Chapter 14

Sarutobi Hiruzen was a man who was hailed as the professor during his prime, and he knows very well how dangerous a Fuinjutsu master can be in battle. The Uzumaki clan were the best of the best when it comes Fuinjutsu and many ninjas who were enemies of this clan were glad that this clan no longer exists.

But here infront of him, stood one of the last remaining members of the Uzumaki clan. Naruto may not know about it, but the professor knew that the Uzumaki blood runs through his veins and it was widely believed that any child born as an Uzumaki, had a natural and strong affinity towards Fuinjutsu. ' Did Naruto found out about his heritage? ' Hiruzen thought.

" Why do you want to learn Fuinjutsu Naruto?" Hiruzen asked Naruto.

" I'm gonna bring some changes to a cursed clan." Naruto answered.

" Which one are you referring to?" Hiruzen asked, "The Hyuga clan." Naruto answered.

" You want to remove the Caged Bird seal? " Hiruzen said his voice sounded serious and Naruto simply nodded.

" This is impossible to accomplish Naruto-kun, and the Hyuga elders will never allow it. "

" I made a promise and I intend to keep it." Naruto said. He already knew that changing the long traditions of the Hyuga clan was an impossible feat, he'll meet with a lot of oppositions from the main branch, especially the Hyuga elders. But if this will make Hinata happy, nothing is impossible for him.

" So where do I start?" Naruto asked. Hiruzen simply sighed and wrote something on a piece of paper, stamping it with the seal of the Hokage he gave it to the blonde boy.

" Go to Konoha's ninja store and give him that paper."

Naruto simply nodded at the old Hokage, " Know this Hokage sama I really don't trust you after what you failed to do during Hinata's kidnapping incident, but still thak you for this, remind me to repay you someday because I don't like to keep debts." With that Naruto left the Hokage's office.

Kuromaru was waiting for Naruto outside the Hokage tower. When he arrived with a paper in hand, he asked What's that paper for. Naruto said that he needed it at the Konoha's ninja store. After walking through the alleys, they safely reached the store. It was a building who was two stories high, it wasn't big but looks decent enough to be a store.

Naruto and Kuromaru were hesitating to enter the shop, this was the first time they Entered a shop, without the intention of stealing that is. They both wore a face that made them look like professional buisness men. Then they entered the store.

" Welcome my dear customers!" Welcomed a middle age man, he had short brow hair and a very ripped body which was clearly seen through his shirt. The man noticed that his customers were a young blonde boy and a black calf. He knew the young boy but the calf... maybe was the boy's pet.

" So young man what can I do for you." The man asked. Naruto simply gave him the paper Hiruzen gave him. After reading the paper, the man looked at Naruto with a smile. " So you wanna learn Fuinjutsu huh?" Naruto just nodded. The man then continued, " It's good to see such young lads like you interested in a skill like Fuinjutsu. The road ahead of you is tough but remain persistent in learning, so that you can be as great as Lord Jiraya someday ok." Naruto nodded. " Well the supplies are expensive though." Naruto flinched at that statement. ' EXPENSIVE!!! How the hell I'm gonna pay that.'

" But since the Hokage is paying for it this time, you are in great luck then." the man gave Naruto some good news. Now he got two debts to pay back to the old Hokage.

" Wait here a bit ok." the man said an disappeared to the room covered by the curtains. A few minutes later, he came with a box, a stack of paper, and a thick book. He then began to explain the stuff to the young boy. " Alright this is a full Fuinjutsu set, it comes with to three chakra brushes, three bottles of chakra inks, and a manual how to clean you brushes. Then here are a stack of Chakra papers, five hundred sheets to be exact. These are expensive ok, so don't waste them. Then last is this beginner's guide for Fuinjutsu. It contains all the required knowledge to master the basics of Fuinjutsu. And that's all."

Naruto absorbed all the information given to him like a sponge. He then thanked the man putting all the stuff inside his backpack, the left the store. " Oi! Kid!" the man called Naruto. He turned to the store to see the man standing at the doorway. " If can make some good quality scrolls you can always sell them to me ok!" Naruto simply nodded and went on his way to the pit.

Once inside their underground home, Naruto kept the Fuinjutsu set, and the stack of chakra papers on the shelves. Naruto took the extra thick book titled, " Fuinjutsu for beginners" . And it written by the first Hokage's wife, Mito Uzumaki. Putting the book on a wooden log as a temporary table, he turned the pages to Chapter 1, Naruto began to read the contents putting his full attention on learning the book. That evening, Naruto spent his entire time in reading the book memorizing it's contents letter by letter. At three in the morning, Naruto closed the book and with the satisfied smile, he fell face first on to the temporary table. After a few seconds of silence, he began to snore loudly symbolising that Naruto had fallen asleep.

