"You kids are from the academy?" The guard asked.

Ezra was about to answer, but then suddenly Seth yelled. "Ezra duck!"

Ezra immediately bent low, and an arrow passed over his head and struck the ground.

This happening took everyone by surprise, the guards as well, they turned to the direction that the arrow had come from, but there was no one.

But Ezra was not one to be fooled, as soon as that arrow was shot, he had locked onto the shooter with his shadow sense.

"Let's go." He said and dashed in a particular direction, the group followed behind, while the guards stood there confused.
