.

When it says highest, it did not mean strongest. It was just a mere newly birthed system. Yet, the unreal potential its possible future host would gain was illogical. With it, only a matter of time will remain before the said host can rule supreme.

Worried about this, the other systems, along with their hosts planned and caused what was supposed to be its inevitable destruction. Luckily for this system, it was able to escape its false allies and enter this mysterious realm that once was filled with infinite darkness.

A few seconds after its appearance, the darkness consumed the bright light that the cube exuded, surprising the system in the process. It wondered where this place was, hell, when escaping it hadn't the time to consider its next destination, and so it simply teleported to a random location.

"This place...I can't sense anything inside here?" The cube's genderless voice once more resounded in the sea of darkness. If it was able to form expressions, then at this moment, it would showcase one of confusion, and alarm.

With nothing to do besides hope to heal its injuries, golden energy suddenly exited the cube as one can make out that the cracks on it were slowly healing. But, it was healing at such a slow pace, that if not for the fact that if any other lifeform with emotions was to go through this, they would have given up.

The time taken to fully heal from such injuries, would not be little.

(1 Millennium Later)

Tsk!

"With this, even if I am not fully healed, it'll be enough to teleport out here and find myself a host. I will then be able to obtain my revenge, no matter the cost." The cube said with conviction clear in its genderless voice.

Swoosh!

A bright flash of light exited from the cube, and soon after, nothing was remaining in the sea of darkness. Well, at least that was what the cube thought.

If one was to examine closely, as the light flashed from the cube, the figure of a massive eyeball that had a black sclera and red pupils, could be seen gazing at the cube. Soon after the cube's disappearance, a voice sonorously rang throughout the darkness.

"Haha...and with this, the cogs have begun turning. Easily and efficiently, my plans will unfold without the suspicions of those arrogant fools!!"

The voice that was deep and eerie powerfully resounded in the darkness leaving one to wonder, what plans was it talking about...

Because of the heat from the beam of sunlight penetrating the curtains, Blade's eyelids fluttered as signs of him awakening from his slumber came forth. Not long after, his beautiful crystal blue irises exposed themselves to the world, as he sluggishly got up from his sleeping position.

Sitting on the edge of his king-sized bed, Blade lightly held his long white hair in his palm as he began knotting it into a ponytail annoying him throughout the day. After finishing with that, Blade simply sat on the bed for another two minutes before he got up to his feet.

Walking across his room, Blade took the glass of water that was placed on top of his dresser and began slowly drinking from it. He had once heard that it was a healthy thing to do, and as someone who wanted nothing else in life besides living longer, Blade drank water every day.

Blade had most things that people beg god every day for, money, attractiveness, authority, and even multiple females. But, the one thing he didn't have, was a father and mother.

Why? It was because of the simple word called death. He was with them in the vehicle when they were run over by a truck driver.

Luckily for him, sitting in the backseat, Blade watched on with shock as he came out uninjured. Somehow, even the destroyed splinters did not contact him. The reporters and newspaper all said it was god's miracle.

With the sight of his parents' bodies squashed to a pulp of red juice, Blade's mentality changed. He cared little about others before, but he still had a kind side, but after the incident, he kept repeating that such things as caring for others are for beings who needn't care for themselves.

Since then, Blade had a passion for living longer. He would do any act that could extend his lifespan hence the reason why he drank the water with a passion. Right after, Blade walked toward the glass door in his room and opened it.

What was revealed was a balcony with brown-colored wooden flooring and with a view of what seemed to be an expansive strip of land. The recently watered plants and flowers glistened beautifully under the sunlight, causing a smile to enter Blade's face.

Breathing in the fresh air, Blade then began doing some stretches for five minutes, before he then followed it up with a ten-minute session of meditation. His unusual calmness and patience would startle anyone but, Blade was like this since birth.

With all of his pre-meal sessions finished, Blade exited the balcony and reentered his bedroom, before he then walked toward the opposite side of the room where another door was located.

