Funny feelings.

Now, the snow came down for the first the previous day, and it was beautiful. But now the day they were supposed to go to Ajalon, the snow was not friendly. It was a strong blizzard. Being the second time the snow will fall, they did not expect it to be like this, but it was not a normal snowy day.

You could hear the sound of the strong wind against trees and things. It threatened to blow away anyone that dared step outside. The heavy snow made visibility impossible, there was no way anyone could go out into that snowstorm.

Their plans for that day was canceled... At least for that morning it was, we don't know if by evening the heavy snow would have stopped, but for now they just had to wait and see..

Since the place was big enough for hundreds of people, they had each taken a room...

Lydia sat in front of a fire she had made out of her witchcraft, thankfully finding dry wood in a ruined city was not hard... She had gathered the sticks herself, put it in the middle of her room, and said some chants and the fire came up.

Although she had fire to warm her, it was not enough to keep out the cold of the strong wind.. Luckily for her, there were blankets that needed usage, and she was glad to make use of them. They were dusty, but she had to work with what she had..

She covered herself tightly and sat down in front of the fire, stretching her hands towards it as if to receive something...

Her lips curled up with pleasure as the warmth of the fire crept into her fingers.. It made her feel good.

"Mind if I join you?? The unexpected interruption made her flinch....

" No..., you can come in Lucius" she tries her best to fix her eyes on the fire, she could not bare looking at him for too long. Especially when it was just the two of them in the room. She just had a funny feeling in her stomach, it was like it was itchy but in a good way..

She was now thankful to the snowstorm. It made this man cover up properly. He had also found a blanket and wrapped himself in it. He sits down opposite her, and stretches out his palm towards the fire like she was doing..

"crazy weather huh?? He says smiling..." yes, crazy weather indeed" she replies with her eyes still fixed on the fire...

Silence fell in the big room. She was feeling really awkward, if only he knew the kind of pressure he was giving her right now...

"so tell me about Lydia... Lucius said, finally breaking the awkward and killing silence..." before she became a werewolf I mean... He emphasized..

She felt flustered at first because one she was not expecting such a question and two there was really nothing much to tell.

" what can I say, Lydia is the daughter of Zanna, she was born in a small cottage in the forests, she is a witch, her mother died three years ago,..... There was a hint of sadness in her voice as she said this. And without her mother, she has being living a miserable life, and I think her mother would be ashamed of what she's become.... She says this last words with a quick look at him, then turned her attention back to the fire....

For some reason, his heart ached as he heard her speak.. There was just so much sadness in her eyes... He felt the urge to stretch forth his hands and cup her face in them.. But he restrained himself..

"well I don't think your mother would be ashamed of what you've become.... Lucius suddenly said... I think she would rather be fascinated at the woman you have become... I mean, apart from the fact that you are a very, very beautiful woman..... Wait what was he saying, it was like he could no longer control what was coming out of his mouth.. It was like they had a mind of their own.. And for some reason he was feeling funny in his stomach..,

You are also a smart and strong woman.. The strongest I know. And you are a very brave one at that. So I'm sure your mother will be really proud of you ..... Oh my gosh., he could not believe himself.. How was all this coming from him.. She was having a huge effect on him and he was just now realizing it..

Lydia on the other hand who had been trying to avert his gaze, had ended up looking him in his eyes as he said those things.

What he said sounded really ordinary, but she could feel her heart racing like crazy as he complimented her.. Truth be told, she was very shocked at her crazy heart... His eyes that were like hers were like they saw through her very soul, and looking at them made her heart thump even harder...

She had to place her hand on her chest to stop it from busting out... After his sweet words, she knew she was supposed to say something, but she was too dazed to give a speech...

"thank you Lucius" she said and gave a bright smile, revealing her perfect set of teeth to Lucius.., and it was just now that Lucius realized she had dimples.. They were so attractive.. For some reason, he had not noticed them since.. Well maybe that was because he had not actually seen her laugh before..

But now that he sat there looking at her, she looked extremely adorable.., he was really holding back the urge to poke her dimples...

Just the Smile she gave made him feel hot all over.., I mean there was a crazy blizzard outside, but here he was feeling all hot... He could feel little things crawling in his stomach... What was this.., what was she doing to him..., how can just her smile make him so restless....

"so Lucius, tell me about yourself... She said, things were getting awkward so she felt she had to say something.. Before you became a werewolf I mean... She added with a chuckle...

Oh this woman was just testing his patience... She should really stop smiling like that.. It was blowing his mind...

"well as you now know, my name is Lucius.., I was a slave from birth.., I have been working the fields and cleaning yards and doing hard chores ever since I could walk..., he shrugged as he said this, acting nonchalantly, but Lydia still caught the agony in his voice...

I...ehhh.... I once had a brother.., but ehhh.... I lost him to the hands of those merciless people.... You could see the anger In his eyes.