He managed to remember all the contents of the thick book due to him having a Photographic memory he developed in the orphanage and outside of it which had enabled him to survive this long. ' Knowledge and brute strength is power ' That is what Naruto believed it he wants to survive in a world which abides with the ' Jungle law'.

He now knows the basic of Fuinjutsu and how to perform them, in theory that is. The art of Fuinjutsu is a very complex one. To perform Fuinjutsu, one needs four things: A chakra ejector, a chakra marker, a medium and chakra control.

A chakra ejector is a device which focuses chakra into a point so seals can be written by it and the brush is an example of a chakra ejector, even our finger tips can be used as one, but the brush is prefered inorder to keep it sanitary.

Next comes the chakra marker, which are substances inorder to give seals it's physical shape. A good example of this is the chakra inks, even blood can be used but inks are used for sanitary reasons.

Then comes the medium, in which any material that used inorder for seals to be written on. Only chakra papers is allowed to be used as mediums, things like writing seals on the skin can only be used by high leveled seal masters.

Last, but the most important one, that is chakra control. Seals are as delicate as china dolls, so a constant and huge steady supply of Chakra is needed when writing any seals, otherwise the scroll would misbehave, or worse it would simply explode.

Other than that the person must have good calligraphy skills, Which Naruto was some what decent at.

When Naruto finally woke up, he readied himself for the day. After the brutal training he and Kuromaru had endured during the morning, and the nice and relaxing afternoon with Hinata at the park, the last daylight faded into darkness, Naruto began his Fuinjutsu training.There were three types of seals a beginner must learn to make perfectly, to become a level one seal master. They include a simple level one storage seal, required for a level one storage scroll. An illuminating seal for an illuminating scroll. Last, were the weight seals which were used for training. The weight seal gave Naruto a good idea to improve his and Kuromaru's training. He can't Wait to apply it to their training, even his face was plastered with that same creepy grin that Kuromaru named as, " First brother's excitement grin", as Naruto always shows this grin whenever he is excited.

Naruto picked the brush soaking the tip on the chakra ink, he repeatedly chanted in his mind, ' Only little chakra, only little chakra, only little chakra...' Then he drew the perfect level one storage seal. Now... was the moment of truth, he pour Chakra on the seal and smoke came out of it and finally burst into flames... obviously the chakra he applied was way too much. " Well it seems I don't have beginner's luck don't I ?" He said to Kuromaru with an awkward smile.

Kuromaru stood a little distance away from Naruto for protection. " Y-Yeah." He said awkwardly.

After another failed seal, Nauto put his faith in his third attempt, with the famous saying, " The third time always works like a charm." Well that didn't go well either.

After the tenth attempt, the chakra paper still burst into flames. After the twentieth and thirtieth attempt, it was stil the same. But on the fourtyseventh attempt he finally made a working storage seal. " HAH!!! GOT IT!!!" it was clear that he was overjoyed at his first success. But that did not stop him from making more storage seals. He then proceeded with the next two seals.

After hours of failures and success, from the five hundred chakra papers, Naruto had drew over fifty-six level one storage seals, fifty-three Illuminating seals and a hundred weight seals. This marked Naruto to as a self-certified level one seal master.

It was a beautiful evening for the owner of Konoha's ninja store. The sun has just set and darkness was enshrouding the village. Bu this evening, he felt that something good is coming to him, his buisness senses never lie to him. His store's door opened to show the same young blonde boy and his black calf, who bought the Fuinjutsu set and the other stuff.

" Well well well, looks who's here.! " The man said jovially. " Here to buy some more chakra papers I assume."

" Not actually. " Naruto said.

" Hmm... then what are you here for then."

" I'm here to sell my works."

The man was shocked, it would take a lot of time and practice to make usable seals, and this boy managed to make usable seals on the very first night! ' This boy has some talent in him.'

" Oho... it looks like you are very talented." The man praised Naruto, but the young blonde did not even show a hint of emotions.

" let's see you work shall we."

Naruto nodded and placed three level one storage seals on the counter. The man was impressed, three level storage seals after the first night of training... that was an impressive feat. But what happened next blew up his mind.

Naruto poured chakra on the the first storage seal and out came a whole stack of storage seals, the second had a stack of illuminating seals and the third had a huge stack of weight seals.