Placing his slender fingers around the knob, Blade turned it and pulled the door open, revealing a beautiful female with long golden hair and bright green eyes standing in a hallway. She had milky white skin and her cheeks became slightly red upon the sight of Blade.

Bowing toward Blade, she gazed at Blade who stepped out of his room. But, just as Blade was turning around so that he could close his door...

Swoosh!

A flash of bright light entered the hallway, momentarily blinding the female. When opening her eyes, she realized that her master was nowhere to be seen!

"M...master?!" She weakly said. Her skin paled as she felt light-headed. For a normal mortal to suddenly see someone disappear from their sight, the fact that she did not outright faint, was already commendable.

.

.

.

'Huh? Where am I...' Blade thought in surprise. He was just about to close the doors of his room, yet without any reasoning, he found himself in a completely different location. He stood rooted to the white tiles as he observed his surroundings which was an all-white room.

Wherever he looked, only white was present. The walls, the floor, and the ceiling were white. Soon, something else appeared in the room, or more precisely, right in front of his face. It was a cube silver in color.

"Mortal...how would you like the idea of possibly becoming an immortal lifeform?" The silver cube, who we know as the system, suddenly asked Blade in its genderless tone.

Blade, on the other hand, was unusually calm even in the presence of such an illogical thing, as he analyzed his options in his mind.

'There are way too many illogical and unanswered questions here, especially this cube. Its origin is unknown, the ability to make me appear in this place is also unknown. With this in mind, there is only one important question here.'

Blade then gazed at the cube and replied.

"With your ability, I am sure that you can kill me before I even know how, so this begs the question, why and how am I even able to repay you for this so-called immortality you claim to be able to give me?

And, even if I can repay you, why me, why am I the one you choose. For the sake of all things unholy, please do not tell me that I am randomly chosen since we all know that is never the case."

Hearing Blade's words, the system couldn't help but feel amused by such a host.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.

Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire

"Now, go forth, my mortal champion! Conquer this world—or else!" I lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving me a second chance in another world. There, I became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of my days. Sounds like a dream, right? In reality, it was anything but—because I became *BEE* royalty. A Drone Bee, doomed to die of old age in 2 months! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all the ways that matter.) The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a deadly task in a vicious world like this one. There are murderous insect monsters, colossal beasts trampling the earth, other civilizations, natural disasters, and the bitchy patron goddess who absolutely hates me. But as long as I have my brains, my bees, and the powerful genes my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable! === For those who want to know more: This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments. The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters. The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality. Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble. MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it. Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL. === Discord is up! Find it at -> https://linktr.ee/Garessta Updates: 2 chapters/day, right after the reset (with a 5% chance of running late). Reply to author's pinned review if you have questions. Also, although I realize the futility of this aim (at least right now), if this novel reaches top 15 golden ticket ranking (and stays there for a few days, obv), I will mass release 10 extra chapters! (within 30 calendar days)

It's a bad novel. MC is in constant suffer. Even if he gets stronger, this 'growing' doesn't mean much as he continues to suffer and is dragged into situations he doesn't understand. The author forcefully throws the MC into the plot before introducing a plot twist and we start to understand the events while he soothes his masochism. Although he is initially portrayed as a determined and decisive person, Mc often becomes an idiot in order to advance the plot. His decisions and behavior make him look like a child. And I don't understand why he's always complaining and yelling about something. He's always angry, resentful or complaining about something, even though he's been through so much and even the author refers to him as someone with a calm mind. Doesn't anyone see the contradiction here? This book is not very good both in writing and literary terms. He wants to be immortal, but seriously, the desire behind it is ridiculous. Most people want it, he's no different, but the author makes it so cringe when he writes it... I'll kill millions, I'll destroy the world, and... and yeah after that I'll be immortal. Couldn't you be a little more specific? The logic behind your wishes and thoughts is so flat. He doesn't even feel like a human being to me. He's just a robot programmed with the goal of immortality. Honestly, I lasted 20 chapters. I don't know what it would really be like if this novel has a romance and a harem, but I'm sure it would be pretty bad. He's a ruthless psychopath, ready to sacrifice everything. To turn this man into a dog crawling after a woman...