The man's jaw dropped at the sight. This was simply too much. Hell, nobody had ever heard someone making this much seals in one day. ' This kid...' He thought seriously, ' He's gonna make me rich!!!' he screamed internally with excitement. ' At the rate he's making these seals, and the need for these seals, I'll be filthy rich by to he time I realise it.'

He then inspected the seal for any defect, but found none. ' I'm will be swimming in a pool of cash if he becomes my buisness partner.'

"So my young man.." The man said, his face had the look of a great buisness man. " You and me can become great buisness partners. We will be very rich I tell you. So what do you say?" He extended his hand. " You get fourty percent and I get fifty percent."

He felt bad for doing such unfair proposition to a kid, but this was buisness... Nothing was unfair as long you get money. Besides he's just a kid what will he even do with so much money.

Naruto, from the time he entered the shop he wore his own buisness man face. At the unfair offer. He scoffed at the man, ' So this is how to you want to play huh? well game on!!! '

" Actually I have better ideas..." Naruto said.

' He won't go down with a fight will he?' the man thought and he smirked, ' Let's see how far will you go lad.'

" How much do you propose then?"

" I say sixty for me and fourty for you."

' Hold up!!! That's absurd!!! ' The man exclaimed in his head.

" Young man you do know that your seals are just seals. They have to finished into scrolls to be sellable. So for such services and the service of my store selling your products to our customers, I believe that atleast a deal of fifty-fifty is ok."

Naruto smirked, " You do know I made them right? and making this many of them was no easy task, so you got to respect that. Plus you are not the only store that is willing to be my buisness partner. "

That last part of Naruto statement caused him to flinch.There were three other rival stores that sell ninja goods in Konoha. The deal was low on his side but he will never allow his rival stores to get this gold mine infront of him.

" Alright 55% for you and 45% for me, last offer." He tried his last attempt to get at least a small 5% .

" Were leaving." Naruto simply said and turned to walk towards the exit. The man was terrified, ' If this kid goes to my rivals shop, they are going to... HELL NO!!! I'm not gonna allow that!!! '

" Wait kid!!! " The man literally screamed at Naruto. Naruto turned to the man his face had that creepy grin on him. " I accept you deal. " the man said, not happy at all.

" Pleasure doing business with you. You can call me Naruto." Naruto said as the shook their hands.

" Same here. You can call me Arata."

" Can I sell you these seals now? " Naruto asked. Arata counted each seal then said, " For the level one storage seal, 100 ryo each. For the Illuminating seal, 50 ryo each and for the weight seal, 40 ryo each. So deducting it with my service tax, umm... You can get 10,000 ryo in total."

Naruto gave a low whistle, ' Damn that's a lot.'

" How much is one stack of Chakra papers. " Naruto asked.

" 5000 ryo, anything else?"

" Can you get me a more advanced guidebook for Fuinjutsu?"

When all the stuff have been brought to him, he stored all of them in a storage scroll, ' Scrolls are very useful, it make things much easier for me.' Naruto thought.

Naruto went in to the Shop and earned 10,000 ryo but he came out with only 100 ryo. Naruto was never a materialistic person, so things like money are just pieces of paper. Only things which are useful to him are considered as important like food and clothing. Naruto and Kuromaru were never the ones to be picky with their food, because " beggars can't be choosers". When it comes to clothing, Naruto will wears anything, but it has to be comfortable and it must be male clothing. Whereas for Kuromaru... mother nature had already blessed him with a black hide to cover his entire body.

At the pit after a heavy dinner, Kuromaru was asleep while Naruto was at his makeshift table reading the even thicker book titled, " Fuinjutsu guide for level 1 seal masters to level 3 seal masters"

This book was a lot more advanced from the previous books it contains things like rules and regulations while writing seals, necessary precautions and many other stuff any seal master must have.

" This is going to take while." Naruto said to himself.

The days passed by and the year had ended. During the new year festivals, Naruto and Kuromaru were invited by Hinami to have dinner at the Hyuga compound. Which Naruto agreed after a long and excruciating look at the famous Hyuga puppy dog eyes given to him by Hinata. Those eyes looked so sad when he said "no", He felt really bad , he no other choice but to comply to the offer. If it makes Hinata happy he's happy as well, even if he had sit at the same room with her father.

During the dinner Hinami surprised everyone there, with the news that she was pregnant and was expecting a baby girl. Hinata was overjoyed that she will be having a baby sister, Naruto was happy to see Hinata happy, and Kuromaru could not wait to play with the baby.

The entire Hyuga compound was filled with joy at the news. But something was going to happen soon... and it was going to get bloody, really bloody.
